Review of IIT Jodhpur in the physics department.

Placements: In my batch, we are offered jobs like research associate, lab technician, quality control analyst, and microbiologist. Companies that came to hire are mostly research labs, pharmaceutical companies, and diagnostic centers. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels provide basic facilities like Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and the main library is set up well for borrowing books. The mess food is just okay, but luckily, there are three canteens that sell delicious fast food. It also has a small sports area for games like volleyball, football, and cricket.

Faculty: The college takes its exam rules seriously to ensure fairness. Teachers put in a lot of effort, even though sometimes admin issues can cause a bit of confusion. Still, the learning environment is positive because the college makes sure to balance classroom learning with hands-on practice. Staff members know their subjects well. They are very cooperative.

Good campus and study, but more industry exposure is needed in the course.

Placements: I was in the M.Sc. batch of IIT Jodhpur, passed out in 2018. Around 50% students got placed. Highest salary package was 18 LPA, lowest salary package was 5 LPA, average salary package was nearly 8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and IBM came. Some got internships in DRDO and ISRO. Roles like research analyst and data job were offered.

Infrastructure: Classroom is big and clean with AC and a projector. Labs have good machines, and Wi-Fi works mostly fine. Library is big with many books. Hostel is clean, room is good. Mess food is normal, not so tasty. Canteen has some good items. Medical room is there. Sports ground is also nice.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and know the subject well. Some teach well, some are just okay. Course is fine, but a little more industry link is needed. Exams are not very hard if you study regularly. Notes and help are also given. Around 90% students pass. Teaching quality is mostly good.

Other: I chose this course because I like research and science. Course is good, practical part is best. But more industry exposure should be there. Fests and events are fun. Campus is big and clean. Crowd was mixed. Scholarship is also given.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in this course are very good, and Wi-Fi and classrooms are available. The library is not available. The food quality in this course is so good, and medical facilities are available, but sports and games are available to all students in this college.

Faculty: Teachers in this college are very great, and they are all too qualified. They have great teaching quality. This course is not curricular, but students are industry-ready. Semester exams in this course are so easy; hence, the pass percentage is more than 60% in this college.

Other: I am choosing this course; there is no wish to improve. Scholarship is available.
