It provided good placements in 2024, good infrastructure, and amazing senior-junior interaction.
Placements: Placements in chemical engineering were decent. Students got placed in core, product management, consulting, and even IT fields. Last year, the placement percentage was around 85 percent. The average package offered was 8 LPA. The highest package ranges from 10-12 LPA. Major companies that hire students are Amazon, ZS Associate, Piramal Finance, JSW Group, Reliance, Park+, and Tata Power. ZS Associate recruited 4 students with a package of 22.5 LPA in the domain of analytics. Amazon hires 2 students in the domain of management with a package of 30.5 LPA. In terms of internships, the condition was not very good. Very few students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty decent. The infrastructure of the sports complex is very good. There are proper facilities for most of the sports like badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, and basketball. There are a few restaurants inside the campus. There is a dispensary for first aid. Ambulance is available 24x7. Food quality is satisfactory. A proper LAN facility is available in every room. The library is old but quite huge. Classrooms for the new batch of 1st year are really good. Most of the departments have their own building, except ECE and a few new branches.
Faculty: Few teachers are helpful, especially my Maths teacher. Teaching quality is pretty good. We will definitely have a few teachers who are very extraordinary. The course curriculum is relevant, but there is some outdated curriculum, especially in 1st year. Semester exams get difficult in the 2nd year. In 1st year, exams are not that tough, but we need to study at least one week prior to exams.
Other: I chose this course because I got it with my rank, and it is the best option. In terms of placements in core branches, it is much better than other tier 2 NITs. Campus life is also very good. There are three major fests named Maffick, E-Summit, and Tooryanad. There are several clubs that host severe events and contests. A lot of events keep happening on the campus.

The college has decent placement, a fine atmosphere, and a curriculum.
Placements: Last year, the placement record was around 86% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 30.5 LPA. The average is 13 LPA. Students from the chemical department got placed in tech, non-tech, and core fields.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities: There are good hostels with double-seater accommodations (for boys). The hostel has a digital library, an air-conditioned sports complex, a bus service, permission to keep bicycles, access to vending machines inside the hostel, a Nescafe cafeteria, a LAN facility, and common restrooms. Hostel rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The college has a library and decent classrooms, and classes are held in NTB. 1st year syllabus is easy. There are decent labs for every subject.
Faculty: Exams are taken three times in one semester mini 10 marks, mid 20 marks, end 40 marks and the rest are internal. Attendance also has marks

Best college in academics but good at extracurricular.
Placements: In my course, the percentage of students who get placed is 70%. Top core companies like BPCL, HPCL, Chambal fertilizer, IOCL, and Reliance visited our college. Non-core companies are Deloitte, Flipkart, KPMG, Tata, Wipro, and M&M. Top roles offered are process engineer, production engineer, safety engineer, and R&D engineer. The highest package is 23 LPA. The average salary is 11 LPA. The lowest salary is 5 LPA. Around 60% of students got internships, either through campus or external sources companies are Tata, Reliance, ZS, EY, IOCL, and BPCL.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-ventilated, equipped with projectors, and whiteboards. Labs are well-equipped for all subjects. Wi-Fi and library are available and well-maintained. MANIT has the central India's the largest library. Hostels are also well-maintained but have double occupancy. Wi-Fi at the hostel does not work properly. Mess quality is not so good and food quality is decent. There is no separate mess for veg and non-veg. Medical facilities are good. There is a dispensary at this college and an ambulance comes immediately on call. There is a very good sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful but strict as well all are Ph.D. They teach very well. You may find it difficult to understand as they are not friendly. But you have to achieve good marks if you focus in class. I feel the course curriculum is not so good. Semester exams are not so difficult to pass and passing marks are 33%.
Other: I chose the course because I did not have an interest in coding and also I like scaling chemical processes at the industry level. The best thing about the course is that it makes you understand the science behind the things you use on a daily basis. I think practical knowledge can be improved. Events and fests are so good. The connectivity is a little annoying. Campus is very big. There is a lot of greenery, and good scholarships are available as it is a national level institute.

My academic journey has been a profound expedition of self growth.
Placements: The placement opportunities at my college are quite favorable with an overall average of approximately 15 LPA-16 LPA which is commendable. For my specific course, the placement rate stands at 85% with an average salary of 10 LPA-11 LPA. The highest package offered reached about 32 LPA provided by Park+ while notable recruiters include BPCL and HPCL. Students have the option to pursue off-campus placement with other companies, apply for the GATE examination for further studies in chemical engineering, or seek employment in public sector undertakings PSUs.
Infrastructure: The class size of my course is 78, the facilities provided by our department are very good they have labs which help us to connect with real-life examples. Infrastructure is very good all classrooms are managed properly with good Wi-Fi connectivity. There are a number of books provided in the library from literature to academics. The infrastructure of hostel rooms is very good and has separate LAN connections with high internet speed. The quality of food in the mess is also very good. Free medical facility and a large sports complex.
Faculty: All faculty members are very approachable and always ready to help. All the faculty have 15-20 years of experience in teaching. They deliver their lecture in a very smooth way and easy to understand. The course is very relevant to what is required in the industry. This curriculum prepares us very well for industries as our faculty takes us on industrial visits to learn about how industries work. There are three theoretical exams whose difficulty level is moderate and it depends upon students interest and understanding. The pass percentage decides relatively to the topper mark, generally 35% of the topper mark.
Other: This course closely relates to sectors like food, energy, and pharmaceuticals, which have caught my attention and provided employment opportunities routes to various sectors. Even though we have labs, the majority of what we learn is theoretical, thus I believe we should given more hands-on practical experience. The names of the fests and events are Tooryanaad, Maffick, e-summit, and Technosearch and they are held in September, October, February, and March. There are many scholarships offered by the state and central government as well as private sectors.

My college review journey of personal growth.
Placements: Placements at my college are quite good. The overall average is about 15-16 LPA, which is quite good, and for my course, the placement percentage is about 85%. The average package is 10-11 LPA, the lowest package offered was 7 LPA, and the highest package offered is about 32 LPA, which was offered by Park+. Other recruiters include BPCL, HPCL, etc. Students are eligible for campus placements after the sixth semester. If no campus placements are offered, students can apply for off-campus placements, the GATE exam, pursue further studies in chemical engineering, or join PSUs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available for my course are good. Our classrooms are big and spacious and have all necessities like good Wi-Fi, smartboards, projectors, etc. Labs consist of many equipment, and the library contains a many range of books, from literature to humanities. Since my college has both management and arts students, the library also offers books on subjects like history, politics, economics, etc. There are also many newsletters, magazines, and journals in the reading section. The quality and variety of food available in the canteen and mess are great. Sports complex has many facilities for various sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. All of them have a B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. from prestigious institutions, and they have published various research papers and hold patents in their names. The teaching quality is above average, and the course curriculum is quite relevant. Learning subjects like CPT makes students understand industry needs and how it works, making them ready for the industry. There are a total of three exams per semester, which are not very difficult if you study before exams and pay attention in classes. However, if you fail to do so, it might be hard.
Other: I chose this course mainly because of my JEE rank, and I can relate to various industries like pharmaceuticals, energy, or food in this course, which piqued my interest. The curriculum prepares us very well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits, as our professors take us on various industrial visits to learn about how the industry works. Though I like the current curriculum, I personally think it can be improved by adding more practical subjects instead of theoretical ones. There are a total of four major fests, and the college has many societies for various fields.
