Campus has good infrastructure and food but placements are absolutely bad.

Placements: I would say placements are quite poor here. Only students with the highest CPI get placed or are offered internships. As of placements, one might probably regret joining here. Last year, only 30% of students were placed while some opted for higher studies, whereas others were left without any option.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, as it’s a newly built college. It’s clean, and the buildings and hostels are kept cool. While there is no air-conditioner facility in the hostels, the classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. However, the buildings are a bit far from each other, so you may prefer to cycle rather than walk.

Faculty: I would say it’s okay. Faculty members don’t personally care about your grades. However, teachers have at least 7–8 years of experience in teaching and are graduates from IITs or NITs. Curriculum is well-organised. You get a total of 4 months of holidays per year, with 3 months for summer holidays and 1 month for winter holidays.

Other: Total campus strength is 1,200, so it can get crowded in the libraries and canteens. However, campus is expected to expand in the next 5 years, which should alleviate this issue. As for fests and events, the audience turnout is great, and the organization is pretty good. It might be slightly below your expectations, but overall, it’s decent.

You can enjoy in college.

Placements: About 60 to 70% of students are placed in EEE course, and some of them opted for higher studies such as MTech and other foreign universities. The highest package is around 34 LPA, and the average package is around 14.5 LPA. The lowest package is around 4 LPA, and top recruiting companies are Cred, Paytm, etc. Other top companies around 50 to 60 percent of students got summer and winter internships in various companies such as Google, Microsoft, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and it is of high speed. Many labs with sophisticated computers which have access to all coding networks and classrooms are large enough which can accommodate more than 160 students. There are 300 plus and 500 plus auditoriums for cultural and library is also available where we can access different books regarding course or any other books and a good and peaceful free space is available where we can do our work. There is a place in the library where group discussions can be done. Coming to our hostels, each room is accompanied by a maximum of 4 students and each will be provided with a study table, a cupboard, a bed, a chair, and near each bed, 2 to 3 charging pods will be given. For 4 to 5 rooms, there is availability of a washing machine and a pure filter ro water. It is available on each floor and in the bathroom and washroom. They are well modernised with showers and a 24-hour hot water supply is available. Sanitizers are provided in both the bathroom and washroom. There is a canteen in the mess block which is just before the hostel block. It is well maintained and you can get every item you want to eat. It is available upto midnight 3 o’clock. Our mess is provided with different items every day and rotis and fulkas are available both in lunch and dinner. Two to three curries will also be given and sambhar is served daily. Coming to games, for indoor games, there is a block named indoor common facility where you can go and play badminton, tennis, table tennis, squash, and weightlifting. There is availability of two gyms in this block which can be accessed by all and it is full of nice and sophisticated equipment. For outdoor games, presently, a permanent ground is not available but they provide temporary ground. Between two blocks, there is a basketball court. Overall, this is about the campus.

Faculty: Of course, teachers are very experienced, and most of the IIT Bombay lecturers you can find. You are free to ask any doubt; they will support you and encourage you to ask the doubts they teach. They teach well; they share the PowerPoint presentations which were taught in the class in the drive or Google classroom. The course curriculum is relevant to that course. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready, and semester exams are not easy. The paper level will be moderate to a difficult level, and evaluation will be strict and no free marks will be awarded, and the pass percentage will be around 70 to 80 percent.

Other: I chose this course because of my own interest in this field no force from anybody; however, it is difficult, but if you follow regularly, you can manage it easily. You need to study every day in order to be in the same phase with the instructor. Many events, fests, and scholarships are also provided, which you will come to know when you come here because there are not one or two events as I said in this context.

Infrastructure is quite good.

Placements: I'm from the ECE branch. The placements are not bad. The placement percentage is about 80% in electrical engineering. The median package is quite good, and it's about 18 lakh per annum. There are very few who went for internships last year from the electrical engineering batch.

Infrastructure: We have academic block which is concerned about academics. CLT-Central learning theatre, where all the lectures, seminars and most of the events are held here. We have KRDC-knowledge resources and data centre, where we have our library, which has wide range of collection. And large space for self-study. We have two hostel block and a mess block. We have well centre, an instrumentation center, indoor facility centre, common amenities centre, aquatic sports center, and other buildings that are concerned about academics , sanitation, etc.

Faculty: I wouldn't say teachers are top-class, but rather I can say they are quite good teachers. They have good knowledge about their respective subjects. My course, which is going on, is quite good. They are stuffed with reasonable courses that are helpful.

Other: My course is ECE. The faculty for electrical and electronics systems are very good. They have good and deep knowledge in the subjects. There are many events that happen. Many clubs related to coding, sports, music, art, dance, eSports, etc. are very active.

Good College with Good Placement Quality

Placements: About 70-75 percent of students are placed, with the highest package being 52 Lacs and the lowest package up to 15-18 Lacs. The average package for my branch (Electrical) is around 16 Lacs per annum. The college also offers high-quality internships. Courses offered by the college, such as programming and data structures, are relevant across all branches.

Infrastructure: Hostel premises are very good. The college has an innovative design and new infrastructure. The mess food is quite good, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are well-furnished and equipped with new technology in labs. There are also indoor facilities for games.

Faculty: Teachers are amazing, and the curriculum is relevant. Semester-end exams are more difficult compared to other private colleges, with a higher level of question papers. The grading system is also very good, and professors are highly qualified with great experience.

Good infrastructure and facilities including studies.

Placements: Actually, our college used to get good placements up to last year, but this time our college didn't get good placements. Not only our IIT, but many colleges haven't gotten good placements. I hope we will get good placements this year as our super seniors are talented, and we are expecting better placements this time.

Infrastructure: As our college is new, we have great facilities like a new hostel, new and super-functional classrooms, and everything new. We also have a good Wi-Fi network. In case of the library, the infrastructure is mind-blowing. At the start of our first year, we used to have water scarcity and power scarcity, but now they are resolved.

Faculty: As our college is under the mentorship of IIT Bombay, we have great professors from other IITs like IIT Mandi, IIT Bombay, and others. They are highly knowledgeable and helpful. The difficulty level of our semester exams depends on the instructor; if they want to fail the students, they will set a really difficult paper, but if they are too good, they will set a pretty easy paper.

Other: Actually, I am from the Electrical Engineering branch and the Electrical and Electronics Communication Engineering department. Our college conducts events like PARSEC, Sleepless Code Saga, and many hackathons, as well as cultural fests like DJ nights every month and other cultural fests.

Amazing campus life and hostels and study of IIT Dharwad- The best of 3rd Gen IIT's.

Placements: We have over 90% placement and top companies come for recruiting for all branches. There is on-campus placement with placement of CSE going upwards of 95%. And the highest package is 48 LPA and median is 17 LPA. If you want to get into an IIT with a very good branch, then IIT Dharwad is the place to come.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very nice specially CLT building is very beautiful it has very nice infrastructure, and UG classroom are like IIT Bombay, they are two acedemic block and swimming pool, and also there is transmit facility which has such good infrastructure that it looks like a hotel, The hostel has state of the art facility and is one of the finest hostels any IIT will have.

Faculty: Faculty are excellent. They are very helpful and highly knowledgeable. They are also very interactive and friendly. They will help each and every student whenever required and will also keep extra classes for doubt solving. The curriculum is designed by IIT Bombay. Exams are not stressful.

Other: Batchmates are very good.

It is the top institute for the cream students of the nation.

Placements: The minimum eligibility is 75% in 12th state board exam and appearance in JEE Mains and advance. The highest package offered is about 1 Crore, the average package is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 15 LPA every year. ABB Ltd., Havels, Siemens, Crompton Greaves and other well-reputed companies come here every year for placements. A minimum of 80% is required by students to get internships in these companies.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are provided according to the students' needs. It has neat and clean labs, library, and campus. Wi-Fi is available the whole day, and the facilities are too clean. A huge library is available with knowledgeable books for students, and those are really helpful with their further achievements. The quality of food is enough to eat to the health requirements of students. The mess provides different types of food every day. Medical facilities are available, and a sports playground is available for students. The college conducts games and sports activities from time to time.

Faculty: All the faculty members belong to reputed places, so they have high and deep knowledge regarding the subject. They are helpful for needy ones with extraordinary teaching skills. They are appointed through examination and interview. The course is curriculum relevant for students. It makes students ready for industries for future reference. Semester exams are not tough to pass with a minimum of 80%, with regular classes and studying.

Other: This course is really relevant to my passion and ambitions, and my interest in electrical and curiosity to know circuit diagrams of any gadgets and network. I think everything is perfect according to students' requirements, so there is no need to implement it in any field particularly. Every year, an annual fest like spring fest, new year fest, holy fest, etc., and sports like cricket, badminton and kabaddi are conducted in our college. Some types of scholarship programs are conducted for eligible students with top ranking in each year result.

I am satisfied with my campus life.

Placements: I don't know what percentage of students got placed from our course. The average salary package offered will be about 6 LPA-8 LPA. Maybe above 20% of the students may have got internships from our course. Top roles are not offered in our course, but they might be as higher as possible.

Infrastructure: The current campus of IIT Dharwad is a temporary one, and the facilities provided here are average. But I have high expectations about the main campus. The food served in the mess is also average. However, sports facilities are adequate, but the space provided for certain sports is not enough.

Faculty: Academic staff members need to be improved as they are not up to IIT standards. Many teachers in the first year are not on par. Labs conducted are also average, and lecture notes provided are average. However, other study resources such as books, etc., are enough to study.
