I am not interested in my college.
Placements: The average package of the college is 5.5 to 6 LPA. This college is good for core branches like Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil. In the IT sector, companies like TCS, Renishaw, President, Pratiti, and Softlink visit the campus. I don’t have much information about internships, but in IT, you need to find good internships on your own. In my class, two second-year students got selected for an EATON internship in Data Science. The lowest package is 3.5 to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is not good and has less bandwidth. Labs have old PCs. Some don’t turn on, and others are broken. The classrooms are okay. The library is not very good and gets too crowded during exam season. In the digital library, almost all the PCs are either broken or don’t turn on.
Faculty: Don’t expect too much from faculty. Some of them are not very knowledgeable in their subjects and don’t cover the syllabus on time. It’s very rare to find a good teacher, but some are good at teaching and behave well with students. The curriculum is good, but in my opinion, it doesn’t fully prepare students for the industry. Exams are not very difficult, and the passing criteria are 40%.
Other: I chose this course to become an IT engineer. I would like to see improvements in the curriculum. Also, there is so much partiality among students when it comes to clubs and club activities.

Good college with decent placement rate. Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 80 to 90% students get placed. The highest package is 11 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Softlink, thoughtwork, President technologies, Pratiti, Renishaw recruited. 60% students get an internship with PPO offer with average package of around 6 LPA. Roles like Intern, Project Head, Software Developed are offered.
Infrastructure: Advanced labs, good Wi-Fi connection. Suitable classrooms with all facilities. Best hostel infrastructure with good mess and special TV and sports rooms. E-library for the students with integrated book stock and reference materials, and link of the courses like NPTEL.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers, supportive staff. NEP syllabus is integrated with different departments and many industry-based courses like AIML, AIOT, EV. Total 60 marks ESE exam with 24 marks for passing. 20 marks for internal and 20 marks for mid term exam.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Karad.
Placements: Overall, most of us are well placed now. I was placed at Visa Steel Ltd in Odisha, and companies like TCS, ONGC, Vedanta, Infosys, Ultratech, Jaypee, HZL, and Wipro typically accept average students with a 65% score. This occurs every year due to the abundant internship opportunities available at this college. Additionally, you can obtain free internships through the college based on merit. There are also chances to secure internships with top and reputable companies in India, such as NTPC, BHEL, BSNL, and Reliance.
Infrastructure: After attending the semester-end exams, students can only pass if they have earned at least 50 (username_1) or 45 (including 50% internals) points. Thus, by completing the coursework and earning 26 credits from the 1st and 2nd semesters, students can get promoted to the 5th semester; similarly, 52 credits from the 1st to 4th semesters are required for promotion to the 7th semester. The college used to have a hostel on-site, but that building has now been transformed into an administrative block. Currently, there are no hostel facilities, although there is a college canteen inside the campus.
Faculty: The student-to-faculty ratio is quite good. Exams are relatively easy; all you need to do is purchase some Twenty 20 guides to secure good marks in the examinations. It's important to attend your classes, as this fosters better coordination with your teachers. There is no hostel facility, as the college is situated in a prime location in Jabalpur, surrounded by numerous coaching classes and hotels.
Other: I chose the B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering department because it aligns with my goals and aids in achieving my aspirations.

GCEK through my eyes.
Placements: 90% of students are placed in reputed companies like Tata, Adani, Siemens, JIOBP, Cummins, Larsen and Toubro Limited, Siemens Energy, Adani Power, etc. The highest package offered is INR 25 LPA. The average package offered is INR 6 LPA. Overall, placements are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available for the course are well-equipped. Classrooms and lecture halls are modern, spacious, and designed for highly interactive learning. Laboratories and practical training facilities are available. The computer labs are equipped with high-performance systems.
Faculty: Faculty members for the course are highly experienced professors and industry professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights into the classroom. Most of the faculty members hold advanced degrees and have substantial research experience.

A truly best college. Faculty was also good, and placements are the best.
Placements: In the current year, 75% of students were placed from the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering branch. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. TCS, Hella, Bharat Electronics Limited, Burns, Siemens Energy, Aeron, etc. are the top companies hiring students from the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering branch. 65% of students got internships from the ENTC course in the above top companies. Companies hire ENTC students as junior engineers, senior engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: In the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering department, all the facilities are provided, such as unlimited Wi-Fi, proper labs with all required materials, and fresh classrooms. Also, the hostel is good and provides great facilities and things such as furniture, fans, lights, washing machines, etc. The mess food is also good.
Faculty: In the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering branch, teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and experienced. The teaching quality is truly good. The curriculum is also good and makes students ready for the industry and placements. Semester exams are of mid-level difficulty, but students get the highest marks because of the teaching.

Overall review of GCEK. Average faculty, good placements in past years, and average campus.
Placements: In the electrical engineering department, the total placement percentage is 100. The highest package offered in this specific course is 8 lakh, and the lowest is 3.5 lakh per annum. The companies like Tata, Godrej, Fiat and other big IT companies visit here during the placement.
Infrastructure: The capacity of the class is nearly 100, where students are provided with a blackboard and a smartboard. Also, there are various labs for performing practicals for different subjects. Also, students were provided with Wi-Fi facilities with their own ID and password. The college has a digital library and a reading room from where students get access to books.
Faculty: The teachers are experienced and helpful. Always motivates the students for developing and working on their skills. Usually mostly teachers use Marathi language during teaching and also the students use Marathi language to interact with the teachers. From the first semester, teachers and the faculty work on the skill development of the students. According to NEP, there are a total three exams. The first semester exam is a little bit easy.
Other: I chose this course because, firstly, it is a government college and the opportunities provided by the college to the student is good. The best thing about the college is its placement and training cell. The college hosts annual fest every year and there are also various kind of clubs and groups like arts and crafts, innovation, sports, etc.
