GNIHM JET 2026: Application Process, Syllabus, Pattern, Preparation, Admit Card

An All-India level Joint Entrance Test (JET) is conducted by the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality courses offered by it. GNIHM JET is also commonly referred to as JIS Entrance Exam.

In order to secure admission in BHSM and BHMCT courses, candidates need to clear JET Examination that is conducted by the college. For BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Management (H) and MSc/MBA Hospitality and Hotel Management, aspirants need to clear JET Entrance Examination. The exam is of one-hour duration wherein aspirants need to attempt 120 questions. JET is conducted by GNIHM in the month of January, April, May and June.

The eligibility criteria are different for UG and PG level courses offered at Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management. To secure admission in UG-level hospitality courses candidates should have completed their 10+2 or higher secondary examination. The eligibility criteria for PG courses are such that aspirants should hold a graduation degree from any stream. GNIHM offers a Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Operation at both the UG and PG level. Thus, the eligibility criteria for this course state that candidates should have cleared their Class 10 or Class 12 or graduated in any stream.

Age Limit: Candidates can be a maximum of 22 years of age to meet the eligibility criteria to secure admission in Bachelor's degree courses and 25 years for MSc/MBA in Hospitality and Hotel Management course.

Step 1: Fill GNIHM JET Application Form

Candidates can fill the online application form by visiting the official website of Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management for admissions. Aspirants need to pay GNIHM JET 2023 application fee. The application fee can be paid using Debit card/Credit Card of any nationalised bank or through DD/Cheque that is drawn in favour of “Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management“ such that it is payable at Kolkata. Apart from this, the cash payment of application fee is also accepted by the college.

Step 2: Download GNIHM JET Admit Card

The admit card for Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management JET exam is sent to aspirants by email, speed post or courier service.

Step 3: Appear for GNIHM JET Exam

JIS entrance test is a written entrance exam. The test is of 120 minutes in duration wherein candidates need to attempt 120 objective and subject questions. Candidates can select their test day as per their convenience.

Step 4: Check GNIHM JET Result

Candidates are informed about GNIHM JET result on their registered email ID.
