For admission to a two-year MBA/ PGP course at IIM Kozhikode, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed graduation with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for MBA course. However, there is a five percent relaxation for reserved category candidates and they must obtain a minimum of 55% aggregate in their final graduation. Further, candidates who do not hold any graduation degree must score minimum 50% aggregate in obtain CA/ICWA/CS to qualify for the eligibility.

IIM Kozhikode offers different courses in which admission is primarily based on entrance exam. The major entrance exam accepted are CAT, GMAT, and GRE. EMAT is conducted by the institute for admission in EPGP courses. Below is detailed application and admission process for IIM Kozhikode:
Step 1: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria based on his or her category. As per 2025 data, the CAT cutoff was 97 percentile. The IIM Kozhikode cut off was diferent for other categories. Apart from this cut off, there are other mandatory academic requirements as well, this includes minimum 60% marks in aggregrate.
Step 2: Application Process
The application process involves registering for the respective entrance exams on the official governement website. The registration process involves the following steps:

The shortlisting is done via AIS (Aggregate Index Score). Although, the final shortlisting is done on the basis of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list is prepared on the basis of CAT(35%), PI(35%), WAT(20%), and Resume(10%).
Step 4: Final Admission

IIM Kozhikode MBA scholarships are aimed at providing support to both meritorious and in-need students. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria to avail of a scholarship. Find below details regarding IIM Kozhikode scholarships:
- For MBA/PGP courses, the IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship is available. Students who have earned admission to B-schools on their own merit and whose parents' or guardians' total annual income does not exceed INR 6 lakhs are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which is offered by IDFC First Bank. Open only to Indian nationals who live in India. Only first-year MBA students in certain MBA/PGDM universities' 2-year full-time MBA programmes are eligible to qualify for this scholarship. Each student will receive a scholarship worth INR 1 lakh each academic year.
