GMAT score is one of the many data points considered for providing admission to IIM Indore. Given the emphasis on diversity, nature of work experience, educational background, statement of purpose, sponsorship status (sabbatical/industry sponsored) all these play a critical role in the selection of candidates. The admissions committee decides the cutoff every year. Currently, the institute accepts overall GMAT cutoff for providing admission. Candidates shortlisted based on GMAT score are further called for a personal interview round.

Especially designed for experienced professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills, and capabilities, Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) is an intensive one-year residential programme offered by IIM Indore. This course is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) London (UK). The programme is spread over five academic terms in IIM Indore campus and one International Immersion module at one of the top-ranking international university. EPGP consists of six segments. IIM Indore has released the sectional cutoff for admission to the MBA programme based on the CAT entrance exam. Students who want admission have to clear the both the overall and sectional cutoff. For the General AI category, the estimated cutoff was 97.

Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams are CAT,  IPMAT Indore, and others. Candidates applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exam. Then appear for the CAT exam. Those who qualify for CAT must appear for the WAT, PI,  and other selection rounds. After the Class 12 exam, the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is one of the most competitive admission tests. The IPMAT exam typically has a moderate difficulty level. The three areas of the IPMAT question paper are Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs), Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude (SA). It is evident that QA (Math) makes up a significant portion of the IPMAT curriculum. This test measures your speed as well as your ability to select and answer the correct questions. Exam content is dominated by higher level maths. Over 60% of all QA questions typically come from the Class 11 and Class 12 curricula. A significant percentage of IPMAT questions are from the calculus and class 12 maths.

The students admitted to the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with annual family income below INR 12 LPA are eligible to apply for financial aid. Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the IIM Indore NBFA may apply in the prescribed form as available in PGP/IPM Office.  It is important that they apply in the form taken from the respective PGP/IM Office only. All participants who have applied through the EWS quota but have secured the seat through general or any other quota can also apply for NBFA. Any participant who has applied through SC, ST, OBC or physically handicapped quota and falls within the above eligibility criteria can also apply for the NBFA.

GMAT is conducted across India, so, you have a wide selection of test centres to choose from. GMAT is conducted in 33 cities in India across various GMAT test centres. While selecting an exam date, you can choose the time of either the morning slot or the afternoon one. This can vary in the next attempt. The availability of GMAT dates depends upon the local test centres, thus, it is advised to start checking the dates in advance.

Candidates seeking admission to the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management of IIM Indore should submit their application online. Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 5,900 including GST. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode. 

For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Indore, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Indore are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The CAT form have to be submitted before deadline after which no application will be accepted. The exam is usually conducted in November. Students are required to appear for the CAT exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. CAT exam for IIM Indore admission is held in three slots.

EPGP is a full time residential programme with an International module, which requires the candidates to visit one of the top global B-schools. The International module is a compulsory module for all the participants. After successful completion of the one-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), a candidate will receive a degree in Master of Business Administration.

The total tuition fee for IIM Indore EPGP ranges between INR 7.50 Lacs and INR 17.60 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The aforementioned fee is only indicative considering it is fetched from unofficial sources.  However, as per the official website of IIM Indore, the overall EPGP programme fee is inclusive of tuition fee, course materials fee, student’s stay and food during campus visits and other service facilities, such as library, etc. Students have the provision to pay the fee in installments. Additionally, candidates also need to pay a registration fee of INR 5,900 including GST at the start of the admission process.
