Placements are getting better each year.
Placements: The highest package is INR 33 LPA in the CSE course at Tekion. And the average package is INR 6.5 to 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies for civil engineering are Pinnacle and Ultra Tech. This year, only a few companies have come for internships at our college.
Infrastructure: The library is huge, with a lot of books for each department and course, and there is a separate department library as well. Wi-fi speed is not so good; the maximum speed goes up to 1.5 mbps for college Wi-Fi, but it also has Jio Net, which provides 1 GB of data at a speed of 4 mbps. The quality of the hostel is good. The canteen is good but does not have healthy food, and hygiene is not maintained. The college has its own hospital on campus (Jiet Hospital) for medical facilities.
Faculty: Last year the exams were difficult, but this year the exam pattern has changed, so it is easy to get passing marks by studying 3 units out of 5 units. The pass percentage is 45%. The semester paper was worth 100 marks, in which each section got questions from each unit. The faculty is excellent and helpful.
Other: The annual college fest is Resonance, held every year in March. The college is located on the outer side of the city, so for connectivity, the college buses are available at a fixed time, or you have to arrange your own vehicle. The scholarships are provided by the AICTE Scholarship, Coparate Scholarship, Government Scholarship, and Institutional Scholarship.

I think I had great time in my college life and the college and teachers are nice.
Placements: 60% students at our college were placed in different companies and other 40 % students are planning for other fields like government job. The highest package is around 600000 and the lowest package is around 300000 Pinnacle is the top recruiting company. 40% students got internship in private company and in government project. You get to deal with good and big projects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel is nice and, in both hostel and library, there is Wi-Fi available. In college, all labs are present in our college and also a good classroom. Full facilities are available in hostel and the quality of food is also good.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are very helpful and they are also qualified in their subjects and the knowledge of our teachers is very helpful to get students ready for jobs. It's not too much hard and not too much easy and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I have interest in construction line and also dealing with people. I think improvement in sports is needed. Events and fests are organized.

It has good placements, supportive faculty, and excellent campus facilities.
Placements: Our college offers good placement opportunities with reputed companies visiting every year. Around 70-80% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies for our course include IT, core engineering, and multinational firms. The highest package reaches competitive levels, while the average is decent. The placement cell provides training in aptitude, soft skills, and technical interviews to enhance student employability.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, computer centers, and a resourceful library with high-speed Wi-Fi. Hostels offer spacious rooms, clean washrooms, and 24x7 water and electricity supply. The mess serves hygienic food, and the canteen offers a variety of meals. Sports facilities, medical support, and common rooms ensure a comfortable and supportive living environment for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive. They use interactive teaching methods. They provide practical knowledge along with theory, and guide students in projects and research. Regular seminars, workshops, and doubt-solving sessions help in better understanding. Faculty members are approachable and motivate students to perform well academically and professionally.
Other: The college maintains a vibrant campus life with cultural events, technical fests, and student clubs that encourage overall development. Internship opportunities and industrial visits provide real-world exposure. The campus is safe with good security and eco-friendly initiatives like green zones and management. Overall, it offers a balanced environment for learning, growth, and career building.

Our college faculty members make this college worst..
Placements: No placement is available in the civil department. No civil core company visited the college. Companies visiting for placements are only IT companies and marketing companies, which also offer a maximum of 5 to 6 LPA. Most of the companies are locally based and hire at the wage of laborers.
Infrastructure: Campus is like a medium-sized school with a Wi-Fi connection at some places with a limit of 1 Gbps. In summers the campus is so hot, no proper cooling facilities are provided but they take a lot of money. Canteen is like a small store present at nukhad. Sports and games are only dreamed in this campus.
Faculty: Worst faculty in Rajasthan. Corrupted faculty members, and adjusted internal marks and attendance with money. No support for the students, even teachers don't have any knowledge, they dictate notes in class, and all you have to do is write without learning anything.

Solid infrastructure and campus life, decent placements, but civil needs more industry exposure.
Placements: Key roles are software and junior engineering. Overall, JIET offers a strong and comprehensive environment to students for learning and gaining knowledge. Sometimes students also get the opportunity to visit IIT and NIT and make students to enjoy their life.
Infrastructure: Our college has 24X7 high-speed Wi-Fi, labs, and specialized labs. We have one main big central library along with 8 departmental libraries. Boys and girls have separate hostels. Rooms include almirahs, fans, and lights. You can get AC facilities also along with balcony. We have proper security. It also offers cafeteria and has pure veg mess. Gym and sports are also available.
Faculty: Teachers have helping nature and are good qualified like M.Tech and Ph.D. courses. Core branches faculty members are amazing like civil and mechanical. Semester exams are moderately difficult but can be scored good with regular studies. Pass percentage is 80 to 90% with strong internal support for weak students.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in B.Tech. I prefer that civil is the backbone of all branches. Our college should improve by providing more industrial visits, software training in StaadPro and AutoCAD. It also provides advanced lab equipment. Events and fests are good but there are only 5-6 fests.

Q:   Is Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology a good college?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

JIET Jodhpur is one of the best engineering colleges in Jodhpur. JIET is the only engineering college in Rajasthan that is NAAC 'A' accredited. It is also among the best 15% NBA-accredited institutions in India. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.

AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   Is Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology Tier 1 or Tier 2?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology is overall a Tier 2 institution. The institution offers engineering programs and shares the status of a university with Bikaner Technical University, Rajasthan. While JIET is by no means equivalent to the status of class 1, like IITs or top NITs, JIET has developed a reputable academic curriculum as well as an emphasis on practical training with engagement from the industry. This will allow the college to attract local students for which it can offer placement opportunities in different sectors, though its actual clients are probably going to come from local or less competitive job markets as compared to Tier 1 colleges.
