Absolutely satisfied with placement, behaviour of the faculty members, and the infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college in civil engineering department is 90 percent. The highest package is 12 LPA (on campus), and the lowest is 5 LPA, that's how it becomes 8.5 LPA on average. Top recruiting companies are L&T, BEL, TCS, etc. 100 percent of students get internships in their 3rd year in different companies like ECL and HPL as well as in IITs, NITs, for research internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us labs, proper classrooms are there with projectors, and library for self-studies and books. There are separate departmental buildings, and each of them has different labs and facilities in them. Hostels are also good. Food is almost homelike. Canteens are available every 200 meters. Medical facilities are there. More than 3 big grounds are there. Volleyball court, basketball court, cricket ground, and all games and sports equipments are also there. I think our college is in a very good locality, and has a beautiful campus, it is just there is lack of maintenance.
Faculty: In our civil engineering department, teachers are so cooperative and helpful. Each of them has teaching experience and treats us as their children. They train the students to become industry-ready. Semester examinations are also upto the mark to check out knowledge.

I just want to say that the college is best for faculty, placement, hostel life.
Placements: 70% of the students in my department were placed last year. The highest package offered was around 7-8 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Several good companies, including L&T, recruit from JGEC each year.
Infrastructure: The facilities at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College are not too good and are quite limited. The same goes for the hotel here, where the only meal served is lunch or dinner; there is no breakfast. On the plus side, the hostel has good sports facilities, and the weather in Jalpaiguri is very pleasant.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and the teaching quality is good. They prepare you for the industry. The difficulty level of the semesters is average, and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the subject matter. I am finding the course to be challenging but rewarding.

This is the best government engineering college.
Placements: IN THIS YEAR CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT PLACEMENTS ARE VERY GOOD. The highest PACKAGE IS TWELVE LPA PER ANNUM, AVERAGE PACKAGE IS SEVEN LPA PER ANNUM, the lowest PACKAGE IS THREE LPA PER ANNUM. COMPANIES ARE TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENGINEERING CO. LTD, ITD CEMENTATION etc.
100 PERCENTAGE STUDENTS ARE GETTING INTERNSHIPS. TOP ROLE GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good and now hostels are renovated with proper way, and after that, it will be very good for upcoming juniors. LAN is provided in every room free of cost 2 times a month. There are 4 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel. Along with that, every hostel has its own canteen.
Faculty: Course curriculum, faculty members are very good and supportive, and very knowledgeable and helpful. They encourage students to develop themselves and to grow innovative ideas in their minds. Classes are regular, and you must attend 75% attendance. Along with that, question papers are at a standard level.

Emotion of Life.
Placements: Approximately 95% overall placements are there & top MNCs are recruiting from here and lot of core companies and non core companies are coming here for placement drives. For Core Sector - L&T, Worley, Adani, Tata Power, Voltas, SPCL, ITD Cementation etc. And for None core - TCS, Cognizant, Ericson, Amazon, Microsoft etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good & now hostels are renovation with proper way & after that it will very good for upcoming juniors & LAN network are provided to the hostelers at free of cost & mess meals are provided two times & along with that every hostel has its different canteen.
Faculty: Course Curriculum, faculty members are very good & supportive. They encourage students to develop yourself and to grow innovative ideas in their mind. Classes are regular & you have to attain 75% attendance. Along with that question papers are in Standard level.
Other: Campus life is the biggest pleasure thing that you will get from here. Is "Campus Life" .

Good infrastructure and fair placements.
Placements: Fair placements occur, and students get good placements according to their merit in the college. Both core and non-core students get good placements. Companies like L&T, TCS, Cognizant, and Adani come to campus to recruit students, and the candidates get placed with impressive packages.
Infrastructure: Detailed course, good faculty members, and satisfactory hostel facilities make for an enjoyable experience here. Though the food is not great, it's okay. The classrooms are not the best, Wi-Fi is not available, and the library has old and outdated books, in need of new ones.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and dignified, with good qualifications. Good grades are given, and semester attendance is important. You should be diligent, serious, and focused to score well in exams and practicals. Teachers are always there to assist you in tough times and help you overcome them.

This is the review of jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.
Placements: More than 80% of students were placed. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. L&T is the top recruiter. Basically, all the students go through vocational training. This internship is mandatory for all students.
Infrastructure: Facilities are excellent in our college; there is an individual lab for each respective department. The classrooms, labs, and conference rooms are well decorated. There are a total of five hostels, one for ladies and four for boys. The total number of students is about 1500.
Faculty: Average in exams. Exams were conducted in two parts and viva. It was a little bit more difficult than other government colleges. It's too difficult to get into this college. More than 80% of students passed the examination. It is an autonomous college, and the exams were conducted by our own teachers.
Other: There is a two most popular fest in our college one is SHRISTI and the other one is JECLAT .

I think this college is excellent.
Placements: 85 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package of my course is six lakhs per annum, the lowest package is one lakh twenty thousand per year, and the average package is five lakhs per year. 100 percent of students are interning in the nearest company. The stipend is 6.5 lakhs per year.
Infrastructure: Our course labs are in very good condition, and classrooms are very clean with digital facilities. The library has new and latest books. The quality of hostel facilities is very clean, and the food is delicious. Hostel fees are average and good.
Faculty: Our college teachers are very helpful in our studies and teach us using digital technology. They are very helpful and teach us very important things. They make full efforts to help us understand well. They teach technical knowledge.
Other: I personally like this course because I am interested in it. I think our laboratory has improved. Festivals are very interesting things on our campus.

Our college is the best.
Placements: In the non-core branch, many students got placed. But in the core branch, around 60% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 44 LPA. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: It is a government college. Hostel rooms are average, and the food quality is better. Every day, you will get non-vegetarian food items. Students will also get a personal LAN port. The Wi-Fi facility is also better.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. They do not get irritated by students, and they clear our problems. Teachers are highly qualified. There are two branches for M.Tech. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 40%.
