Good faculty members and poor infrastructure.

Placements: For the batch of 2023-2024, 89.33% of students got placed. The highest package is 44 LPA and the lowest is 4.29 LPA. The average package is 10.72 LPA. Reliance, Jio, Infosys, Wipro, and Deloitte are top recruiting companies. Top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and AI/ML engineer. A major setback is that most of the placements are off-campus.

Infrastructure: AC classrooms, digital boards, Wi-fi, well-equipped laboratories, and library are available. Medical facilities are not available. Food and water quality gets worse and no improvement is seen. Hostel is good but lacks security measure.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with good knowledge about their subject. The teaching quality is up to the mark. Course curriculum is helpful for the industry and placements oriented. Semester exams are not so difficult with a relative grading system. Faculty members are good and interactive.

Quite good placements.

Placements: The average package is around 9-10 LPA. Some top companies visit the campus. Interviews are usually conducted in online mode. We mainly get offers from companies for software development engineer roles, but other roles like data analyst, UI/UX engineer are also there.

Infrastructure: As we have a temporary campus, the hostels are also temporary. The hostel food is not at all good, but things have improved in comparison to last year. Labs and classrooms are almost okay. There are facilities for games and swimming, but in other colleges.

Faculty: Teachers here are very knowledgeable and also helpful, but the curriculum is quite difficult. Exams are held very frequently. Also, in between exams, we get assignments for different subjects, and lab exams are held in between the exams. Overall, the curriculum is quite difficult.

Other: No fests are held by the college, but the college conducts a hackathon every year.

Really awesome college and you can go for this .

Placements: In CSE, almost 85% of students have been placed. In ECE, no batch has passed out till now because the first batch will pass in 2025. The highest package is 26 lakh on campus but off-campus it will be around 50 lakh. The average package is 12.76 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Yellow Class, Jio, Amazon, and Qualcomm. 40% of students got internships. The top roles offered are Flutter Developer, SDE, and AIML.

Infrastructure: In the current semester, we didn't have our own campus; IIIT Kalyani is running on Webel. All the facilities, like Wi-Fi, a canteen, a classroom, a projector, and a library, are available and the hostel is also good. The food quality is above average and may be in January that we get our hostel in our main campus. The food quality is good and in sports, we have cricket, football, table tennis, swimming and many more. The college has a tie-up with Kalyani Stadium.

Faculty: All the facilities are very helpful and knowledgeable; they have published many research papers and we also made a research paper about the course curriculum that was at least 80% helpful in industry. The paper will be slightly tough because faculty want us to study so we can learn something and almost 95 percent of students will pass the exam .

Other: The best thing about the course is that the faculty is really teaching well, so we can learn and view the value of the course. Maybe CSE is better than ECE. We are hosting the largest hackathon in the West at our college, status code 1, which is sponsored by MLH. You can visit our website at statuscode1.ac.in. Also, in cultural events, we conduct many events, but Anukriti is the biggest cultural event in our college. No scholarship will be given by the college .

Try for other colleges first, if you don’t get in and have no other option, only then come here.

Placements: We are just the second batch of ECE, so no placements have started yet. The highest package this year was 44 LPA. Top recruiting company is Motive. Internships depend upon the skills of the students.Top role offered is that of SDE. The lowest package offered is 5 LPA. A lot of other companies used to visit earlier to recruit the students, but now it has reduced. Placements cell is weak as of now due to lack of a dedicated placements coordinating head. A lot needs to be improved.

Infrastructure: We do not have our own campus, the college functions in a small building. Hostel conditions are very unhealthy and hazardous. Library is small with limited books. Labs and classrooms are limited. Food quality in the mess is very poor. Electricity and other facilities are also poor. Hostel is located in dangerous area surrounded by reptiles, worms and other harmful creatures. There is no campus life here at all. Just come here to study and get a degree. Cleanliness in the hostels is not very good.

Faculty: Top notch faculty, quality exams with good resources are available in the college. Teachers are very helpful and give a good guidance to the students. They themselves are among the world's top scientists and are very good at heart. The course is very well structured covering relevant technologies like ML to make the students industry ready.

Other: I chose this course due to the high placements it provided previously. Best thing about the course is that it is well structured. A lot of things could be improved in this course, like more practical subjects could be included. Events were conducted less earlier, but now ample of events are organized in the college. The events are not of a very high quality but they are trying to raise the bar.

The campus life won’t be great till 2025, but the seniors and the teachers are great here.

Placements: IIIT Kalyani is a good college in the district of Nadia in West Bengal. It has a nice environment to study. The college has only 2 branches i.e., CSE and ECE which makes it less crowded and helps freshers to reach the seniors and faculty members with ease and flexibility. The faculty members have a great knowledge in their respective fields.

Infrastructure: Our college doesn’t have a campus for now but it is under construction. The hostel is on rental basis and the college is around 4 kms away from hostel. The hostel is pretty good but lacks a little bit of sanitization. Our college runs in a building with proper classes, library and labs for both the branches.

Faculty: Faculty members here have a great knowledge in their field. Also due to less crowd, the students can reach them for doubts or any help easily. The subjects and the course totally focuses on the knowledge needed in the placements. The faculty members also help in developing other skills by giving semester projects.

IIT, Kalyani, has a vibrant atmosphere.

Placements: We can't predict the average or the highest package of electronics and communication department because the first batch of this department hasn’t graduated yet. The first batch will pass out in 2025. The percentage of students getting internships in ECE department not predictable either.

Infrastructure: We don't have our permanent campus yet. The facilities and infrastructure available as of now are decent. The Wi-Fi facilities are good in the college but the library does not have enough books. The mess mood is not good and the sports facilities are good enough because we have a tie-up with the kalyani stadium.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful for the academic syllabus only. Some of the professors are really helpful, they can guide you for your career. The semester exams in our college totally vary for subject to subject, and the passing percentage is approximately 80-85%.

Other: Many extracurricular activities are held at our college. Our college had organised a tech event last year and a hackathon called status code. This year it's continuing the tradition of hosting another one. Additionally, this year, our college participated in the prestigious event of Inter-IIIT sports meet hosted by IIIT Allahabad.

Absolutely satisfied because of placement of our college .

Placements: 100% placement was registered in the year 2022, whereas in current year 2023 placement session was ongoing and currently it was 895 till June 2023. the highest package of IIIT Kalyani is 26 LPA, Median package is 12 LPA, Average Package is 12.76 LPA and minimum package was 5.7 LPA, Top recruiters of our college are JIO, MAQ SOFTWARE, INFOSYS, WIPRO, TATA TCS, Delloite Consulting, QUOLUM, EXTRAMARKS, SPARROW SOFTECH, NIVIDIA, and many more companies come here. I don't know the exact figure of percentage of students got internship but they were told us that there was necessary for all students to do internship in other 3rd and 4th year so I can guess there was 100% internship students got from our college.

Infrastructure: First of all there was no permanent building for IIIT Kalyani right now Permanent campus of our college was in under construction and our director sir told us that phase 1 (which include Academic building, Boys and Girls hostel Guest House, A Big Ground) will complete on April 2024, after that phas2 2 (which include Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Swimming Poll, Auditorium and other sports facilities) will begin to start construction, as of now our Academics was conduct in WEBEL IT Park and there was all the facilities available like smart board, Wi-Fi Labs, library Clean toilets, AC classrooms, Lift facility were available and our hostel was in BSNL hall of residence in Kalyani Simanta and food is good, 4 times we were given food Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks. Amd Dinner, there was a badminton court inside hostel and 3-4 equipment was there in gym in hostel and for sports facilities we need to go Kalyani Stadium there was an Tie-up between kalyani stadium and IIIT Kalyani and in Kalyani Stadium you got all facilities like Olympic size Swimming Pool, Cricket, Football Ground, Table Tennis and many more.

Faculty: The professors of IIIT Kalyani were well qualified approximately 90% faculty members were Ph.D. qualified from top notch institutes like IIT KGP, IIT D, Jadavpur University etc., and yes they teach very well and if you have any doubt after class you can contact with them they were please to help you out, yes our course structure was relevent and make students Industry ready The course was made like you will be industry ready till 2nd year and you can able to apply for internships. And the semester exams was not much difficult we have relatively grading in our college so yes there was and competition between students but approximately 95% students pass the exams.

Other: India was going to make semiconductor in India and Lithium ores were found in Jammu Kashmir, Rajasthan so yes there was an big future for Electronics engineer in our country and by Taking ECE branch you was also eligible to work in IT Companies, .

Absolutely satisfied because of 95 percent placement and good average package .

Placements: 95 percent students got placed. The highest package is 28 LPA offered by Goldman Sachs and the lowest is 8 LPA. All the students are placed with decent packages. There is a placement cell in our college that helps students to get placed from our college. The college brings good companies.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are quite good and satisfying. All the facilities are provided and mess food is good and availability of good drinking water is there. Hostel has indoor games facility.. Mess's food menu is given by seniors.

Faculty: Faculty are good and have knowledge. They are PhDs in their own field of areas. In one semester, two exams are conducted, i.e. mid sem and end sem. Exams are not much tough. They are easy to pass. The checking scheme of teachers is good and they give partial marking.

Other: ECE has good scope with availability of good jobs.
