MBA at IIM Ranchi is a two-year Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management, leading to an MBA degree. It is a fully residential programme offered in full time mode. The programme is aimed at imparting theoretical and practical knowledge in different management areas. Admissions to IIM Ranchi MBA courses are done through CAT. IIM Ranchi offers two-year MBA programmes. It offers core MBA, MBA-HR, and MBA-BA courses. Admission to the PG level course is based on merit in the CAT exam. Candidates who clear the first cutoff have to participate in the selection rounds, including WAT and PI. The final cutoff list is published based on performance in all the rounds.
The interview process of IIM Ranchi is held under CAP (common admission process). Candidates who qualify for CAT are further invited to the personal interview round. As per an old official document, IIM Ranchi scholarship includes a merit-cum-means scheme. It is provided to 25 candidates, every year. Candidates belonging to reserved categories may get preference. However, it depends on the criteria prescribed by the institute. This information is as per an old document and hence, is indicative. The various Departments and Ministries of Government of India offers many scholarship schemes for the benefit of students.
