This college is the best place to pursue an M.Sc.

Faculty: I would rate my Botany course as most relevant and good. I love learning about plants. It covers various topics like ecology and molecular biology. It helps us with jobs and research, and for students, it’s very helpful, along with internships. Some things can be made better, like having more internship opportunities, fieldwork, and lab job assistants, which keeps the lab well-maintained. If group work projects were included, it would be more fun. Also, more preference should be given to teachin...

It is a perfect blend of theory and industry exposure, which empowers future business leaders.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, very supportive, and very energetic. It is worth every penny, and the course is a self-finance course. The BMS program at Jai Hind College, Mumbai, offers theory and practical learning through projects and internships, with strong industry exposure and events like the Talaash for careers in business, finance, and marketing.

Enriching college experience.

Faculty: Most of the teachers of the arts stream are well qualified. They are highly motivated, and equipped with excellent teaching experience and provide a space for students to learn and grow by creating a space for conversations and discussions. The curriculum of the course is well-paced, and structured, which helps the student be ready for several career opportunities. Regular assignments and tests are conducted throughout the semester, which are competitive.

It is the best college life in Mumbai.

Faculty: Visiting faculty, comprising industry professionals, regularly come to college to teach different subjects in the curriculum that help us gain theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The B.M.M. course is very practical in nature, which helps us get ready for the industry. We are given assignments like making a short film, documentary, or conducting market research, etc. The difficulty level of semester exams is medium to easy. About 90% of the students pass all the exams.

Jai Hind College: All accessible college.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and good at explaining. They do make students industry-ready. Pass percentage is very high if students have gained the knowledge from classes. But sometimes since a bit of students are not from commerce background they face difficulties when it comes to accounting subjects.

I would say the campus has very good food in the canteen, and the teachers are all very friendly.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and educated. The exams are good, and compared to other colleges as well, yes, it even includes a portion of CA, which is a good part because it makes students very well prepared in communication as well as to gain confidence.

Fulfilling experience, great faculty and 100% recommended.

Faculty: I would say teachers were well qualified; most of our 2nd and 3rd year teachers were visiting faculty, which gave students a perspective and understanding of the cooperative world as well as application to what was being taught. BMS at Jai Hind was very unique since it was very hands-on and case-based, which a lot of colleges do not provide in India. The projects made us industry ready and having unique classes such as design thinking, business law and entrepreneurship gave us a full-rounded exp...

It is one of the best colleges if you want to be successful in life.

Faculty: Faculty members were helpful and highly educated. All teachers were Ph.D. scholars, lawyers, and authors. They provided practical knowledge to students. You will study in museums or some historical places in and around Mumbai.

Jai Hind College is a college for everyone .

Faculty: The faculty here is highly knowledgeable and very well qualified. Their teaching techniques are very good. There are two semesters in each year. The papers were of medium level. The marks are divided into 40–60. There is a 60-mark theory paper at the end of each semester, and the 40 marks are divided into 20 marks for assignments and the other 20 for MCQ tests.

Great placement opportunity and lots of events and fests in the college.

Yes industry oriented sallybus. Semester exams are made difficult with high level of thinking and real life problem solving questions. But not that tough compared t...

This college is worth it for the money paid.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is better so that we can understand every topic easily. The syllabus is relevant to prepare us for the real world. Both permanent and guest faculty members are great. Few speakers visit our college for doubt-clearing sessions.

I had a good time in our college and made friends.

Faculty: Teachers had excellent teaching skills and we could reach out to them whenever we needed. They were quite approachable and professional. This course helped students qualify themselves for further studies and industrial work. Exams prepared students in a manner that they were not only well versed with their basics after the course, but also they could work as assistant professors soon after the course.
