Placements are good but don't trust the college website. Campus life is not that good.
Placements: Out of 160, around 90-95 students got placed on campus. Around 60 got their placement off-campus, and there's no TPU officer in the college. All the students have to struggle due to the absence of a TPU officer, which makes it hard for students to get themselves placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is new and seems well maintained but it's not meant for the number of students that get admission in this college. For 1st year, they put 2 students in 1 sharing, 3 in 2 sharing, and 4 in 3 sharing in every room 1 student has to struggle as he's got no table and almirah. There's only 1 mess for all the students. So, students have to wait in a queue to get food.
Faculty: A few teachers and professors are good but they lack permanent faculty. The college doesn't have its own director, whereas there's a director's house on campus. The director of MNIT Jaipur works as this college's director. The curriculum is good but the college needs its permanent faculty.
Other: Events and fests are good but not as good as MNIT Jaipur. You have to compromise with your campus life in this college. As the campus is only 100 acres, it does not have any good grounds for sports and events. Most of the campus is pure forest.

Ground details about IIIT Kotak.
Placements: About 93.97 percent of eligible students are placed this year with on-campus placements. The highest package this year is about 56 LPA, and there's no data for lower packages. The average package of the CSE branch has reached a milestone of 20 LPA this year, which is higher than the previous year, which was about 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies include some of the top product-based companies. Nvidia is also one of them. Almost 90 percent of students get internships from the CSE branch each year in various companies like Nvidia, Amazon, and Meesho. Top roles offered in our course are SDE at Zomato.
Infrastructure: There is a combined computer lab for all branches in the academic block. There is also a LAN and Wi-Fi facility in the computer centre. There is also a library, but not that good. The library doesn't have enough sitting space. The quality of provided facilities is quite good. Food in the mess is hygienic and good for health, but there are mixed reviews in terms of taste. Canteen food is good in taste and also affordable. There are also games and sports facilities available on campus but in limited amounts. There is a dispensary on campus for medical purposes.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and friendly with students, while some are strict. Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. Overall teaching quality is also good. Course quality is very appreciable because it is made according to today's industry requirements. Semester exams are moderate to tough to score and the passing percentage is about 35 percent or relatively low, depending on the subject.
Other: IIIT Kotak has been declared an institute of national importance. Connectivity of the college with the city is not good enough but manageable. The campus crowd is low due to fewer branches and seats. The campus is still under construction and not fully developed.

A good choice for one who scored 40,000- 50,000 Gen category.
Placements: I cannot tell about individual records because they are not officially declared. For the ECE branch (2025–2026), the placement rate is 98.08%. It is not calculated from the total strength but from those who qualify to sit for the hiring process based on their CGPA, which is generally 7–7.5. It is better to maintain around 8 CGPA for tech companies and 8.5 for core companies. The average package is 14.73 LPA. The median package is 14 LPA. The highest package is 47 LPA. These figures include internships, full-time offers, and PPO conversions.
Infrastructure: Labs are great, and classrooms are also good. Both have Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hostel infrastructure is decent but overcrowded. In rooms meant for three students, four students are allotted four beds, three tables, and three almirahs. For the second and third years, three students stay in rooms meant for two. Two students stay in single rooms. Final-year students get single rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but if you irritate them, they may not be very supportive. The teaching quality is good. The current curriculum is better than the traditional one, but it does not make students 100% industry-ready. If you study regularly, you can easily clear the semester examinations. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest. I chose this college because it is the closest one to my house based on my JEE rank. The future scope for ECE is good because more semiconductor-based industries are being set up in India. The college mainly organizes two major events every year, one cultural and one technical. The campus is not very crowded, but the hostels are. The campus is about 15 km away from the city. Scholarships are available. Satisfied with college.
Placements: Our college placements are good enough as they have improved a lot from last year. Our college average package was around 19 LPA and it increased compared to last year. As our college shifted to a new campus, companies don't know where IIIT Kotak is, but now after sometime they will get to know about IIIT Kotak and those companies would hire a lot of students from our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is decent. The library is small and it mainly has only academic-related books. Now the library is buying more books so that students can study. The hostel is somewhat congested. There is a ground but they are not perfect. There is only one canteen, so it becomes crowded.
Faculty: The curriculum is good and updated. There are some teachers who are good but not all. Overall, the faculty is good and has basic knowledge about what they are teaching. The semester exams depend on how well you study compared to other students. You can pass the exam easily, as faculty allow you to pass the exam.
Other: There is no fest as there are no sponsors, as it is a new campus and it is far away from the main city.

A shadow of MNIT, Jaipur.
Placements: Last year, only 30-40 percent of students got placed on campus, and the rest off-campus. The median package is around 8 LPA, but this year the scenario is much better. Big companies like Nvidia and Visa have visited our college, and most of the batch is placed somewhere in the 7th or 8th semester.
Infrastructure: The hostel quality is trash, 4 people are living in a triple sharing with a shared cupboard and table. The LAN is too unstable, sometimes it goes off for whole days. The connectivity to the city is bad too, there's only one bus that comes every 2-3 hours and stops after 6:00 PM.
Faculty: Most of the teachers aren't even interested in teaching. The teachers are dean HODs too, so they are always busy in meetings, and all we have to study by ourselves, mostly the curriculum has too many unnecessary courses like management and Maths in 5 different semesters.
Other: I chose this course because I thought I might wanna pursue higher studies someday. There's only one fest that takes place around Diwali, that's grab gravity. Since we are mentored by MNIT Jaipur, we have to take permission from them even for small gatherings like the Lohri celebration. There are no extracurricular activities. Scholarships are only government schemes and private schemes, nothing from the college itself.

Academically good but lags in sports and hostel facilities.
Placements: I am enrolled in a newly started branch so there are no placement statistics for now to share. Talking about other pre-established courses like CSE and ECE. This year (2025), CSE saw placement percentage of 75%. The highest package is 65 LPA. The average salary is around 11 LPA while it stood at 10 LPA average for ECE with 53.6 LPA as the highest. Companies like Amazon, Google, Infosys, and Nvidia are among top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Academic facilities are available regarding labs, modern classrooms, and a small library. But currently, there is requirement for more hostel buildings as it is congested a bit. Mess food is average as usual. Breakfast and snacks are good but lag in lunch and dinner. Medical facilities are not available so far. Sports facilities are also limited.
Faculty: Teachers are good in their field except few. Currently, started course is AIDE and it is definitely a very relevant course considering the rise in AI demand. It is taught here properly with regular labs to make the students industry-ready. Talking of semester exams, mid term exams are on the easier side, but you will have to put in effort for end term exams.
