Decent placement with effort, strong campus life, mixed academic experience.
Placements: My college gets a decent number of companies to the campus every year. Many students manage to get jobs through the placement drives. Recently in 2025, around 1600+students are placed with the help of the college placement team and about 370 companies visited the campus to offer jobs including Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Samsung, Wipro, and others.
Infrastructure: Currently, it is in the development phase, but overall, it is nice and clean. Everything that is required for the students and faculty is available in the respective facility areas. Wi-Fi, labs, and classes are all clean and comfortable. The management and maintenance of these facilities are very impressive.
Faculty: Faculty and staff are very kind and helpful. Always try to help the students. Pushes them towards new opportunities and provides the latest information regarding different industries for their betterment and development. They try to encourage their students and help them with different projects by giving useful advice.

Good placement and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement scenario for the mechanical Engineering batch is quite good and improving every year. Around 70-80% of the students from our course get placed through the campus recruitment, while others opt for higher studies or off-campus opportunities. The average package ranges between 3 and 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college provides very good infrastructure for the mechanical engineering students. The labs are well-equipped with modern machines and instruments, classrooms are spacious with projectors and proper ventilation, and the library has a good collection of textbooks, reference books, and digital resources.
Faculty: The faculty members of the mechanical engineering department are qualified, experienced and supportive. Most teachers have strong subject knowledge and explain concepts using practice examples, industrial applications, and real-life case studies, which helps in better understanding. Doubt-clearing sessions are regularly held.
Other: Overall experience is good.

The field of mechanics in KIET Group of Institutions.
Placements: In 2025, 70% of students got placed in good companies like Infosys, Tata Steel, etc. The highest package of 2025 is 12 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the median package is 6 LPA. Placements of our department are good than other colleges near by.
Infrastructure: In my department, there are high-speed Wi-Fi, computer labs, mechanical labs containing CNC machines, and 3D printing lab too. In classrooms, we have 4 ACs and smart board where teachers teach us. There is a huge central library that can hold 500 students at a time.
Faculty: There are a total 2 mid-semester exams and 5 CA exams in CA. All activities are conducted like quizzes, presentations, and assignments in the end-semester exam. If students are unable to maintain their 75% attendance subjective they will be detained from this subject.

It is an autonomous institution and it the best, so we can enjoy the course and dedicate everything.
Placements: 99% of mechanical engineering students got placed. The top recruiting companies for our course are JSW, HUL, IOAG, ISGEC, etc. The average package offered in 24-25 is 4.72 LPA. Roles offered are design, quality control, production, and sales. It is under AKTU. It is the best college for mechanical engineering, where we can get an amazing opportunity, as the college is now autonomous.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The campus is spread over 18 acres, which will involve doing fun but in studies, KIET is the best among Delhi NER colleges. The location is very good in terms of industry relations. Overall, KIET is at the peak of growth among institutions.
Faculty: The college is autonomous, and the course curriculum is developed as IIT has improved year by year, so it provides the opportunity to take admission in this fee range. Exams are also conducted by the college, so the level is also up to us. The course curriculum is also industry-relevant.
Other: Actually, I have done a Diploma in mechanical, so there is a good opportunity to pursue a higher level and make a career in this field. It is about interest and never about the package. If we have an interest in other courses, then we have to dedicate every single second of our lives to pursuing them.

KIET: A journey from low to high life.
Placements: 95% of students are placed, with an average package of 3 to 4 Lacs. Top companies like Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever, Wika, Ambika Steel, JSW, Adani, SMS GROUP, and also having the opportunity to take a placement at Germany at Mercedes-Benz with the help of B.Tech + ADAM course (by BENZ).
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and their condition is perfect. Other labs, like CAD workshops, are also in excellent condition. The library is well-maintained, and the food in both the hostel and canteen is good. Additionally, various food huts are available on campus for your favorite meals (a Nescafe Cafe recently opened), offering items at reasonable prices, and thalis are also available.
Faculty: Mechanical Department teachers are excellent, they support us in improving our skills, motivate us to study and achieve our goals, and ensure the overall faculty's nature is top-notch. They don't make faces or disrespect you, instead, they tell you the truth, clear your doubts, and appreciate you. They don't judge you based on your academics.
Other: College is good and perfect, also having an excellence center for our skill development, and it provides every facility for our perfect and great future.
