Being under the umbrella of Delhi University, Hindu College has a life of its own. The college is known to conduct multiple fests throughout the year. Admission to all the courses is entrance-based. While Hindu College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. Hindu College BCom (Hons) admissions are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Only after appearing for CUET, a candidate can apply for DU's Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS). Hence, interested canidated should take a note of the following two important dates:

2. Last date to register for CSAS (typically in May)

Hindu College admission for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and Hindu College as the option. 

Step 3: The University will release the dates for DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories. 

• The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
• If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
• Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
• Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
• If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Hindu college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU colleges may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

Hindu College is one of the most prestigious colleges affiliated with Delhi University. Ranked 1 in ‘College’ category by NIRF in 2024, this DU College is definitely one of the best educational institutes to offer undergraduate courses in the country. Yes, students seeking admission to BCom (Hons) at Hindu College must have completed their Class 12 with the below subject conditions:

• Combination 1: Any one language from List A along with one among Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1 OR
• Combination 2: Any one Language from List A along with one among Accountancy/ Book Keeping + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1

Final merit list which is released by the college is created subject to the scores obtained by the students in their CUET exam. 

Candidates seeking admission to BCom (Hons) at Hindu College must have completed their Class 12 with the following subject conditions:

Hindu College BCom (H) selection is done based on merit in the CUET exam. After the exam, they must register for CSAS on the official website of University of Delhi.  They can do so using their CUET application number and date of birth. While filling up the college preference, the candidates should keep Hindu College at the top of their list. If the candidate manages to secure the required cut-off marks in CUET, a seat for BCom Hons at Hindu College will be allotted to them.
