IIT Patna- Emerging gem in Science.

Placements: There is 100% placement in the 2025 passout batch of M.Sc. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest is 6.5 LPA. Narayana Group, Infinity Learn, Physics Wallah, and Akash Group are recruiting companies. Not everyone is interested in an internship, and those interested got the internship, in JNCASR, IIT Gandhinagar, etc.

Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms with installed projectors and Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs with chemical, IR, NMR, XRD, Rotavapour machines. The newly built grand Library is there with 24-hour open. Double occupancy rooms, room size is small for two people, the mess food is of good quality, free medical consultation and medicine are available in the campus health centre, well-equipped gymkhana is available. For sports, there are basketball, badminton, volleyball, tennis, cricket, football, and hockey courts.

Faculty: Faculty in JEE and NEET coaching is good. All faculty members are very reputable in their field. They teach with dedication. The Curriculum is up to date and will help you find some jobs and clear exams like CSIR NET and GATE. It is difficult to pass exams and you have to be focused throughout the semester. Almost 90% of students manage to pass.

Other: M.Sc. Chemistry is dynamic, you have immense possibilities after that, like job, government job, Ph.D., etc. Maybe some courses in a semester can be replaced with more industrially important courses. Popular events are Anweesha, Infinito, Celesta, and Nebulla. Merit cum means scholarship is available.

A college with world-class facilities.

Placements: Last year, 94.87% of students were placed. The highest offer made last year was 83 LPA, and the average package was 31.40 LPA. The top recruiters are Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Tata, Reliance, and Google. Almost 75% of students got internships. The recruiters are NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, and Google. The roles offered are SDE and design engineers.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good and has a speed of around 10-12 Mbps. Other than that, all is good. There are double-sharing rooms; 3rd and 4th years get single-sharing rooms. The library is closed on holidays, but the self-study center is open 24/7. Food is not up to the mark, but good, don't expect too much. You will live in a 5 BHK unit. There are washrooms in each unit for students.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good and well-experienced, with high knowledge of their respective fields. You always find lecturers available to help you with your studies. The classes and presentations by the lecturers are well-structured and very helpful. Most lecturers are experienced and have worked in various colleges, mastering their disciplines. As for academics, it follows the modern academic structure provided by the government. The pass percent is around 95%.

Placements: The placement and Job opportunities are great here. Every year, many students get tier-preferred jobs directly from the college. Companies like Google, Infosys, Microsoft, Citigroup, Eaton Ltd, ITC, John Deere, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Mu Sigma, Nvidia Corporation, etc., hire students. The stipend varies from company to company for different courses. It ranges from 5-6 LPA to 50 LPA. Companies coming to our campus provide full-time placement and internship for all branches except mechanical.

Infrastructure: We have good hostel infrastructure with playing grounds all around. Rooms have sufficient space, and everyone has their own room with Wi-Fi unlimited throughout the day. It has facilities like water purifiers, washing machines, a common hall, a library, an indoor playing room, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college though have less experience but they are very dynamic. Teachers are very supportive, especially in the field of Maths and Computer Science. Teachers themselves give us very good projects to work on. They guide us through every problem we face in doing those projects and turn-by-turn analysis of the problems. Exams are so frequent that we will cultivate a habit of studying. To complete a course, we need to pass a quiz, make a project, and clear mid-semester and end-semester exams. Exams have highly intellectual questions. Practicals are much emphasis. The course curriculum is neatly designed to make sure that students learn all the important things without a lot of pressure. Many students here like it. The research part is also great here but I guess it can be improved a bit more. I always feel the frequency is low but we have to work a lot in labs in a single shift.

Faculty members are excellent. It has an eco-friendly campus and cooperative staff members.

Placements: Around 70% of the students from the M.Sc in mathematics course got placed in educational institutions like in Aakash and Balaji. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8.2 LPA. Almost 60% of students got an internship in companies like Flipkart, Microsoft, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided to students here are above average. Wi-Fi, hostel, mess, laundry, electricity and all facilities are in good condition. The mess and hostels are hygienic and safe. Our college also provides a huge gymnasium and sports ground for students.

Faculty: The faculty members here are highly qualified and well-behaved. They are PhD holders from abroad, which will help students in higher education. Non-teaching staff members are also very cooperative and friendly. The curriculum is up-to-date, and the teaching methodology of professors is also good.

Other: I opted for this course because I have an interest in mathematics. This course has scope in the field of data science and machine learning. Events and fest are organised at regular intervals. There are two scholarships for this course.
