It is the best GTU college at the lowest fee in Gujarat.

Placements: A total of 160 students were placed in my course. The highest package is 18 lakh, the average package is 6 lakh and the lowest package is 4 lakh. For placements top recruiting companies are L&T, Atul, Adani, Reliance, etc. In my college, no internship was provided. Structural analysis is offered in my course.

Infrastructure: In my department Wi-Fi, a lab, a library, and smart classrooms are provided. The infrastructure in my college is good. The quality of the hostel facilities is fair. The quality of food available in the mess is good. They don't provide sports, medical, and game facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. No, it's not relevant for industry purposes. It's a moderate semester exam. They ask IIT-type questions in the mid-exam and twisted questions ask they don't teach those types of questions.

Other: It is worth it to take admission because of the placements.

Honest review of LDCE Ahmedabad

Placements: About 60% of students get placements in our college. The average package is Rs. 60,000 to 7 LPA, with the highest being about 1.85 LPA last year. L&T, Tata, and many other big companies recruit from our college. Roles offered range from site engineer for civil to structural engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay but not very modern, as the college is very old. Facilities like sports areas, Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are available. There is 24/7 water and electricity, with some furniture like B.Ed study tables. The food in the mess is good and cheap, with three messes available. Sports facilities for volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced and knowledgeable. Some of them have written books for engineering in their respective fields. The curriculum is slightly outdated but still good for starting in the industry. The exams are a bit tough, and many students have left engineering for the same reason. The percentage of students passing without failing is about 65% to 70%.

Other: Civil is a core engineering field, and the need for it is always there. It offers great starting packages, and the scope in the future is very high for foreign countries.

I would recommend students to join this college to become a civil engineer.

Placements: More than 80% of students got placed in this course. The lowest salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Ford, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in this college. There is a huge library in this college. Many laboratories are available. Classrooms are spacious. There are 6 hostels in this college. In each hostel room, 4 beds are available along with 4 tables and chairs. There are 4 cupboards in each room.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced. The teaching quality is good. They are very kind and knowledgeable. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are tough. If we work hard, we can score good marks during exams.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

It is an excellent college with good facilities for studying and extracurricular activities.

Placements: In our college, more than 50% of students were placed. Top recruiting companies like L&T, TCS, etc., visited our campus. Internships were available for almost all students in the final two semesters. Top role offered was a civil engineer.

Infrastructure: The hostel building was average. Our labs and classrooms were good. Our college had a wide campus with a well-established library and laboratory. The food served in the canteen was average. There were three hostel messes. There was a ground for cricket and volleyball, a badminton court, and a tennis court for sports.

Faculty: The semester exams were average. It made students industry-ready. The teaching quality was good, but syllabus completion was not guaranteed. Our teachers were very helpful and well-qualified. The course is relevant to the industry as defined by the university.

I am very happy and lucky to get admission in this college.

Placements: More than 75% students get placement. The highest package is 8 LPA and minimum ranges from 3-4 LPA. Average package is about 5 - 6 LPA. Top rated companies visit the college for placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities are not too good because it's a government college. For study purpose, the facilities are overall good. The campus has free Wifi, a big library and labs. A new hostel block has been made which has good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are too much helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. All the faculty members come under class 2 officer, so they all are too much brilliant. Students become industry ready and gain good practical knowledge. There are 2 semesters in a year. 33% are the passing marks.

No, its quite difficult with this score to get into a govt. institute. So, go for a private college you can also go another attempt to JEE! Good luck!
