The IIT Jodhpur JAM Cutoff has been released for Round 2. The second most competitive course was M.Sc in Physics, with the Cutoff of 477, for the General AI category candidates.

If not eligible for IIT Jodhpur, candidate can opt for IIT Mandi, with the linient Cutoff of 576. 

IIT Jodpur and IIT Patna MSc admissions are based on IIT JAM followed by the JAM Counselling. Admission to IIT Jodhpur MSc course is through the all-India level Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) conducted by IITs. The reservation policy is adapted as suggested by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. School of Liberal Arts, IITJ offers a 2-year flagship MSc course in Computational Social Science (CSS). Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 60% in graduation and qualify the counselling round to secure the final seat at the Institute. 

Students enrolled in the MSc programmes are not provided with any assistantship or scholarship from within the Institute. But, candidates enrolled in the MSc programmes can pursue external funding agencies providing assistantships or scholarships. Some of the scholarships for which candidates can apply are INSPIRE scholarship and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. These scholarships are offered by the government.

1. For BTech at IIT Jodhpur, candidates need to apply via JEE Main  followed by the JEE Advanced application. The application process for JEE involves form registration, form filling, document upload, and payment of the application fee.
2. For MTech course admission, students need to fill out the application for GATE through the GOAPS website . 
   MSc course aspirants need to complete the IIT JAM application process.
3. For the MSc CSS course, candidates are required to apply by visiting the IITJ PG application portal . To fill out the application form, aspirants have to complete a login ID on the JAM Online Application Processing System. 

The overall placement rate recorded during IIT Jodhpur BTech placements 2024 was 92%. Earlier, BTech placement percentage recorded in 2023 and 2022 was 91.88% and 97.18%, respectively. BTech branch such as CSE, Mechanical and Electrical branch recorded placement rate of 98%, 97.7% and 96%, respectively in 2024.
