Review of IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: The hostel has facilities like Wi-Fi, reading rooms, a recreation hall, etc. The old hostel is average, but the new one is top-notch. The educational buildings are very nice and well-spaced. Classrooms are suitable for all seasons. The canteen and mess food have improved quite a lot after the lockdown period.

Review of IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of my department are better than those of other private colleges that promise to offer good education but fail to do so. The Wi-Fi is available and has decent speed across the campus. The classrooms are now updated to smart classrooms in some departments. The hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls separately. The mess food of the boys' hostel is good. I don't know about the girls' hostel. The medical facilities are also available, but I have not...

Review of the IIT campus of Roorkee.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my department are very nice. Labs get updated every year and are very neat and clean. The Wi-Fi is also excellent. The library is very huge. Hostels of the IITs are a bit old but have very good service. The mess facilities are good compared to other institutes.

Pros and cons to consider before taking admission in this college and choosing it.

Infrastructure: The department and all the lecture halls have AC installed and a projector for teaching. The Wi-Fi speed is also quite good. Hostel rooms are also decent, and the mess food is also good, it has a variety of food options to eat from. In the first year, you get shared rooms, but after 1st year, you get single rooms. The hostels have a good vibe with 2 canteens and multiple small playgrounds.

Amazing infrastructure and faculty, fully satisfied with my college.

Infrastructure: All infrastructures are good and updated. Wi-Fi is present in each room. A big library with AC, 24 hours canteen in each hostel, and a hospital are present. Lecture halls and rooms are big and comfortable, with AC installed in each. Hostel rooms are of reasonable size.

Overall good college for the M.Des. in Industrial Design course.

Infrastructure: Students benefit from this course's infrastructure. This college offered a lot of amenities. Wi-Fi was available to university staff and students at all times. This institution had a large number of air-conditioned, fully furnished classrooms for students. There were several dorms where students could live together. There were also superb medical facilities at this university.

Students will have a nice experience once in a lifetime with their colleagues and professors here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, as planned in a well-matured way for future expansion, like clean roads with proper marking and signs. The new hostels are good with private balconies. Classrooms have fully centralised AC with good quality benches and a charging point for a laptop.

Very great opportunities, totally worth it and an IIT tag.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very impressive. We have everything, 24/7 open canteens, Wi-Fi everywhere. Each department has a separate area comprising many buildings, labs, spacious classrooms, and also a 4-floor vast library. Hostels are moderate to great depending on which one you are allotted, and mess food is great in quality but slightly bland sometimes.

Vibrant college life that you'll remember for a lifetime.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout campus (except in bathrooms), and every department has well-equipped labs (note that lab supervisors may occasionally give you bad advice, so be cautious). Classrooms also have good infrastructure, including teaching boards and projectors. The library is accessible except at night (it is also open at night during exams). Additionally, there is a 24/7 reading room. New hostels are very luxurious, old ones are decent. The mess food is very good, as there are various o...

A beautiful campus that anyone would love.

Infrastructure: Hostels for first year are decent but those of second, third, and fourth years are not good. The rooms are very small, and the washrooms are not very clean and are sinking too. The classrooms could have been a little better, as even some of their two and three-year ITs have better classrooms, and we do not have any synthetic race track so that's also a loophole. One more thing is that though healthy, the taste of the mess food is not good.

My college campus is very nice.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our college has the famous James Thomson building, which is famous across the country. The Wi-Fi is very good. Wi-Fi is available in hostels and classrooms. Hostels are better, but three students live in a single room.

Infrastructure: Hostels are excellent, with single rooms available. Classrooms are five-star and fully air-conditioned. The library is impressive, with all types of books available. The food in the mess is very good, fresh, and hygienic. All types of sports are also available.

My journey and experience at IITR.

Infrastructure: For our department/course, we have fast Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, and rich central libraries. Hostel facilities are decent enough with 24/7 internet. Even the mess food is good and decent. Medical centres are always available. Coming to the sports section, it is excellent and well-maintained.

Excellent but dissatisfied with faculty and course structure.

Infrastructure: Our department has many facilities including smart classrooms and laboratories. Classrooms are good they have all the facilities but laboratories are still developing. There are some outdated methods that are still being used considering them to be basic experiments. Some of them are really outdated. There is a central library which is very good well maintained. Hostels are good they have many facilities including Wi-Fi gyms canteens and sports rooms. The main problem is the mess it offers reall...

Top pick (overall):
👉 Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (Biotech) or Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (Mechanical)
IIT tag + exposure + long-term value is hard to beat.

If you’re 100% sure about coding/tech:
