I am absolutely satisfied because the faculty is very understanding, and there are good placements.
Placements: There is a high percentage of placements in B.A. (Hons) Psychology. However, paid internships are not provided; as students, we have to pay for internships in the psychology field. Internships are offered from the 2nd to 3rd year because the 1st year covers the basics of psychology.
Infrastructure: College campus is not big, but all the classrooms, labs, and library are in very good condition. The hostel facilities are good, and there is a canteen with a wide variety of food and a gym.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams are good. The psychology faculty is very understanding and regularly attends classes to give lectures. They are helpful and not strict at all, always supporting students with any problems they face.
Other: There is a huge crowd during the odd semesters like 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th because the new academic year starts and there are selections for positions like president, vice president, etc. I chose the psychology course because I am interested in it, and I love listening to people’s problems without judging them. I enjoy helping to solve their problems. There are many fests in the college, including flash mobs 2 to 3 times a week and many more events.

A really good college and spent 3 years worth it.
Placements: College supports placements but I was in B.A. so there was no particular placement system recently. There is this company I forgot the name, but it is like some TP or tasks type company. I think TP and tasks play more. But B.Com can make something out of you.
Infrastructure: Campus and hostels are good. The infrastructure is great and can be settled easily. There is also the best college in every other sense except placements for B.A. others I don't know. College is a place where you can have the best college life with ups and downs. Food and mess system is awesome, you can also visit canteen and other cafes and stalls in college itself, with a walking distance of 800-900 meters. We have sector 32 market where you can buy anything you want, and also there's a street food market which is open in the evening.
Faculty: Exams and all the other factors above mentioned are top notch as you know it's affiliated with Punjab University so education and degree are top notch. The curriculum is well structured and efficient also the facilities are up to the point. From here you can continue you are course at Punjab University or any other college. Chandigarh Dav and Punjab University are great options for M.A. in psychology on merit basis, or you can give CUET and continue in any other central university.
Other: College has it's own fests and the crowd is absolutely awesome. College celebrates 2-3 fests. College clubs are best because they host fests very frequently. These are like NEST out of all other colleges.

    All About SD College Chandigarh.
Placements: Many students got placements with a good amount of package. Many were placed in hospitals, medical companies, etc. Many were hired as psychologists, counselors. Many big companies were there to recruit with a minimum package of 6 Lacs per annum to a very big amount.
Infrastructure: The department has good Wi-Fi facility, labs are clean and up-to-date, things are kept there with AC and projector in each lab. Classrooms are neat and clean with top-quality whiteboards. The library is very up-to-date and big. Hostel/canteen is very clean, and food is prepared hygienically with good products. A medical room is available with good facilities. The sports ground is taken care of, and many games are there.
Faculty: Teachers are very sweet, humble, and helpful to each and every student, with very high qualification and knowledge. Their way of teaching is very good and professional. Yes, this course is very curriculum relevant. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult as everything is taught by the teachers. Pass percentage is very high.
Other: Psychology is a very growing and interesting field. Events and fests are very frequent in college, campus crowd is good, and connectivity among students is very good. Many clubs and groups are there to join.

    A LITTLE WORTH THE HYPE.
Placements: Placements are provided, but they depend on your skills, knowledge, qualifications, and grades. Big firms do come to the college to offer internships and on-campus recruitment. However, the course is new, so we cannot expect many placements for this particular course.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi and three canteens: one open canteen, one shed canteen, and one in the PML Business School. The classrooms are large but do not have AC. The hostel food is very nice and provided on time. The college infrastructure is good but very small.
Faculty: The faculty is good. The teachers are qualified and experienced in their fields. They are knowledgeable and helpful. There are mid-semester exams that are meant to be very hard to score, and then there are the end-semester exams, which are conducted by the university.

    Good college, good crowd!
Placements: There is no guaranteed placement. The placement percentage is about 20-30%. There is also a placement cell available for the students where they can seek help. The average salary packages are 5 LPA. In my department, students usually go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available. The library is good enough with a decent range of books. There is also a reading hall. Labs are good too, mainly the psychology lab, botany lab, chemistry lab, computer lab. The fashion department is great too and is well-equipped. The food available in the hostel is of great quality, and the menu changes monthly.
Faculty: The teachers are definitely qualified, and most of them are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and teachers use both practical and theory methods to teach students, which is great. The level of difficulty of semester exams isn't too much. The pass percentage is 35%. Also, 75% of attendance is required.
Other: Fests and events take place pretty much regularly, like 1-3 per month. The campus crowd is great and friendly too.

    Good infrastructure and crowd.
Placements: So I am from Bachelor of Arts, and I have done Honours in Psychology. I will have to say that even though I was given internship choices, I had to pay a big amount for each of them. Yet, they were available, and the placement percentage has got to be 50%+.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite proficient, and though I was not living in the hostel, I have had friends, and from what I have heard, the rooms are good, each provided with air conditioning. The meal options and menu were good but definitely can be made healthier.
Faculty: Faculty is good, the teachers are good, well most of them, and the curriculum is good too. The exam structure is good enough, I would say. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate, and overall I would like to also mention how the exam finest are very high, and that makes it difficult for us students.
Other: The fines are too high .
