Placements: JCT College of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore has good placements, with around 80% of students placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 6 LPA. Around 85% of students get internships. In 2021, 94% of students were placed, with the highest package of 6 LPA and the lowest package of 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is generally considered average. The hostel facilities, including the mess, canteen, food, and medical services, are related as average. Wi-Fi is available, but it is primarily for lab and office usage. The library has all the necessary departmental books available.

Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and supportive. Many students find faculty to be well-qualified, with good teaching abilities and clear explanations. The college is seen as strong in providing theoretical knowledge, but some students feel that practical knowledge and hands-on experience could be improved.

Overall a little bit above average.

Placements: Half of the students got placed in good companies; actually, it's up to you because the ones with good academics are easily getting placements. You have to clear all your papers before last year. The highest LPA was 4.5, and the lowest was 1.5. TCS, Teach Mahindra are some of the recruiters. Almost all students get internships at many companies.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is just average, classrooms are okay, and the lab is also average; don't expect it to be too good. The department is overall okay; CSE is accredited by the NBA, so it has a little higher value than other courses. CSE, Petrochemical, EEE, and Mech are accredited by the NBA. Im a dayscholar who uses the college bus facility. The college bus is available to most of the places in Palakkad, and the bus fee is not that much. My friends used to stay in hostels, and in their opinion and reviews, the hostel is average. Don't expect the food to be good; the food in the hostel is below average. The canteen is limited with a small menu, but the food there is good.

Faculty: The faculty in my department are well qualified and knowledgeable. They're actually helpful, and they're good at teaching, but the only problem I've encountered is that the faculty changes every semester or year, like some of the teachers are designing from college and new teachers are joining. The exams are conducted by the university, and they're a little difficult to clear. Pass percentage is above average.

Other: They won't conduct that many festivals, but the ones they do are too good. Check out the college's Instagram page. You can reach Coimbatore city within 30 minutes. Public transportation is available. The campus life is up to us. If you guys have a good friend circle, you can enjoy every moment of your college life.

Good college and facilities are also good.

Placements: College is good and I was happy. Even though there are some issues, our college management will solve them immediately. There are many companies to recruit. Every year, many companies come to recruit students at our college. It is better to choose this college for your bright future.

Infrastructure: It is a good college and I have had good experience at this college. There are libraries, canteens, Wi-Fi and many labs for different departments. Classrooms are also maintained neatly. Every day, we have different items of food. Canteen food is also good and affordable.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and their teaching is the best. College life is good. We experience many things and overcome them. Different courses are available and many choose computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence and data science.

Other: Computer and engineering is the trending course in the market and it has a good future. CSE students with high knowledge get high-paid jobs.

Our college provides good infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Wonderful college for studies and placements. Good memories and good guidelines.

Placements: In my course, 70% of students are placed. For my course, the highest package is INR 16 L, and the lowest package is INR 4 L per annum. So many members are placed at Mahindra and Infosys. In my course, 80% of the members got internships. Most companies are offering roles in web development.

Infrastructure: In my department, there are so many advantages. In Coimbatore, our college is in 4th place in lab facilities. Classrooms are neat, and each and every classroom has a projector, and my library has lots of books. In my hostel, the rooms are very good, and the food is so nice. In canteens, quality is good. My college participates in so many games in the Coimbatore district.

Faculty: Our faculty are so friendly. If we have any doubts, they clear them up very neatly and peacefully. Faculty are everywhere. They are very qualified and talented. In my college, staff were planning industrial visits. They are planning it for 3 to 4 days. Semester exams are going well. We are all preparing well for the semester exam. My faculty are helping with our exams. In my college semester, the pass percentage was 70%. There are so many ranks in our college.

Other: My college has petrochemical and food technology courses. In Coimbatore, my college only has these courses. This course has many placements and also has advantages. In this course, students got the highest package. My college celebrates many fests and events. Annually, two events are conducted by my college. My college also provides scholarships.

I'm satisfied with our engineering college.

Placements: Many students from our college were placed in reputable companies like Ramco, Wipro, Sonata, Infosys, TCS, Amazon, etc., with good salary packages. The average salary package was from 3.2 LPA to 3.36 LPA and 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Food at our college is good, and students have a good opportunity in sports. In our college, students can participate in sports like football, volleyball, kabbadi, cricket, etc. In 2021, our college has two state-level achievements in football, and this year five players were selected from the university game.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, they explain concepts very clearly, and their internal exam level is very good. Our course curriculum is from the Anna University syllabus. Teachers at our college only teach students about what is needed in a company and which type of software is used in a company.

Other: I opted for the course in computer science and engineering because I wanted to become a software engineer.

I am satisfied because of our staff, infrastructure, and placement opportunities in 2021-2022.

Placements: Almost 65 - 75 % of students got placed last academic year. The highest salary package offered is 8.4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Infosys, TCS, CTS, and HCL like top companies are requiring our students for placement. About 80% of students got internships from our department. Project manager, System engineer, HR, and Team leader like the top roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Our department has 4- big labs. 2 professional labs, 1 common computer center, and 1 data analysis lab with good wi-fi connection. Up to 15 classrooms are there for our department. Our college has a modern library, and the hostel food is good. It has medical facilities for an emergency. Daily sports time is there for hostellers. There are many events in our department like JFINAKLES for new researchers.

Faculty: Good supportable staff is there in our department. Most of the teachers completed their Ph.D. in our department and were the well-experienced staff. The course curriculum is relevant. After completion of the course, students will get jobs mostly. In our university exams, questions will be in technical knowledge. We need to get 50% for the pass mark.

Other: I am interested in computer science engineering. I want to be a software engineer, and because of that only I have opted for this course. In our course, most of the students will get a job, because it is a featured industry. We need to improve the practical class in the computer science engineering course. It will be more helpful for the development of students' knowledge.

It is a good college to get theoretical knowledge but not practical knowledge.

Placements: It was said that it provides almost 100% placements, but we couldn't experience that in reality. Many of our campus drives were affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and before that, we got only 2 drives from the institution. As per my calculation, less than 5% of the students get placement from the computer science department.

Faculty: Faculty members are average with their presentations, but they are also lacking technical knowledge. If we have doubts about certain things, then faculty members are able to solve them theoretically but not practically. But I strongly believe that with the new course for AI the university will improvise in the practical sessions for the computer science department.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a great passion for being a part of any software company where I can get much sleep exposure in technical knowledge rather than salary. I believe we need the knowledge to withstand for years. Several events are organised by our institution related to department, arts, sports, etc. In each department event, only those students from that particular department will have access to be a part of it, but I think it is a wrong way because if other department students get a chance to visualise it, then only the event becomes meaningful and we will get a clear idea of every department. There will be a competition for each event to hold the top position in its organising method.
