Very good college with great overall campus life.
Placements: Quite decent placements we have. But now many companies are not coming to our college. The highest package on paper is 60 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and medium is 5 LPA. Asian Paints, Qualcomm, Amazon, and Flipkart are top recruiters for our college. I don't have much of an idea about the roles.
Infrastructure: We do have good facilities and infrastructure in our college, like everywhere you go, we have separate Wi-Fi for each floor in each block, spacious classrooms with digital projectors for interaction with students, and a big library, and we do have active clubs, activities, and interactive sessions with professionals and experts.
Faculty: We do have experienced faculty who have a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching. They do interact with students in the class. Expect few to teach just the subject in the curriculum when it comes to our curriculum. Exams are not too tough, the papers are prepared by our separate branch faculty, and they are very moderate to hard.

I would recommend this college.
Placements: There is a good amount of student placements and internships. Roles offered are mostly operations, HR, marketing, finance, and analytics. There are good recruiting companies like Deloitte and Asian Paints, etc. Above 75% get placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college has its own cafeteria and Wi-Fi facility. It has more than 3 computer labs and has its library. All hostel rooms are neatly cleaned and sanitized, and the food provided is also safe and healthy. College also has a gym which is well-maintained and has proper ventilation and infrastructure.
Faculty: All teachers explain in both theory and practical ways, which helps students to understand easily and more effectively. The education is done on a case-study basis to get practical knowledge. Overall, faculty members are friendly. Percentage of marks is divided into 70 marks internals and 30 external.
Other: There are fests conducted continuously in 3-4 months. Events and many extracurricular activities are conducted like singing, dancing, cultural events, acting, art, sports and many more.

Review of GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam.
Placements: Only 10-15% of students were placed, and the packages didn't exceed 3.5 or more compared to what they show it's much more disappointing inside because it's all based, and too many restrictions even in placements. As many people didn't get the opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure when I was studying was okay but they made it better now. Facilities and all are fine but for the school of business it was bad compared to the fee we pay but they are renovating everything now. So now it could get better! The food in the mess is not too good.
Faculty: Many teachers I have come across were well-qualified and very fun too. But still, you can find some facilities that are based, and disrespectful too. The courses and all offered are good. The pass percentage for internals and overall is 35/100 and it is relatively grading.
Other: It's not as good as shown but can get exposure.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students from the BBA course got placed in the last placement season. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for BBA students are ADP, Adbeets, Leadraft, etc. Most placements are in sales and marketing. Popular roles include business development, executive customer, and relationship manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice. They are renovating more. We have air-conditioned classrooms, comfy chairs, secured with CCTVs, hygienic and good restrooms, libraries with many books, good computer labs, Bloomberg terminals, grounds, cafes, an indoor court, a gym, auditoriums, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members at GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam are generally qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality and methods are effective, making learning engaging. The course curriculum is decent but could be improved, especially in terms of assessment to better align with industry needs. While the curriculum provides a strong theoretical foundation, it may not fully prepare students for real-world applications without more practical exposure. Semester exams are not overly difficult. The pass percentage is relatively high, reflecting a good understanding of the subjects. However, more focus on practical assessment could enhance industry readiness.
Other: I am pursuing a BBA in financial markets at GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam. It was driven by my interest in finance and market dynamics. The course offers solid theoretical knowledge but lacks sufficient practical exposure and hands-on training. While the curriculum is decent, it could be better structured to meet industry needs. The best aspects are the experienced faculty and the vibrant campus life, with various events and extracurricular activities. The campus is well-connected with good infrastructure. Scholarships are granted based on GAT scores. The scholarship exam is conducted by GITAM.

Gitam: A good choice for me.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students were placed last year. The highest package was 1.2 crores and the average package was 6 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Mahindra, Adobe, Aditya Birla, and Tata are recruiting. All students in 2nd year have to do at least 1 mandatory internship so that they could be eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice. They have high-tech classrooms. The whole campus has free Wi-Fi access. And the library is accessible 24/7, both online and offline. The quality of food in the mess is A1. It is very tasty and hygienic. It is prepared under qualified chefs and they also have a variety in their menu.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and approachable. They all have PhDs in their respective fields and have 15-plus years of teaching experience. The sem exams are moderate. Anyone can pass if they study a little. The course curriculum was liberal education, which I found not relevant but after the 1st semester, we were asked to choose our major and minor and the curriculum has changed and I feel that it is more relevant to my field.

If you go for BBA you can only go for MBA but if you go for B.Com you can do many more courses after graduation.
