It is really crowded, filled with a lot of students.
Placements: Being a first year, we have not yet come to placements, so I cannot give valid information about them. I heard about M.Sc. You've got companies like Eli Lilly coming up for placement opportunities. I am not sure about the percentage of students from my course, and I am not sure about the highest and lowest average packages as well.
Infrastructure: Student Wi-Fi cannot be accessed until you are in the second year, which we aren't even sure if we will receive. Labs are well occupied. To be honest, labs are pretty good. Science block classrooms are like a matchbox for 80 students in a class. Libraries are really good too. I am a day scholar, so not much to say about hostels. Canteens are good too.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but a lot of them are too lazy to even teach the students, half of them just read out the PPTs. It is curriculum-relevant. I cannot assure whether it makes the student industry-ready theoretically, but practically, it does. The semester exams are easy if you have studied the content given on the website and have a basic knowledge of the concept.
Other: I chose this course because it was my passion, it was something which I wanted to do in future. I wanted to be part of the research field. Proper facilities are something I wish I could have in my college case, all they do is read out the PPTs, you hardly find good teachers who actually explain the concept. There are events, fests and all of it, but to be part of a club is gonna be one of the hectic stuff, because most of it is gonna be occupied by seniors, you are hardly getting opportunities.

Kristu Jayanti University, good vibes and an overall satisfying experience.
Placements: In UG programmes, approximately 30% were recruited, however, in PG programmes, about 80% were recruited. For biotech companies, Biocon Syngene has recruited, and certain pharmaceutical companies like Novartis and Cipla also recruit. The university also has many collaborations with research institutions. Roles offered in my course are biotechnologist, research scientist, bioinformatics specialist, lab technician, etc. It's impossible to predict the placements from my course, as most companies require a minimum of a Master's in this course to get a placement. For M.Sc. in the same course, the placement rate was said to be around 90%.
Infrastructure: The facilities, like labs, are well maintained, high-end devices and instruments are available, the library has a lot of different books and books are provided. The food provided in the canteen is delicious, however, it is a little overpriced. The college has a separate arena for sports, which has cricket, football, etc. The college also has a gym, which has good equipment.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, most teachers have advanced degrees. They are very supportive and provide guidance regarding the course, and are often willing to help outside of class hours. The faculty actively includes students in research projects.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in biotech and genetics. Both biotech and genetics have rapidly expanding career opportunities, and the topics are really diverse and interesting, unlike other courses. Not only that, but since I chose this course, I get to pursue my master's in either of the three subjects, biotech, genetics and biochem.

It is a good college for my course.
Placements: Seniors got placed in very good companies. But the thing is our CV should be nice so that the company can approach us. I don't know much but this college has a tie-up with many companies and hospitals so I guess they provide better placements in the future.
Infrastructure: Labs are clean. Different labs are there for different subjects with all equipment. It has a good infrastructure for the new building. Computer labs are also nice. We have like 5 computer labs in total. The auditorium is there with different capacities.
Faculty: Semester exams are for every 2 months. The difficulty level is also high. The exam pattern is okay but answer checking is so difficult. If we know something then only we will get marks. There are online exams also for different subjects at different times.
Other: The college organises college day and ethnic day.

It is an excellent college choice on budget, with great faculty and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: Very few students get placed in Kristu Jayanti College. The college has very low-paying jobs. The highest salary is Rs. 25,,000 per month and the lowest salary is Rs. 10,000 per month. There are no top recruiting companies, just some local companies hire students. Internship is compulsory for all students, and they have to pay for it. Companies that visit the college include Biozeen, Bionorm, and local diagnostic centers and hospitals. The top roles offered in my course are research scientist and biotechnologist.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, but it rarely works. There are 8 labs in total, including cell culture, plant tissue culture, research lab, and normal labs. The library in the college has a large collection of books and references. Classrooms are spacious. The quality of food is bad in the college hostel. The mess and canteen food are excellent. It has two college blocks (the main block and the admin block). It has a medical room with a doctor and a nurse. Sports teams, including basketball, volleyball, throwball, and badminton, are there. Games are conducted according to events.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, extremely helpful, sweet, generous, and knowledgeable. Being an autonomous college, students have to study extra as the syllabus as it doesn't include all topics. It can make us industry-ready. Semester exams are easy, with most questions coming from the previous year.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to work in labs. The best thing about the course is practical because we learn new things every day. I would improve the syllabus of the course that include students teaching the latest advances in my field. Events and fests are well-organised by the management, and there is no issue of overcrowding during events. The campus crowd mostly has Malayali and North Indians. The campus is clean with lots of trees. The college has a scholarship scheme based on economic background, academics, and extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are good, and every day, an event is going on.

Satisfied with the college and faculty. Good infrastructure with a positive vibe to it.
Placements: The placement opportunities at this college are good. The college has a lot of programs to help students prepare for placements or start their own business. For undergraduate students in our course, the maximum placement salary was around 5–6 lakhs. The placement opportunities for UG students were quite good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good; the campus is beautiful and is full of greenery and clean. The library has all the booms needed and the labs are good. The hostel, however, is not quite good and a bit expensive as per the given facilities. The food, especially lunch, is not good and sometimes dinner is also not decent.
Faculty: The teachers here are good almost all of them are Ph.D. holders or have done their Masters. They are trained and pretty good when it comes to teaching. There are two mid terms held before each end-of-semester exam, followed by practical. The course curriculum is relevant and yes, it does make the student industry ready.
Other: The campus crowd is really good, and there are fests held for each department. There are alot of extracurricular activities also like different clubs for students to join and the continuous fests.

KJC has the best facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students from our batch wanted to pursue higher studies so the number of students who applied for placements was few. Placements in our Field were low as compared to the other courses. We were offered placements in IT companies like TCS, Accenture, Byjus, etc. As these companies were out of our field, we did not apply for the placement and opted for higher studies instead.
Infrastructure: Kristu Jayanti College has the best laboratory facilities. It is well-equipped with all the instruments. We also have huge classrooms with projectors and also Wi-Fi facilities. The library has all the required reference books, papers, etc. Kristu Jayanti College has more than 5 hostels nearby college. It has good infrastructure and facilities. It is good except for the over strictness.
Faculty: We have got a good set of teachers who are always ready to help when we seek help. The teaching quality is very good as our teachers prepare notes in advance and they uploads it on the website. The course curriculum covers all the topics required in the field and gives us a better idea. There are 6 semesters and the course gets difficult in the last two semesters. The pass percentage for exams is 40%.
Other: I opted this course because I could obtain a triple major degree within three years. Kristu Jayanti College is well known for its campus and infrastructure which is very suitable for three years life in a college. We have a very green campus which is very neat and peaceful place. We also have various inter and intra collegiate fests. There are many extracurricular activities which we can join and improve our skills like college choir, sports, etc.

I am satisfied overall, but the improvement of the course should have taken place during my year.
Placements: There are around 35 students in both micro and biotech, and none of the students got placed because they were pursuing masters and various other professions. The college does not provide more detail about the salary package offered during my study years. Many roles are offered to the students like lab assistant, scientist, professor, research fellow, lab technician, etc. I am not sure about the internship and the company.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and lab facilities are good. Classrooms were spacious to accommodate many students. Labs were cleanly-maintained for various experiments. The canteen was developed during my tenure, and food quality was improved during the development. There is a spacious field for sports and extra activities.
Faculty: Professors in our college were all highly qualified, and everyone had a doctorate. The course curriculum was relevant, but it needed improvement. Teachers were all knowledgeable in their field of study. It was not industry-ready material. It needed a lot of improvement on the bases.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like it. I want to know how we work and live on the planet. Everything should be improved in our college. All the activities need improvement, but eventually, everything is improved every year.

One of the Best colleges for Life sciences in Bangalore.
Placements: Placements for undergraduate students in Life sciences are comparatively less or nothing at all. But with a Postgraduation in the same, there is an increased opportunity to be placed in noted firms across the country through campus placements itself. Final year Undergraduate students from this stream are allowed to participate in the placement drives organized for/by other departments of the college.
Infrastructure: In an approximate area of 8 acres, the campus comprises of well-built classrooms, fully-equipped laboratories, gymnasium, excellent sports and arts facilities, noted for it's achievements in the same across the state and Nation. Life sciences laboratory is pretty good housing all necessary instruments and equipments. Research laboratory is an enriched one. Rain water harvesting is another notable project undertaken in the campus. Canteen and Cafeteria to be mentioned is very excellent. South-Indian cuisines to North-Indian delicacies, baked foods, etc. Are all available are nominal charges. No hostel facility inside the campus. But has association with other hostels in and around it. Separate hostels for girls and boys. Ample number of washrooms and retirement rooms are also available. Lift service is also available. No. I didn't have to face any issues with regard to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty in KJC are very student-friendly. They are quite knowledgeable in the subjects they handle. Mostly the teaching faculty involves Ph.D. holders, NET/JRF qualified and are involved in various research activities in this field. Teaching methodology involves the use of digital classrooms, seminars, industrial visits, practical based learning, model preparation and other presentations to enhance the quality of learning process. Student:Teacher ratio is approximately 15:1 Curriculum was slightly updated. But can be improved.
Other: Numerous inter-collegiate and inter-collegiate are hosted by the college apart from the curriculum studies to ensure the holistic development of the students. Scholarships are provided for students under different categories depending upon their achievements and needs. Bus facilities are slightly scarce. Environment is calm and serene.
