Review of IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology.

Faculty: All my teachers have graduated from either IITs or from reputed institutions outside India. Many of them are active research paper workers. The course curriculum of all branches is highly recommended and relevant. Semester exams are a bit hard. If students have the basic and core knowledge of the subject, then they can perform well.

Review of IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology.

Faculty: Teachers of my department are highly educated and experienced. The teaching quality of all my department teachers is top-notch. All of them try to make us understand a topic in the best possible way. The course curriculum is obviously very much relevant. The students become highly industry-ready with this curriculum. The semester exams, according to me, are neither so easy nor so difficult. It brings me joy whenever they occur, and I feel they try to bring out the best in me. The passing percent...

Pros and cons to consider before taking admission in this college and choosing it.

Faculty: All the teachers are mostly from an IIT or have completed their Doctorate from a reputed foreign university, with a good amount of experience. They are helpful too, exceptions are there too. The curriculum keeps changing as per the requirements of the industry. Exams are really tough as we move forward in the course, even getting an average 7 SG takes a lot of hard work.

Amazing infrastructure and faculty, fully satisfied with my college.

Faculty: All professors are good and experts in their field. They teach well. After lectures, tutorial classes by a teaching assistant are held to solve discussion problems and doubts. Curriculum is up-to-date and makes one industry-ready as well as fit for higher studies.

Vibrant college life that you'll remember for a lifetime.

Faculty: Professors are knowledgeable but can't deliver well enough to be understood by everyone. You have to learn from the side to be industry-ready, and it's possible as the peer group is supportive. 1st semester is common for everyone, so your understanding of Physics and Maths would decide toughness, then onwards, core courses decide, like GT has an easy course (as I listen from seniors). Most of the students pass, with around 2-3 percent having a backlog.

A beautiful campus that anyone would love.

Faculty: Faculty, except for a few, are not up to the mark. I mean, they have the knowledge, they are well qualified, but they usually lack the ability to explain it to the students properly. Only a few professors are good at this. The course curriculum is quite relevant, and the difficulty level was also quite good, considering the fact that we are IITians.

My college campus is very nice.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Their teaching style is nice, but some teachers are not good, and their voice does not reach the back of the class. Semester exams are very difficult and not easy to pass. They are similar to previous year papers, and students cannot score well by studying only one night before.

Absolutely satisfied. Placements are very good, which makes this a perfect Tier 1 college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and understanding. They provide 24-hour support. Teachers are of high quality and have master’s degrees in their subjects. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready, and companies are impressed by our college students. Semester exams are very hard. You have to be consistent in your studies to score well.

My journey and experience at IITR.

Faculty: The teaching staff is highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is concept-oriented and very practical. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. Semester exams are tough, but grading is very fair. The pass percentage is around 98% with regular attendance and effort.

Excellent but dissatisfied with faculty and course structure.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced qualified knowledgeable and helpful. Some faculty members are really rude towards the students and some faculty members also do favoritism towards a particular community of students. They are trying to make it relevant they introduce some new courses like AI/ML and Data Science but they are still unable to deliver quality content about the course. The professor with little knowledge about the course is assigned to teach the course instead of assigning a good facul...

Excellent infrastructure, but dissatisfied with placements and internships.

Faculty: The curriculum is too vast, and some subjects are outdated, like manufacturing technology. The majority of the portion is related to old-style casting and holding methods, while newer methods like CNC machines and 3D printers are taught briefly, even though it is an advanced course. I would score faculty members 2 out of 5 because of some good professors. The professors are excellent at their craft, but they should listen to the students’ needs more. Exams are tough, but from a teacher’s point o...

A short review of IIT Roorkee and its earth science department.

Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful and friendly in nature. They are pretty qualified and knowledgeable as well. Doubt-solving sessions are also conducted. The course curriculum is relevant but mostly depends on student's focus and interest whether he or she is industry-ready or not.

IIT Roorkee - The IIT of your dreams.

Faculty: Course Curriculum is relevant for the most part, and it does make students industry-ready, though more practical knowledge is needed. Teachers are very knowledgeable, but some professors don't interact that much, which is the case in every college, still, overall, good professors. Semester exams are average to above average here. The pass grade for a course is 4.
