Recommended to join some other departments.

Placements: CSG talents, Navartis, Goodwin recruiting, and Davron exclusively sourcing talents from civil engineering. They would hire 22 to 30% of students randomly. Top recruiters were paid off yearly for smooth running of the drive process. Also, placement team arranged skill development class.

Infrastructure: Learners from multiple regions of the country were continuing their academic journey at IIT Palakkad. The overall food cooked in the canteen and hostel areas won't meet the expectations of the students. So, most of the hostel students shifted somewhere and vacated the hostel areas.

Faculty: Overall strength of the students in our department was 32 which was above 40 on the previous year. Teachers were so manipulative and frustrating, especially in the time of fee dues. Teachers won't allow us to write model exams when we had spending fee payment. Teachers were more dedicated to the higher authorities of college.

The best quality facilities, placements and faculty are available for the students at this college.

Placements: IIT's are holding a very good record for on-campus placements. Around 60–65% of the students get successfully placed in the IIT Palakkad Civil Engineering course. The average package offered at the college for computer science was between 3 and 8 LPA. Various government and corporate companies visit the college for placements. Students were getting multiple placement opportunities at this college.

Infrastructure: IIT Palakkad has very good infrastructure for the civil engineering course. The campus of the college is pretty big and beautiful. The campus of the college is lush with greenery. College management offers facilities such as labs, libraries, canteens, Wi-Fi, sports, etc. that are properly maintained. The quality of these facilities is also good. A hostel facility is also available for college students. The food in the mess and canteen is also good to eat. Various sports and other facilities were available for the students entertainment.

Faculty: Professors at IIT Palakkad are highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the professors have good experience in the teaching field. They are giving their best for the students. The course curriculum at our college is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Professors were also helpful and supportive of the students during placements. Exams were of a medium-difficult level in our course. Various workshops and industry visits are organized by the college professors for the students.

Placements: The percentage of people placed till now is 73%. The highest package in civil engineering is 20 CTC, and the lowest is 6 CTC. The average package is 9 CTC. The companies visiting the campus include MNCs and foreign companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure they provide is superb. The facilities are up to the mark, the classes are well-equipped, and they provide 24/7 WiFi. The library stays open till evening. The quality of the food is very good and tasty, and they offer excellent medical facilities.

IIT palakkad : nurturing minds for the better world.

Placements: 90 percent of students are placed. The highest package was 20 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was 8 Lacs per annum and average package was 14 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters are. Google, amazon and ONGC, are top recruiters of my course. Almost 90 percent of students got internships in different companies. Managers and associate managers are the roles offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my college is very good. There are different type of labs and other facilities. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Library facilities are very nice. All kind of books are available in the library. Mess, canteen facilities are excellent. The food is very nice in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available 24 hrs in the campus.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Teachers are Ph.D. scholars. Teaching quality is very good and they gives us the knowledge they got. The curriculum is very flexible and good. It makes the students to balance all the things. The semester exams in my college are somewhat difficult. The pass percentage is good in my college.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 80.77%. The average package for civil engineers is around 10.22LPA. Top companies recruiting civil engineers is TCS, Infosys, IBM, ZS Associate. Many students go to software side. But in my opinion core side is also good .

Infrastructure: Faculty and facilities are excellent, 5 faculty members are reported as top 2% scientists from Cambridge University. Recently we got new permanent campus and quality of food is also good. Mostly all the clubs are active in our campus. I really like vadya club for singing.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful. All are highly educated from abroad and more talented. Teaching was good. They will shape and make each and every student ready to go to jobs. Semester exams were literally gard and 85% is compulsory. We need 7.5CGPA to get into interviews and jobs .

Other: Initially when joined in civil I am not satisfied but now really liking it because of the quality of teaching. We will provided with a lot of scholarships and extra curricular activities.

Overall, it is a good college, and placements are very good.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students are placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. L&t Infotech is the top recruiting company. Almost 10% of the students got an internship in L&T company.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere on the campus. We can use Ethernet cable in our room and labs. The air-conditioned facility is available in every classrooms and lab. One small library is available where enough books are available. Hostel facilities are good, and all rooms are very good. Food served in the mess is very bad. One canteen is available with limited food. Medical facilities are available for the students for free, but the hospital is 15 kilometres away from the campus. The college provides one cricket, one football and badminton ground for students. There is one chess club which is always active.

Faculty: Professors here are very helpful, always ready to help you, but some of them don't have very good knowledge. All are qualified professors, but teaching quality is not very good. Many times we visit industry and sites, so from there, we can get some ideas and experience.

Other: I have chosen a civil course because of my JEE rank. Teaching quality can be improved and can increase some practical knowledge. Events are regularly conducted, and one Petrichor fest is conducted every year. The campus is very good, and it's very calm and fresh. MCM, SC and ST scholarships are available here. In MCM, if your income is less than 5 lacs, then your 2/3 of the fee is exempted. For SC-ST students, college fee is free, but you have to pay the hostel fee, which is Rs. 25,000.

IIT Palakkad - Come be a part of a legacy in the making.

Placements: The placement was decent for the people who opted for it. A lot of people went for higher studies abroad or decided to prepare for UPSC and other exams. Out of those who SAT for placements, CSE department saw the best recruitment as expected. A few students grabbed ppos of CTC above 15 LPA. On campus, most of the students had packages equal to or above 10 LPA. For ee, ITI limited came as the major core recruiter. A few people got software roles in firms like HSBC with CTC staying around 12lpa. Mechanical department had a good number of roles in supply chain management with a CTC equal to or more than 8 LPA. A few students got software roles as well with CTC of 10 LPA. Talking about civil engineering, 3 people got software roles with CTC of 10 LPA or above, 1 person landed a consulting profile and 3 people got into core civil engineering jobs in both private and government firms. A couple of people cracked GATE to either go for M.Tech or PSU jobs. The rest either went abroad or are preparing for civil services.

Infrastructure: The civil engineering department has newly set up labs in the area of structures, geotech, hydraulics, surveying and construction materials. The computer Science department has two computer labs to accommodate students and research scholars from all departments. Similar labs exist for both ee and me. Special research labs are being set up for Ph.D. and post doc students. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled except the classrooms. Hostels are new and we'll equipped.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly from foreign universities. Many of them have GATE ranks under 10. They are available even late in the night for project discussions and assignment reviews. The course curriculum has one compulsory internship but the Institute promotes two internships and help students find opportunities in companies as well as academia.

Other: The sac is very active in campus. Every semester we have a sports meet. Cultural clubs have weekly sessions and regular events. Technical clubs conduct workshops and float projects. Students participate in all the three inter iits every year. We have an annual fest called petrichor. Scholarships and global youth summits are floated on campus regularly for eligible students to take benefit of.

I am satisfied with all the facilities as it is IIT.

Placements: The placements of the campus are good. This year, our seniors are the first batch to sit in the placements. The companies like Microsoft, Google, L&T, Rites visiting the campus. PSUs are visiting in IITs this year. It’s better to get placed from IITs. 100% of the students get the internship from our college. The stipend is about Rs 14,000 to Rs. 20,000. Around, 80% of the students were placed.

Infrastructure: Here, we have all types of labs. There are brilliant classrooms on the transit campus itself. There are Wi-Fi services 24*7 with the high-speed. The library is containing the number of books with e-library. The sports are the priorities. The medical facilities are up to the mark. The hostel Rooms are the top rated. Night canteen is also available on the campus. There are no infrastructure related issues.

Faculty: The faculty members are from IIT Madras and IIT Bombay. They are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable related to the course and extra-curricular activities. Industry exposure is in the priority. The course curriculum is up to the mark. Both audiovisual and the teacher students learning methods are used.
