Government Engineering College is best for placements.

Placements: Placement is best in the civil department. At Government Engineering College Rajkot, it is better than other colleges in Gujarat. Maximum placement is with L&T. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and company is infotech company in Rajkot.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college and college hostel is very beautiful and amazing. Atmosphere and infrastructure of the college are the same as our home. All facilities are available at the hostel and college, for example, water supply, Wi-Fi, electricity, etc. A total of seven branches are available in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are best than other colleges. Faculty members in the electrical department are like family members. Exams of the civil department in our college are mid-term exam online of 30 marks and final GTU exam offline of 70 marks.

Review of Government Engineering College, Rajkot.

Placements: Placements were very good. There were 90 students in our batch. If you score good marks in the 12th standard, you are eligible to join this college. Almost 45-50 students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Genpact, L&T, etc. The top roles were offered in this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was huge. The laboratory was better. Wi-Fi was available in our college. We had a decent library. Each branch had its own department. Hostels were very good. Our college fee is Rs. 60,000 per year, including the mess fee.

Faculty: The course curriculum was good to make students ready for the industry. Industrial visits were arranged by faculty members. Semester exams were not difficult. If you study properly, you can score good marks.

Other: There were around 90 students in our batch. I chose this course because of my interest in it. Many opportunities are available in the civil engineering course in today's world. Our college should improve its laboratory facilities. Scholarships were provided to merit students. If you need any information, you can visit the official website of this college. Our campus crowd was good. Extracurricular activities were conducted in our college. Our college did not conduct annual fest.

I am satisfied with our college and this is the best college.

Placements: In our college, around 50% of students got placed. The salary package offered is 2 LPA in top companies like Tata, HCL, etc. Almost 50% of students get internships. Some students with good skills get jobs in good companies like Tata and some students get jobs in the local companies of Rajkot. They give good salary packages to students.

Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure and the best facilities in our college. We have Wi-Fi in all our departments and also in the library. We also have labs in every department of our college.

Faculty: In our college, almost all teachers have Ph.D. degrees. The teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are good and helpful to everyone. If we attend classes regularly then exams are easy for us. If we don't attend classes regularly then exams are difficult for us. There are excellent faculty members for labs.

Other: I chose the civil engineering course because I liked working as an engineer on a construction site.

Great college for engineering.

Placements: In the civil department, placements are not that many. The average package given to students is 2-3 LPA. And also internships are not that much. Many students opted for higher studies like masters and all then they start the job for a better future. And some go for a direct job after graduation.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi is available in all classes and department. Labs for every subject are also available in every department. The library is also there in which there are many books to read and study-related books are also there. The sports ground is also there.

Faculty: In the civil department, all the faculty are highly educated. They give practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge also. But to be an industry-ready student also have to do self-development and had to gain other practical knowledge also. So in the future, they don't face any issues.

Other: I choose civil engineering because I have an interest in it and had a great future.

I'm much satisfied with the faculty members available in our college.

Placements: There are not many placements in our civil branch. There is maximum number of placements in computer department only. But in the civil department, they train the students for the internship. They also do industry visits and make students ready to go anywhere for interviews. But one can't sit and think. They got placement directly from college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is very good. All the facilities are available. There are Wi-Fi facilities available in every department. There are workshops in which many machines are available to do practical with it. There is a library also in which one can find a maximum number of books to read and books related to other branches or courses. All the facilities are good in our college. There is a canteen also in which one can find many different dishes to eat. There is a sports ground also. There is an auditorium also with maximum facilities.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are good. They all are qualified and have great knowledge about their respective subjects. The main thing is that in our college more than 50% of faculty members are young. They make the students industry ready. There are 2 exams in our college, the mid-semester exam and the GTU end-term exam. The GTU exams are not so hard if one properly learns what the faculty members teach and do some hard work.

Other: I chose civil engineering because I have an interest in things related to developing and making designs and planning things related to it. Our campus is vast. All the students are friendly and many events and many activities are also organised.

Clean & cool college & good infrastructure, faculty's member and staff also.

Placements: In our department the rate of placements is 30 to 40 students out of 75. The package offered to us are not more then 300000 CTC. Top most recruiting companies are from Rajkot & Ahmedabad. The percent of student got internship from our course is about 60%. In local company of construction. We discussed about the case of top roles are work as site engineer and some of the student are interested in Design of structure.

Infrastructure: If we discussed about facilitates their are all kind of facilities in our college like canteen, drinking water, clean washrooms etc. Full college is covered with Wi-Fi network. All type all labs & classrooms are available in all departments. There is 1 library stand in the center of college. If we discussed about the hostel facilities are above good level. The quality of food is eatable. The medical facilities is available in all departments. Every year we planned sports week for playing different types of indoor & outdoor games.

Faculty: In our college in all departments the faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable because of they are recruiting by clearing of government exam. Their are very well teaching and also helping the student for any kind of help. Of course the course is curriculum relevant. In practice time/ Lab time we are going to site/industry visit also. Nothing is difficult in semester exam of the college and the pass percentage is about 12-15 marks out of 30.

Other: In our college we celebrated all festive like Navratri, teacher's day, sports Day, plantation, etc. And in year one time we organised the event for all students ( All engineering student of Gujarat ).

I am absolutely satisfied because of the good placements provided here.

Placements: Government Engineering College of Rajkot is one of the best colleges in Gujarat for engineering. There are good faculty members. In our college, in the last year, about 83% of students were placed. Last year the highest salary package offered was nearly about 47 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: In our college, labs, classrooms, library and sports room are well maintained. There is only a boys hostel. However, sports group is good here, and there are all sports facilities like bats, balls, basketball, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Our college has good teachers and professors. They all are well graduated and have degrees like PhD and doctorate also. They all are very knowledgeable in their field. All the professors are helpful and kind. They will help all students. In our college, all courses are good, but I prefer you to choose civil because of the government jobs available in it.

Other: I suggest that a girls' hostel should be built for village girls.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Approximately 65% of the students get placed from college. The highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Jyoti, Alluminati, Tatvasoft, TCS, and many more companies visit our college. Around 40-50% of students got internship from above mentioned companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. There are various departments for various branches, in every department, there are many classrooms. The library facility of our college is very good, and it has many books to read. There are 2 boys hostel in our college. Hostel rooms are very clean.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful to students. They are knowledgeable persons. The faculty of gpsc are qualified. The teaching quality is good. Teachers also help in placement activity. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They also help students to design engineering projects. All the internal guides for the subjects of our college are very good.

Other: I want to be civil engineer, so I chose this course. As a civil engineer there are many roles in the society. College campus is very good. There are many activities we do in college.
