A good and skilled college.

Placements: A decent starting package is there for my branch like ranging from 3 LPA - 4 LPA to 12 LPA - 15 LPA with good support for placement and startup culture.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There are separate labs for each course. We have a separate computer lab. All important and the latest equipments are there. Smart board is available in each class. It provides a good Wi-Fi network stability but a little problem with the regular network.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is skilled. All the courses are relevant to the industry, and they also provide extra classes known as SIG for industry-specific teaching of the latest technology other than say. All teachers are skilled, and they all know what and how to teach so that a student is well prepared.

Satisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: About 80% of students get placed in my batch, with an average package of 4 LPA. Top companies in electronics include Microsoft and others. This branch is a combination of hardware and software. This course requires more research, and students can pursue both fields. They can go into software or hardware.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and our department is also good, with good faculty members who support students compared to other departments. Labs are well-structured, the library is good, classrooms are larger, hostels are good, and the canteen food is also good.

Faculty: Our department teachers are good, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and students understand the topics easily. The HOD is very good and helpful. This course makes students placement-ready, but we have to study more to get placed. Semester exams are not very difficult in our course. One can easily study the course and pass.

Other: Events and fests are also held in our college, and the annual events are the best. One thing I wish to improve is giving more focus to practical knowledge for students rather than just theory.

Overall, I like my college. Its great place to learn and enjoy. I am happy to be an IISTian.

Placements: Our college has really good placement results, with more than 90% of students getting jobs. We start getting placement training from the second year itself-aptitude classes and personality development without paying an extra fee. Most of my seniors got jobs in big companies like Infosys, TCS, Teach Mahindra, Zensar Technologies, and Capgemini. Even seniors who wanted to study further got into different IITs and abroad universities for their Masters.

Infrastructure: The campus facilities are really good. We have modern computer labs and lots of sports options. An ATMA stationary shop, canteen, sick room, hostel facility, and different courts. There are grounds for sports like cricket, pickle ball, badminton, football, etc. Bus services and many other things that make daily life comfortable here.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and supportive. We have a mix of experienced professors and people who've worked in the industry. They share their real experiences with us, which is cool. We get to work on interesting projects too. The curriculum is pretty flexible. We get to go on industrial visits and internships for hand on experience.

Other: I think I'm getting quality in everything for what I am paying. We have many events throughout the year like techfest, cultural programs, and hackathons. There are also extra activities from robotics to art clubs. Green weave club to cultural clubs.

My college life at Indore Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Our college helps students prepare for a job starting from their second year. It even conducts practice interviews to help students build confidence. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, and Xoriant regularly come for campus recruitment. Our senior students have successfully got jobs in reputable companies that match their interests and career goals.

Infrastructure: Our college has a huge preference that includes canteens, separate hostel buildings for girls and boys, faculty quarters and a basketball court. The campus has a secure environment for students and faculty members. I belong to ECE, and all the leads of my department, whether they are software or hardware-based are well-maintained. What makes our campus even more special is the supportive atmosphere created by both classmates and faculty members.

Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and encourage regular learning in addition to regular teaching industry experts. Trainers offer practical exposure, workshops, and internships to prepare us for the real challenges. Our college team recently won the prestigious Smart India Hackathon, and I was one of the members of that team. This is really a big achievement for me, and it became possible because of the training and guidance we receive here.

Other: My classmates are supportive, and seniors also help us in every possible way. This sense of community means a lot to me. There are many clubs where we can pursue our hobbies that boost our confidence. The best sports tournaments are held at our college. I really feel lucky to be a part of this institute.

Placements: In EC branch, 90% student are placed. The lowest package in this course is 2.12 LPA. The average is 3.12 LPA and the highest is 9 LPA. Top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. visit the campus for placements. Almost everyone get internship based on their performance. In EC you have to be alrounder .

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are outstanding. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library all are available. Excellent quality facilities are provided in hostel. Quality of food in mess and canteen is outstanding. Medical facilities are available 24*7. Outdoor, Indoor sports are there when you need a break. .

Faculty: Our faculty's explanation is excellent. They are available every time when you need their help. In 4 years in college, students are industry ready. In EC branch semester exams are quite tough because in every subject you have numerical and derivation. .

Other: I chose EC because I am going into electronic field. Best things about our course are that every week, there ae 3-4 labs practicals. Events here are outstanding. Scholarship fir OBC is around 30000/- .

It is an outstanding college with 100% placements.

Placements: The placements provided by this college are good. It is one of the best colleges in Indore. The average package offered was 3.25 LPA in 2021. Our senior got a package of 27 LPA from Amazon. Companies that come to our college are Wipro, TCS, Cipla etc. Overall, it is the best college for placements.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good, and they provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on time. They provide all the facilities you need. Whenever you need help, you can approach the principal.

Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. The toughest subjects are ED, M2, and M3. Semester exams are a bit difficult. The course is outstanding. My course is ECE, and our faculty are the best. They clear all our doubts.

Other: Our batch has good students. OBC students can get a scholarship of about 28,000 per month.

I am fully satisfied with teaching skills and placements.

Placements: Our super-seniors are placed in 4 or more companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest salary package was 12 LPA, the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA and the average salary package is 5.5 LPA. Robotics, IoT, and Drone are the most recommended roles.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good for classrooms, library and labs. Labs is most important for engineering student and it is also good as classroom. Hostel facility is also good because most of the students come from out of city and states. The mess, canteen, medical support, and games are good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful like friends and are frank with us. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are perfect as all the students can understand the topics very well. Course curriculum makes us study more interesting.

Other: I am Abhishek Khatik, a student of B.Tech, ECE 3rd year at IIST Indore. I have core interest in programming for applications and for hardware. I am getting enough opportunities at IIST, to learn, implement and improve my skills. The institution has different clubs like Signs (Special Interest Groups) and internship programs as per the interest of students to enhance their technical knowledge.
