Review of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: As I am currently a final-year chemical engineering student at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, this college has a good placement record in colleges around Coimbatore. On average, 90% of students in our department get placed in core companies. The average CTC is 4.5 LPA, and the maximum CTC is 8.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure and is well-known as a green campus. It also has a good Wi-Fi facility overall on the campus. Every department has its own library, other than that of the central library. The campus is very neat and clean in it.

Faculty: Our college faculty members are very friendly enough to clear your doubts every time. The curriculum is more related to industry aspects, and the Board of Studies focuses on framing the curriculum related to industry. The semester exams are mostly based on application and understanding-based questions.

Review about KPRIET, Coimbatore.

Placements: Placements are very good in the college as well as in the department of chemical engineering. The batch I am passing out with is 2025, and I am doing an internship in an MNC in Bangalore. The average package for the department is 6.5 LPA, and higher studies coaching is also provided, like GATE and foreign language courses available.

Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are very good, and the infrastructure is very good in the college. The environment for learning is very good, and student engagement in many activities other than studies is also encouraged. Additionally, the hostel is very protective and safe for students.

Faculty: Faculty members are student-friendly, and the curriculum is designed based on students' practical knowledge. Exams are conducted twice per year, the end-semester exam and the 2 CIAT exams conducted for each semester, which serve as continuous assessments of students' learning of the subject.

Other: Overall, the experience in the college is very good and nice.

Absolutely satisfied with the placements and infrastructure.

Placements: 90% of our seniors got placed. Many got placed in IT sectors and almost 50% of them got placed in the core companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has a green environment and has a 24/7 Wi-Fi facility. The food provided in the mess was good and the food provided in the canteen was also good. The medical centre is available in our college as well as the campus itself. Rooms in hostels are fully maintained and were comfortable.

Faculty: Our faculty members are more helpful to us. Most of them are doctorates qualified from IITs and NITs. Mostly our teachings are focused on researching sectors. Internships are provided by our college from the second year itself.

I am very proud that I am studying in a college, which provides almost 70% of placements every year.

Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are HCL, Wipro, Ramco Cements, TCS, etc. About 49% of the students get internships every year. The top course of our college is the new course called artificial intelligence on chemical engineering, which has an excellent opportunity in the future.

Infrastructure: Our department classrooms have a good environment and good Wi-Fi connectivity for both college and a hostel. The library has the biggest building, which has separate sections for all departments, and our course has many labs such as fluid mechanics lab, mass transfer and heat transfer lab, etc. The hostel has five sections, each for both boys and girls depending upon the year of studying. The quality of the food served in hostel and canteen is good compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. The college has a separate medical centre for college and hostel. The institution has indoor sports facilities for badminton, gym, kabaddi, gymnastics and outdoor games like football, cricket, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent, and most of them are from IITs and NITs. They work beyond the teaching hours for students future. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The entire world cannot survive without chemical engineering.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is my passion. The best thing about the course is you can learn practical more knowledge. Learning beyond the course is an important thing to improve our course. The college provides many webinars and campus connect events even in lockdown, and it offers many scholarships. Moreover, I am studying with a scholarship. The college offers many extracurricular activities such as yoga, Silambam, etc.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students are placed in good companies. Top recruiters are TCS, Zoho, Bosch, etc. From the commencement of the 5th semester, our placement training start. Accordingly, we undergo specific training which develops our personality and technical skills.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are awesome in and around our college. Many trees had been planted on our campus, and our college is eco-friendly. Matlab is used in our college to improve placements and coding knowledge also. There is a good library, and students can gain more knowledge in the library. Labs were very good and updated.

Faculty: Faculty members here were more supportive of all students and silent in nature. They improve more ideas, motivate and work to make students learn everything. Professors are very helpful, innovative and friendly, and all are Ph.D. scholars. Our curriculum is often updated with new technologies that make us industry-ready. Professors encourage students to take part in many technical contests and do many projects.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to be a software engineer, and engineers are able to develop and create the world. The course should be more industry-related. Many events, fests, extracurricular activities, etc. , are organised in our college by the department.
