Absolutely Satisfied Because of Everything My College Gives Me

Placements: Placement was good in our college; I also got placed through the college placement, so, yes, the placement is decent. Approximately 60% of students get placed during college placements, as there is a criterion of zero backlogs for students to qualify for appearance in placements.

Infrastructure: There were huge facilities at my college, Greater Noida Institute of Technology, such as Wi-Fi, labs, fully air-conditioned classrooms, and the size of the library was the best thing. Our college has a campus capacity of 1000 x 1000, with a huge size of ground.

Faculty: In our college, the teachers were very helpful and friendly in nature, assisting all students across every stream, such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.

Other: I chose this course because my father wants me to become a mechanical engineer.

Good for studies but the hostel is not good and the quality of food is very poor.

Placements: On average, around 60–80% of mechanical engineering students get placed, depending on the year and the economic conditions. The highest package typically ranges between Rs. 7 and 12 LPA (Lakhs per annum) for top performers. The lowest package is around Rs. 2–3 LPA. The average package generally falls in the range of Rs. 3–5 LPA. Typically, about 50–60% of students secure internships during the course.

Infrastructure: The department typically has well-equipped laboratories, including the Fluid Mechanics Lab, Thermodynamics Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Manufacturing Lab, CAD Lab, and Material Science Lab Workshop, which are equipped with lathe machines, milling machines, drilling machines, and welding equipment for hands-on practices.

Faculty: Generally, the faculty of GNIOT is known to be supportive and approachable. Teachers are often willing to help students with doubts, projects and guidance beyond the classroom. The teaching methods often include a mix of traditional lectures, practical lab sessions and project-based learning.

Other: Sports Fest named (SPARDHA) are conducted every year.

College is good; placements are not great, but many companies visited.

Placements: Greater Noida Institute of Technology is a good college compared to some other private colleges. Placement in my department is decent, not very good, but yes, many of them are placed. The highest package is INR 3.5 LPA, and overall INR 2.2 LPA are average packages. Many sales companies visited for placement.

Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is good; there is not a large campus, but good ground is available; canteens are not good enough; after taking some other courses, there is a rush in many departments; but overall, the campus is in good condition. In my department, the labs are not good; only a few lathe machines are available.

Faculty: In my mechanical department, faculty is not as helpful as in other branches; here, faculty is always in an aggressive mood. The faculty is qualified, but the teaching quality is just decent. There are many extracurricular activities, like CSDC. Here, tests are done from time to time.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering at this college because there is a big reason I got a fee waiver seat. A mechanical branch is evergreen; if you are doing it perfectly, it is a good branch. I think the college must purchase some machines for the mechanical branch; they set up an automation lab for mechanical students. There are not many events that happen; mainly, I attended the fresher party, the farewell party, and founder day.

Placements: 95% of students got placed with the highest package being 15LPA, the average package being 6LPA. The companies recruiting students in on-campus drives are Wipro, Axis, Mahindra, etc. The college also provides internship opportunities in top companies to its students. The average post offered to the students is of a manager.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi facility and the classrooms are fully air conditioned while being digital in nature. The college also organizes extra curricular activities for students. The hostel is also equipped with Wi-Fi facility. The services are also good. All the hygienic standards are met in mess and hostel.

Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced with every lecturer providing support and academic assistance to students. The students have to study hard and be active in all the events organized in the college. The college also provides help and assistance to students for innovation and startup building. The college organizes guest lectures, corporate lectures, and other seminars for students to be up-skilled and motivated.

Other: I chose this course to skill up my performance in the field of mechanical engineering. I am keen to innovate and work on new technological Ideas and advancements. GNIOT also organizes fests, events, industrial visits, and other activities for its students.

It provides good placements and excellent infrastructure.

Placements: In this college, overall students are placed in various companies. The maximum salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 4 LPA. Many companies are recruiting in this college like Lakin Baza, Mahindra, Jindal, Force Motors. The role offered is a fluid mechanism.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is excellent. The classroom is very clean and hygienic. Laboratories are very good. There is a very big library in our college, and around 2 lakh books are there. The food served in the hostel is very good as compared to other colleges. The food is very hygienic.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified with UG and PG degrees. They are very helpful and cooperative. They always support students, and provide knowledge. It provides many chances to students that they can make them ready for industry. Semester exams are hard.

Other: I opted for this course, because it provides a good job and decent life. My aim was to become an engineer so I opted for this course.

Nothing is required to float from slide, documents are only required when you freeze the allotted seat and also when at the time of admission you need all the documents mentioned in the JoSAA information bulletin.
