Habibi, come to life, come to ju .

Placements: Every year all students get placements. Most of them wants IT placements so they go for it but still there are core placements available. Some opts for higher studies. The avg package is 10 LPA, the highest package is 25lpa and the lowest is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Every thing is fabulous in ju. Hostels are good. The rent is 25/month. Can you believe it? Yes it is true. The hostels are not so much up to date but still it is good. The quality of food is also good. Yes, medical facilities are provided here also.

Faculty: Faculty are awesome, after learning from them you won't need any extra notes. Their notes are helpful for GATE exam also. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students for industry. No, the semester exams are not so much difficult, if you study regularly it will be easy for you.

Jadavpur University - The best college in Kolkata.

Placements: Almost 90% students in my branch have been placed. In total, 80-85% have been placed. Placement scenario is very awesome in this college If you have a little potential then you will certainly get a good offer. Several companies visit our college including big companies like Microsoft and Amazon. The highest package was of 1.8 crore received by a CSE student from Facebook. Average placement is of 8 LPA this year, i.e. 2022.

Infrastructure: Hostels are available but for poor people only. Canteen food is very cheap and good. We can easily afford it. Classrooms are well furnished. Air-conditioned rooms are there. There is also a library where you can get books whenever you want.

Faculty: Teachers are very much experienced and helpful. They are very friendly. Obviously our college makes students ready for future. Semester examinations are not so tough. You can easily pass them if you study just for 1 month before the examinations. You don't have to worry about exams if you are serious enough just for a few days before the exams.

Other: I got this course because of my rank, although I have interest in computer Science course. But I opted for this since I know the placement scenario is very good here and I can do coding side by side. I can get placed in IT companies as well. The college life is very enjoyable here. There are time to time fests like srijan, sanskriti and many more where you can show your talent and enjoy the campus life.

It is one of the best branches in JU. Placements are decent, and faculty members are good.

Placements: The placement scenario of construction engineering is decent, and basically, it depends on the market scenario. TPO faculty members somehow try to make a big difference between civil and construction engineering branch. But I can surely assure you that there is no such huge difference between these two streams. The syllabus of construction engineering is 90% similar to the syllabus of civil engineering, which is just like CSE and IT. Generally planning and architecture based companies don't recruit construction engineering students. However, many construction-based companies like L&T, SPCL, ITD Cementation, etc., visit our college and recruit us. Many mass recruiting companies and software-based companies also visit and recruit us. Companies like Amazon, Google allow us to attend interviews in their companies. This year, until now, the highest salary package offered was 9.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered around 4.5 LPA-5 LPA. If the placement cell is fine enough, and the market demand is also good in that year, then around 100% of the students will get placed, which is quite impossible in the civil engineering stream. Students who are interested enough and have qualities, they can easily get internships. Many construction companies, consultancy companies and software-based companies offer you internships.

Infrastructure: Construction engineering is one of the important branches of JU. The main motive to start this branch is to make civil engineers technically strong and to make themselves industry-ready as they can able to face any hurdle in their job sectors. Labs are awesome, and they can also be used for research purposes. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned except for the 1st-year classrooms. Free Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. As the department is in Salt Lake campus, you will get CAB ground which is huge than the Jadavpur campus sports ground. There are three canteens on the campus. Sufficient books are available in the central library. But there are no departmental libraries on the campus.

Faculty: There are only 3 institutions in India who offer the construction engineering course. Jadavpur University may be the best among them. Our college has the best construction engineering faculty members of India. They are top-class and are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Almost 90% of the syllabus of civil and construction engineering is the same. If you go outside of India, the demand for construction engineers is higher than the civil engineers.

Other: There is also departmental reunion named Sthapna. Salt Lake campus is not very exciting like Jadavpur Campus. However, both the campuses are best in their perspectives.

Placements are very good, and the fee is low. You have to pay only Rs.10,000 for 4 years.

Placements: The college provides very good placements, especially in CSE, ECE and IT branches. Placements for electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and mechanical engineering, production engineering, and metallurgy engineering are good. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college is very well-equipped. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and the library is quite good. There is a CAB ground for sports, and famous cricketers visit our campus regularly and practice in our CAB ground. This year, Kolkata Knight Riders rehearsed here with their team, and Yuvraj Singh also visited our campus. We have spent a good time on that ground. We play cricket, football and basketball there.

Faculty: Almost all teachers of the college have their PhDs from IITs. All the professors are well educated and very helpful. They give you ideas about the industry and many companies throughout the country. Their experience helps us to grow according to the requirements of companies and industries. I like to be here, and I feel very fortunate to be here. You will enjoy your golden four years if you manage to join Jadavpur University.

Other: Many fests like Sanskriti, Srijan and Ciippus are organised on our campus.

JU FETSU is like the trade mark of West Bengal.

Placements: The average placements in our college are 70%. Mostly IT jobs are offered to students, and core branches like civil, mechanical, construction, etc. have a lack of placements opportunities. The average package offered is a bit high. The faculty members are excellent. Mostly circuit departments students get placed early. The average salary package offered in our department is about 4.50 LPA.

Infrastructure: Jadavpur University has 2 campuses; one is at Jadavpur and another one is at Salt Lake. There are 16 engineering departments on a total. The classrooms are fully equipped with AC and Wi-Fi connection. Labs are well-maintained, and the engineering drawing labs are excellent. An elevator is also available in the college.

Faculty: The faculty members are excellent, and they help us a lot. Every department has well-educated faculty members. They are friendly, and they help us in getting industry exposure. They have taken us to survey camps, and they not only help us in semester exams, but also for competitive exams.

Other: The University has many affiliated colleges. There is a huge campus, and scholarships are also provided to students.
