IIM Ranchi Admission Overview 2027
IIM Ranchi admission is mainly entrance-based. To get admission in IIM Ranchi, students must meet the eligibility and selection requirment. The eligibility is to have valid scores in last qualifying exams. The final selection is based on entrance scores. Check below IIM Ranchi admission highlights:

The IIM Ranchi application forms for admission to courses other than MBA is made available on its official website. Interested candidates can register for their desired course by following the below-mentioned steps:

- Register as a new user and enter your basic details.
- Get the email verified.
- Complete the form.
- Pay the fee and submit the form.
Selection Rounds
After the successful registration process, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of performance in the entrance exam for the further rounds of selection. The institute considers IPMAT scores for admission in IPM programme. Selected candidates also need to pass PI round and have desired Profile Score.
For MBA, aspirants need to have CAT score. Students must meet the IIM Ranchi cutoff among other selection parameters. Students need to register for JAP (Joint Admission Process) after CAT. This is the pre-interview registration process. Registered candidates are selected from the pool for the PI round. The final selection also involves considering profile score of the applicants (Academics + Work Experience).
In the case of the IIM Ranchi EMBA course, there is only one round of selection which is the personal interview round.

IIM Ranchi Fee Refund Policy
If candidate withdrawas his/ her MBA/MBA-HRM/MBA-BA admission, may get fee refund as per their withdrawal timeline. Based on the date and time which the candidate withdraws, IIM Ranchi will calculate the applicable refund accordingly. The refund of fees as applicable shall be made in due course and after deduction of the cancellation charges as shown in the table below:

IIM Ranchi will apply the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs). IIM Ranchi IPM is an integrated five-year course offered at the UG level. Students are awarded a MBA degree at the end of the five year course. IIM Ranchi Executive MBA course is a two-year course offered at the PG level. The first year of EMBA is divided into three terms.
