Candidates cannot get direct admission in any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty or fellowship programme offered by the college. The institute accepts the scores and rank of multiple entrance examinations. Candidates must appear for NEET UG for admission in MBBS programme, NEET PG for MD and MS programmes and NEET SS for admission in DM and MCh programmes offered at KMC Manipal. Manipal Entrance Test/ department tests are also conducted for admission in the MSc, MPhil and fellowship programmes at Manipal Medical College.

The first step for Manipal Medical College admission 2025 is to fill out the detailed KMC Medical College application form. The minimum eligibility for admission to the undergraduate programme is Class 12 in Science stream and minimum eligibility for Kasturba Medical College PG courses admission is a Bachelor’s degree in relevant stream. Candidates must follow certain steps if they wish to apply for admission in any programme. Mentioned below is the KMC Manipal application process:

STEP 1: Candidates must visit the KMC Manipal website, click on the ‘Apply’ button and first register by providing all the necessary details such as name, e-mail, mobile number, state and must select the programme, stream and campus location where candidates wish to take admission.  

STEP 2: Candidates must then fill out the detailed KMC Manipal application form 2025 by providing personal, guardian, educational and other necessary details and must upload all the required documents.

STEP 3: Candidates must finally pay the application fees of INR 600 (INR 2,500 for Foreign/NRI/ NRI sponsored category candidates) for all courses and may be required to pay entrance test fees of INR 1,400 for selected courses only to complete KMC Manipal application process.

The KMC Manipal NEET PG cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MD courses for various categories under the All India quota. Students needed to secure a rank ranging between 4555 and 168692, according to the round 3 cutoff range for the General AI category.

KMC Manipal, through more than 45 departments, offers short-term, PG, UG, and various other courses to students. These courses are provided across the Medical and various other streams. At the postgradaute level, the college offers two-year MSc, three-year MS and MD courses to students. The various super specialty courses provided by the college are MCH and DM. At the UG level, the college offers MBBS course to students. The duration of the MBBS course is 5.5 years. 

Kasturba Medical College admission 2025 are based on rank obtained by candidates in entrance examination. To get admission in any programme offered at Manipal Medical College at undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty or fellowship level, candidates must appear for an entrance examination. Candidates may also be required to appear for Personal Interview round for some courses. The final round of KMC Medical College admission process is the counselling round.

KMC Manipal MBBS admission is made through rank obtained by candidates in the NEET UG. Admission to the MD or MS programme at Kasturba Medical College is through the rank obtained by candidates in NEET PG and M.Sc admission is through Manipal Entrance Test. Candidates must appear for NEET SS examination if they want to take admission to the MCh programmes. Department tests are also conducted for admission in MPhil and fellowship programmes. Candidates may also be required to appear for personal interview for admission to certain programmes at KMC Manipal.

The final step of Kasturba Medical college application process is to pay the application fees. The application fees charged by the institute is different for General and Foreign or NRI candidates.
