IIT Goa Placement Overview 2025
The placement rate recorded during IIT Goa placement 2025 for BTech and MTech programs stood at 93.9% and 80%, respectively. 166 companies visited the campus in 2025. Further, 83% students secured 6-month internships this year. Some of the top recruiters were Intel, DE Shaw & Co, Google, TCS and Accenture.
90.60% placement rate was recorded in 2024. The average and median package offered during IIT Goa placements 2024 was INR 15.41 LPA and INR 11.5 LPA. 161 recruiters visited and selected 116 students of the BTech and MTech batch. Out of the total 116 students placed, 98 were from the BTech and 18 from the MTech batch 2024. The average package offered to BTech and MTech students in 2024 was INR 15.92 LPA and INR 11.72 LPA.

3. Future Perspective: The third important factor of deciding the best branch of IIT Goa is to think about the long-term goals. If someone is interested in CS and have a passion for it, then choosing CS is a good option. CSE has a good future, but it’s stressful for those who don’t have interest in it. If a candidate has strong command on Mathematics, then combine Mathematics with Computers Science. Mathematics and Computing Engineering (MnC) branch at IIT Gaa trained students in Algorithm Development, Data Analytics and Scientific Computing. They have lots of opportunoties in the current market as well as in the future.
