IIT ISM Dhanbad MTech 2025 applications are closed now. A few more updates are as follows:
- The GATE 2026 online application process is now closed for admission to IIT ISM Dhanbad ME/MTech courses. The GATE 2026 exam will be held on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.
- The institute has released the 2023 placement report. A total of 1,154 job offers were distributed among the 1,082 students placed. Further, 234 PPOs were offered during IIT Dhanbad placements 2023, and 199 were accepted. The IIT Dhanbad average package stood at INR 16.98 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 56 LPA. In addition to this, 11 international offers were made. The institute has also released the internship details for the 2024 batch. A total of 536 internship offers were made and the monthly stipend ranged between INR 15,000 and INR 2 lakh.

You can get into the BTech courses offered by IIT (ISM) Dhanbad through JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains isn't enough. One must clear JEE Advanced to get into any of the IITs. The same applies to the IIT Dhanbad admissions as well. To summarise:
