KNIT is the best college for students in terms of money.
Placements: The placements of KNIT have not been very good in the past few years, and the college didn't provide records of placed students from the past two years. The highest package for KNIT in 2024 is 12 LPA. The placements were very low last year. A very few got placed from the ECE branch.
Infrastructure: The hostel fee at KNIT Kanpur is Rs. 25,000 for the first semester and Rs. 1,0,000 for the mess for the first semester. The hostel in the first year is 3 tier and is of two types in the second year. The students who score above 7.5 CGPA in the first year get a better hostel in the second year.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated. They have a very large network of alumni. Teachers are mostly educated from the IITs and NITs. They are very helpful to students. They support students in their academics and in other activities, too, for their betterment.
Other: The course is very good as many companies offer jobs in the IT sector.

Good infrastructure and decent placement.
Placements: At Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, the placement is decent. The average package is about 15 LPA - 16 LPA. Many of the students focus on off-campus placements, and some of them also prepare for GATE exam. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, and many others come for placements.
Infrastructure: College and hostel infrastructure and facilities are decent, not too good or not so bad. We get labs, AC classroom, and library. In hostel, we get a bed, chair, table, and almirah which are in good condition. We have Wi-Fi facility but not very fast internet speed.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful and kind in nature. They help students in their studies. There are two semester exams in a year. In each semester, there are 2 CTs conducted. The difficulty level of paper is also good.

Sultanpur is not industrial area. Attendance policy is not good. Placements decreasing year by year.
Placements: 50-60% of students were placed last year in Electronics Engineering. The highest package offered is 45 LPA, which is off-campus and offered by Amazon. While on campus, the highest placement is 15 LPA, the lowest packages offered are 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Almost 60-70% of students are offered an internship. Top roles offered are software developer, frontend/backend developer, system engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is only available in the hostels, not in the campus area. Classrooms are pretty good, with full of air conditioning and are clean. The labs are also decent, they have a lot of equipment which is used in Electronics Engineering. The library of the college is not so good, it doesn't have the books you want.
Faculty: The faculty members are pretty good, helpful, and supportive. Every faculty member has done or is doing a Ph.D. in their field. Also, faculty members are not so serious about the attendance, except for some. This course is relevant if you are in the Electronics branch, they have very high Hod, and you can also make your career in research, or you may also go for placement. Since the college is autonomous, papers are made by the faculty who teach the students, which makes it easy to moderate.
Other: The quality education with the best faculty members makes this course more good. I think they should engage the students in tech things. Almost 1-2 events occur in college per month. The fest of colleges is also pretty good. The campus does not have a lot of crowd, which is also better. Connectivity of the college is not good since Sultanpur is not an industrial area. Almost every student got the scholarship in the course. Students also engage in extracurricular activities. There are a lot of extracurricular activities organized by seniors in college.

Infrastructure is good, but for placements, you have to put a lot of effort.
Placements: KNIT Sultanpur has a dedicated training and placement cell that facilitates student placements. While placement statistics can vary annually, the institute has seen participation from companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and other regional firms. Students from computer science and related branches often have higher placement rates compared to other disciplines.
Infrastructure: The campus spans approximately 100 acres and includes essential facilities such as academic buildings, hostels, a central library, laboratories, workshops, and sports amenities. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped. Hostels have Wi-Fi facility and you will find food of good quality.
Faculty: KNIT comprises experienced professors and lecturers, many of whom hold advanced degrees in their respective fields. Still as with many institutions, the teaching methodologies and faculty engagement can vary across departments. As it is affiliated with AKTU, it follows the same curriculum changed a bit in the past few years.

I am dissatisfied with the fests that occur in the college.
Placements: In the Electronics Engineering department, about 70 to 75 percent of students get placed. The highest salary from my department is 40 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average salary offered to students is 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Reliance, BHEL, BEL, etc.
Infrastructure: At Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, the infrastructure is average as the college is too old. Facilities are good. You can get hostel facilities which are very good, along with mess and canteen. The sports facilities are also too much good, and you can play every game according to your interests.
Faculty: In the electronics engineering department, faculty is very much helpful and very sincere about students. They all are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very good. The semester exams in college are not too easy and not too tough. They are above average.
Other: The fest in the college is very little bit. I hope in the coming years the events and fests increase as soon as.
