Hindu College Admission 2026: Courses, Eligibility, Dates, Cut Off & Application Process

Hindu College admission for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and Hindu College as the option. 

Step 3: The University will release the dates for DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories. 

• The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
• If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
• Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
• Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
• If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Hindu college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU colleges may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round. 

Yes, entrance tests are required for selection in Hindu College. The selection for admission in preferred programme is based on the merit and the candidate's performance in entrance exam. The college accepts CUET UG for admission in undergraduate courses and CUET PG for post-graduate admission.

The CUET result 2025 will be declared tentatively in last week of July 2025. All of those candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET Scorecard online after its release. The link to check the CUET result card will be updated on CUET exam results , and the candidates are supposed to log in to view the CUET 2025 scorecard online. The CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that the candidates had applied for while filling in the application form. Candidates are advised to download and take a printed copy of the CUET 2025 results when they are released.

Hindu College, Delhi University is not expensive at all. The total tuition fee for BA courses are INR 86,000. For BSc, the fee is INR 87,400 - 93,800. Students opting for hostels need to pay extra fees. The hostel fee is also very reasonable. Hindu College admission for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes or courses is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). Earlier, the Delhi University admissions were offered according to the merit in the Class 12 but now after coming of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam, CUET results are considered for admissions. The competition has increased. So the candidates have to prepare well in advance for admission to various courses at Hindu College University of Delhi.

No, admission to all the courses, i.e., UG and PG courses, offered by Hindu College is entrance-based. While this DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the postgraduate courses is subject to the CUET- PG exam. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG and the CUET PG. Before this, admission to undergraduate was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU.

Yes, Hindu College Delhi offers scholarships to postgraduate and undergraduate students as financial assistance. Overall, a total of 19 prizes and 23 scholarships are provided to postgraduate as well as undergraduate programme students. Some of the scholarships provided by the Hindu College Delhi are Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships,  R.B.Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships,  Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarship, Rai Achhru Ram Scholarship, S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarship, Ganpat Rai Gopal Devi Merit Scholarship, and others.

Hindu College offers R.B.Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships to needy and deserving students of the college. Twenty- five scholarships of the value of INR 600 each, out of a donation made by R. B. Ram Kishan Dass, every year. To be eligible, students must secure at least 55% marks in the last examination taken and are not recipients of any other scholarship.
