HETC is a great college for B.Tech.
Placements: I am a student of 3rd year CSE and I've seem our 2021 and 2022 batches who got very good placements from TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and many more IT Companies and others core branch companies. However, you have to study well because the competition is very high. If I talk about percentage then that will be 65 to 75%. Last year, the highest package was 24 LPA and average is about 6 to 7 LPA. Our college students are more concerned about GATE exam rather than internships. That is all about Our College’s placements.
Infrastructure: Full Campus is not Wi-Fi enabled but you can get free Wi-Fi in the reading room. Labs are very good and classrooms are well maintained. There is a huge library from where you can get many books. As per our college, our library has a minimum of 7 to 9k books. There is also a canteen where you can have good quality food at low price. The main thing is that our college has a Bridge connecting the main campus with a big playground where you can play anything you want.
Faculty: The teachers are Highly Qualified and have answers to every question we may ask. They are very helpful and they provide us the best quality of education in online and offline classes. I am a CSE student and I can say that that the course curriculum is relevant but the University should make it industry relevant. Semester exams are hard for the students who do not study. You can get good marks (about 75-80%) if you study just a little bit.
Other: If you want to become an engineer then you should come to HETC. Not because of its education quality but because of its Fests, Sport events, Freshers, Farewell, etc. along with the education.
