Strong infrastructure and better campus life with average food quality.
Placements: Around 80% students were placed last year. The highest package was of 20 LPA and the lowest was of 3.5 LPA, and the average was around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Bajaj India, Cognizant, etc. Around 75% students got internships in companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. Top roles were Web developer, system engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have 24/7 access to the library, and 24/7 Wi-Fi is also available. All the classrooms and Labs have AC. Hostel rooms are also available in hygienic and clean conditions. Food quality is average and depends up on hostels. Multiple courses and research Labs are available along with a mentor for guidance.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. Many teachers have their IITs, NITs, etc. with good teaching skills. There are some exceptions, but overall they are all good. Curriculum is relevant, but students have to do some other work on their own. There are different societies available, with seniors and mentors always ready to help. Exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is around 85%.

Good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in the ETAC (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) course is around 85%. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA, with an average of 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Mu Sigma, Bajaj India, Cognizant, etc. 80% of students get internship opportunities. Top roles include Web Developer, System Engineer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good, with almost 24-hour Wi-Fi availability, and the library is also very good. Coming to the hostel, many types of rooms, but the quality of some hostels is below average. Medical facilities are good, although football courts are less in comparison to other sports. Overall, sports are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and highly qualified, though a few exceptions are always there. The teaching quality is good, no doubt about that. The course is very much industry-relevant, and it has well-equipped laboratories too. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends on students and their preparation. The exams are not that tough, according to me, and the pass percentage is almost 94%.

KIIT through the eyes of a second year student.
Placements: Nearly 90-95% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, and Infosys Top roles offered are SDE, etc. The highest package is 23 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. A student possessing good coding and critical thinking skills gets an internship. Some companies are HighRadius, PhysicsWallah, and Unacademy.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are all air-conditioned. They have smart interactive panels and also whiteboards for a better understanding. Labs are not that well-equipped but according to me, it is sufficient. There is also a departmental library on the campus, continuing both hard and soft copies of electronics-related books. You will be provided with a mattress, study table, and chair along with a wardrobe if you opt for a hostel facility. The mess food is not that good in comparison to the amount that is being taken as catering charge You get access to the food court outside the hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite helpful but some are not. They will constantly guide you to succeed in your career goals. The teaching quality varies from professor to professor. Some professors give notes for better understanding but some do not. The course will not make students industry-ready but will make their basics clear about electronics. So some upgradation in the course structure is also needed. Semester exams for subjects like electromagnetics, physics, and maths might pose difficulty. But attending each class on your weak subject and not missing a single one will help to understand the concepts. 40% is the pass percentage.
Other: I took this course to upskill my knowledge in the field of electronics. Some best things about the course are designing analog circuits, PCB designing, and VLSI designing. KIITFEST takes place in the month of February which is considered as the annual fest of the year. Apart from this, KI3 is also conducted in December which is an innovation fest where students of all branches can showcase their innovative ideas. KIIT is well-connected through all types of road transport. Bhubaneswar railway station is just 10 km away from the college. Scholarships are provided to the ones securing more than 9.90 CGPA.

A student's respective - Life at KIIT University.
Placements: Almost 90 to 95% of students got placed in the year 2024. Top recruitment companies are TCS, LTI Mindtree, Cognizant, KPIT, and Deloitte. The highest salary is 57 LPA, and the lowest salary is 3 LPA. The average salary is 6 LPA. Almost 60% of students got internships from our college.
Infrastructure: Hostels are really very good. Rooms are very decent and the food quality is also very good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Separate department-wise library is available. Classrooms are also so good. All are digital facilities like smart boards and projectors. Lab facilities are very good. There are various types of labs available.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful. They are very knowledgeable. Course structure is really so good in the first year itself. There are DSA and programming language courses for students to make them industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it has both directions I mean you can go into software and hardware fields also.

KIIT definitely is a college that provides placements.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication. There are roughly 300 students in my batch pursuing my course. This year, from my branch, around 80% of students in my batch were placed. The highest package offered to students of my course was around 40 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA. And the average package offered stood near 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course that visited the campus were TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, Jio, etc. During the fourth semester onwards, almost all the students get an internship from the college. The companies which provide internships and training are Wipro, TCS, and Salesforce.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are superb. The infrastructure is nicely crafted for all the departments. Each department is situated on a different campus. These campuses include facilities like a sports center, open-air theatre, an auditorium, labs, etc. In my department, all the classrooms are air-conditioned. The classrooms are even big enough to hold 90 students in a single room. Wi-Fi connection is provided in the entire building. The quality of the hostels is good. The quality of food is like simple homemade food. The medical college KIMS takes care of all the medical facilities in KIIT. Each campus has its own canteen.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful. Most of the professors of KIIT are from IIT or NIT. Looking into their qualifications, they are highly qualified. The teaching quality is good. This generally depends from teacher to teacher. Overall, if you pay attention in class, the topics can be covered there. Yes, the course is relevant from the second year onwards. The course includes contrasting questions asked in the industry or interviews. The semester exams range from medium to tough. The pass percentage decreases as the difficulty increases. The probability of a student failing is higher in the later semesters, where the course is tough.
Other: I chose EC engineering because of the growing job opportunities this branch has in the future. India is heavily investing in the semiconductor industry, which will increase the requirement for Electronics engineers. I wish the communications sector grows in the future. KIIT Fest is held every year in the month of February.

The Fee structure is same of all students. Your annual tuition fee will be approx 1.95 lacs excluding all other expenses like books, library, exam fee, etc. If you want to stay in the hostel then it is also different. Thank you.
