Yes, admission to BTech courses at IIT Dhanbad is only through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Candidates seeking admission must pass JEE Main, students selected further need to take JEE Advanced. Based on the score secured in JEE Advanced, students are called for JoSAA Counselling. Aspirants are offered seat based on their rank. JoSAA releases a cutoffs round-wise for students.
