A balanced blend of academics, exposure, & professional opportunities.
Placements: The B.Com experience is not only about classroom learning. Building a resume through internships, competitions, and society work is common here. This helps students become employable by the time they graduate. Students interested in analyst roles should develop strong Excel skills. They should also develop strong analytical skills alongside their degree.
Infrastructure: The hostel common areas have entertainment options with TV and board games, which create a homely atmosphere. The campus has centralized AC, and the canteen has AC available too. The classrooms are also well maintained. A gym and other sports facilities are available too to ensure students' fitness.
Faculty: I have found faculty here to be genuinely helpful, especially when it comes to clarifying doubts before the exams. The curriculum covers a good range of commerce topics with decent industry relevance. Exams are challenging in certain papers but fair overall. The pass percentage usually stays around 82%.
Other: The atmosphere is excellent despite it being an off-campus college. The music & atmosphere are upbeat and energetic. There is a competitive spirit. College feels very professionally oriented.

The story and life of SGGSCC.
Placements: The placement cell is very active. Last year, highest package was 24 LPA for B.Com. This is a very impressive record. 55 students were recruited by Deloitte this year. Getting recruited by the Big Four is indeed a big thing itself. I would rate my college placements as 9/10 for being an off-campus college.
Infrastructure: For B.Com, there are various new computer labs for getting practical knowledge. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. There is a huge library. It is multi-storey, and all classrooms are well air-conditioned, hence justifying the fees. The hostel food is good and provided on time. The quality of food in the mess is also good. Medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The lectures are pretty much helpful. They helped us gain knowledge of the subject and course. All qualified professionals were enrolled to teach us. Hence, they enhanced the quality of studies. The B.Com course is curriculum-relevant. Studying under those professionals enhanced our knowledge a lot. Semester exams are manageable with constant practice and dedication.
Other: I chose this course because of the high placements involved in it. I am also doing an additional course alongside it, so being in B.Com helps a lot.

A great place to learn and grow.
Placements: For me, the biggest advantage is the combination of affordable education and corporate opportunities. You do not have to pay excessively high fees to get access to internships, competitions, and placement drives. The final package depends upon individual performance, but the overall opportunities are worthwhile.
Infrastructure: The library staff goes beyond just issuing books. They help with research. They provide access to online databases and create a welcoming environment. The campus also provides well maintained, spacious, air-conditioned classrooms. It also has modern labs, good sports facilities, and overall great infrastructure.
Faculty: The quality of teachers has genuinely impressed me here. Professors know the subject and take a real interest in how students are doing. The curriculum is relevant. It covers taxation, auditing, and financial management properly. Exams are rigorous but fair. They test actual understanding. The pass rate consistently crosses 86%, which says a lot about both teaching depth and how exams are structured.
Other: School life goes on, unaffected. Freshers are received kindly. Due to the strict anti-ragging policies, the environment is immediately a safe and inclusive place.

SGGSCC has a strong peer environment for students who are ambitious about their careers.
Placements: The overall placement culture is quite professional. Students must meet eligibility requirements and go through different recruitment rounds. The placement process helps, but internships and communication skills also play an important role. SGGSCC has a strong placement culture, with 380+ offers from 120+ recruiters in 2025–26.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi signal strength is strong even on higher floors and in older buildings. The network infrastructure seems robust. The hostel has good community space. There are opportunities to interact with students from different backgrounds. College provides good infrastructure with spacious classrooms. It also has a well equipped library. There are computer labs and Wi-Fi. Classrooms are comfortable and suitable for learning.
Faculty: The lecturers are very friendly. They are open to students asking questions that are not necessarily on the syllabus. They are always happy to discuss current economic policy in some depth. Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. They encourage students. They also ask questions & participate in discussions.
Other: It's almost too easy to find good PG accommodation. The neighbourhoods around Pitampura have been specifically developed to facilitate the massive outstation student body of the college.

Helpful faculty and relevant curriculum.
Placements: As per the Annual Report published by SGGSCC, the average package for 2025–26 is 5.85 LPA. The median package is 6.05 LPA. The highest one reaches 26.8 LPA, with consulting, sales, and finance as the top roles being offered. Companies like Deloitte, PWC, EY, Bain & Company, and KPMG are among the top recruiters at SGGSCC. For internship opportunities, the highest number of internships are in marketing, followed by content, sales, and BD. The average internship stipend is Rs. 12,000. The highest one is Rs. 75,000, at companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Grant Thornton, and Paytm.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available both in the college and the girls' hostel. The classrooms, labs, library, canteen, and hostel are completely air-conditioned. The campus is very clean, although there is a slight need to work on Wi-Fi in the college. Overall, the campus is very peaceful. It has a gurudwara, which adds to the positive environment in the college. The classrooms are spacious as well. The canteen facilities are also good and have a variety of foods and snacks, with new items being added as well. The college also has a photocopy and stationery shop.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. They clear students' doubts in a detailed manner. For the B.Com programme, the curriculum covers commerce, accounting, law, and management. There are SEC and VAC subjects that help students develop practical knowledge. Overall, the course provides a balance of theory and practical learning.

Supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and placement opportunities.
Placements: I would say placements are really good in this college as at the beginning of the 3rd year, many high-paying companies came along with Big 4. The package is good. The top recruiter is Deloitte. Articleship opportunities are also provided for students pursuing CA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great as Wi-Fi is provided to us. There are more than 5 labs in the college for practical exposure. The canteen and hostel are available along with a mess. The medical room is also there in case of any mishap or medical need.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are very knowledgeable and helpful. They provide guidance not only for study-related queries but also for career and future opportunities. They are very strong in their subjects and have proper knowledge. It helps to create a positive environment in the college.

Good commerce college with decent placements and active campus life.
Placements: Placements are decent in the college. Around 60-70 percent of students got placed through the placement cell. The average package is around 5 LPA and the highest can go above 12 LPA depending on the company. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG and Zomato visit the campus. Many students also get internships through the placement cell.
Infrastructure: While in this college, I have found that it has some of the best infrastructure compared to other colleges, although some people disagree with this. You can find out this for yourself, this college is one of the top in terms of infrastructure. The hostel of the college is a girls' only hostel, but in recent years it has also developed very well.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and mostly helpful. They explain topics clearly and are approachable if students have doubts. The curriculum follows DU guidelines and gives a good base in commerce subjects. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, so if you study regularly, it is manageable.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in commerce and business-related subjects. The best part of the college is the active societies and the exposure students get through events and internships. The location is also good and well-connected by metro. One thing that could improve is more practical exposure and industry interactions.

Good college for commerce students.
Placements: Most of the placements are from the B.Com Honors. Talking about the B.Com programme, there are fewer placements, but the average package is about 5 LPA-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, EY, and KPMG, where nearly 50 percent of students got placement, and the top roles offered are in Audit.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is availability of Wi-Fi. There are around 4-5 labs on campus, and many classrooms. There is a library a 3-floor library facility. Hostel is also good. The food is above average, sports room is also there, table tennis, badminton, and cricket are also available. The medical facilities are also available in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The students can reach them for help anytime. The curriculum is somewhat irrelevant, it is not helpful for practical life. The difficulty level is nearly moderate to difficult, not too difficult but not too easy pass percentage is nearly 60 percent. If the student completes it, passing CA is easy.
