Overall really good absolutely dissatisfied from mess and faculty.

Faculty: Teachers here are no doubt extremely knowledgeable and highly qualified but they are not that helpful. Most of them do not explain the doubts properly and they also expect that no one will copy the assignments and also submit on time. The course curriculum is slightly relevant it needs to improve vastly as it fails to make the students industry ready and thus many students have to prepare online to crack interviews and even company exams. The semester exams are really difficult and the grading i...

Excellent but dissatisfied with faculty and course structure.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced qualified knowledgeable and helpful. Some faculty members are really rude towards the students and some faculty members also do favoritism towards a particular community of students. They are trying to make it relevant they introduce some new courses like AI/ML and Data Science but they are still unable to deliver quality content about the course. The professor with little knowledge about the course is assigned to teach the course instead of assigning a good facul...

Excellent infrastructure, but dissatisfied with placements and internships.

Faculty: The curriculum is too vast, and some subjects are outdated, like manufacturing technology. The majority of the portion is related to old-style casting and holding methods, while newer methods like CNC machines and 3D printers are taught briefly, even though it is an advanced course. I would score faculty members 2 out of 5 because of some good professors. The professors are excellent at their craft, but they should listen to the students’ needs more. Exams are tough, but from a teacher’s point o...

Sometimes, prioritize college over the desire.

Faculty: Faculty members of my department are okay, they have proper knowledge and skills regarding their courses, which is very helpful for the students to clear. They teach from the very basic to the advanced level. The course is not helpful for getting industry ready. Semester exams are easy to moderate, with a level 90% of the students pass.

A short review of IIT Roorkee and its earth science department.

Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful and friendly in nature. They are pretty qualified and knowledgeable as well. Doubt-solving sessions are also conducted. The course curriculum is relevant but mostly depends on student's focus and interest whether he or she is industry-ready or not.

IIT Roorkee - The IIT of your dreams.

Faculty: Course Curriculum is relevant for the most part, and it does make students industry-ready, though more practical knowledge is needed. Teachers are very knowledgeable, but some professors don't interact that much, which is the case in every college, still, overall, good professors. Semester exams are average to above average here. The pass grade for a course is 4.

I am satisfied with the campus and faculty. The core placements are not satisfactory.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. If we want to do further studies, then it is one of the best courses. Semester exams are easy to pass. Almost all students pass exams.

Review of Roorkee IIT for the Post Graduate Diploma in Hydrology course.

Faculty: Professors are very intelligent and very helpful to students. They provide more knowledge of multiple sources. This course is practical, so teachers are different for it and not the same as theoretical subjects. This course is a total of 2 years in duration. There are 2 semester exams, and they are very difficult.

It is the best college with a gate to Himalayas.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very interested in research. The quality of teaching is okay. The course curriculum is not highly relevant. Exams are full of difficulty and not so difficult to make us depressed. Relatively marking is there to help students. If a student fails, then they get a chance for a re-exam without any sort of issues. The best part of the exam is that it gets over in 2-3 days, and does not stretch to 1 month like other colleges, so students get ample time for extracurricular acti...

Academics, campus, and placements - IITR ECE Review.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with most holding PhDs and conducting active research. They are helpful and very approachable. The curriculum is a bit tough, but can be cracked easily if you are a regular student. It’s very relevant. Exams are moderately difficult and focus more on conceptual questions. The pass percentage is very high at our institute.

IIT Roorkee is heaven for me.

Faculty: All teachers are very good. They are highly qualified as well as interactive. Our course is very relevant, and its relevance is increasing because of the upcoming merger of biotech and AI. The future is moving towards sustainable development and a healthier lifestyle, so the relevance of our degree is rapidly increasing.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the best faculty members and infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is very relevant, very useful in the future, and even interesting. There will be tutorials for 20-30 students to explain doubts regarding the lectures by PhD students. Semester exams are a bit difficult and the pass percentage is 90%.

Students will experience a very interesting life here with good placements.

Faculty: First of all, it is IIT and it is the top among the top 6 IITs, so I don't know about curriculum and courses. Professors are there to help us any time. They are ready at any time to clarify our doubts. They don't even hesitate how many we ask and we can do projects under their guidance.
