The worst engineering college in Madhurai.

Placements: Placements in our college are the worst. They conduct many job melas. But they didn't give the appointment orders and the list of the students who got placed. They conduct the job mela only for publicity. They collect the registration fee and all the other fees from students.

Infrastructure: Our college has 4 buildings. The main building has lots of amenities. Other buildings are just for namesake. The equipment available in labs is just for showcase. The experiment readings will be copied from the previous year's record note books.

Faculty: We have only a few faculty members. Experienced assistant professors will resign from their positions every year due to some issues with the pay offered by the college. Fresher faculty members take all the classes, and they work for very low salary packages. Students study on their own.

Other: They didn't conduct any fests and events. The college celebrates the farewell party once a year. Graduation day is not conducted well. Students pay Rs. 1,000 for the graduation ceremony.

I am studying at Latha Mathavan Engineering College now.

Placements: The college had a good placement record, especially for core branches and Computer Science students. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year, offering placements in both IT and core sectors. The placement cell worked actively to train students in communication skills, aptitude, and technical skills to increase their chances of getting placed in good companies.

Infrastructure: Labs were well-equipped with modern instruments and updated software. They provide students with hands-on experience and help them strengthen their technical skills. Faculty encouraged students to do projects and research work, making the learning process more practical and industry-oriented. Overall, the combination of dedicated teachers and good lab facilities created a strong foundation for students to excel in their studies and future careers.Latha Mathavan Engineering College provided good facilities to ensure a comfortable and productive learning environment for students. The campus had spacious classrooms, well-maintained labs, and a library with a good collection of books and journals. Hostel facilities were available for both boys and girls with proper security and hygienic food. The college also offered transport facilities covering nearby towns and villages. There were sports grounds and indoor game areas to encourage physical activities. Wi-Fi was available in key areas of the campus. Overall, the facilities supported students’ academic growth, personal development, and day-to-day comfort during their college life.

Faculty: The Mechanical Engineering course at Latha Mathavan Engineering College was well-structured and industry-relevant. It covered core subjects like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, and Design. The department had experienced faculty who guided students in both theory and practical aspects. My college days are the best .

Placements: Placements for our college very good. Our seniors were very good. Highly reputed companies visited our college and recruited our seniors with reasonable packages. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. Even I am working in the reputed company with high package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. The campus environment is good. I suggest you consider the standard of our college as minimum benchmarked to choose a good college and have a good career. Classroom, laboratory, library, canteen facilities is good.

Faculty: OUR FACULTY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE. FACULTY WILL HELP IN GETTING GOOD MARKS. ALL STAFFS HAVE Ph.D. M.E. ,. EXPERIENCED OUR FACULTY ARE WELL TRAINED, WELL-QUALIFIED AND WELL EXPERIENCED. I EXPRESS MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE LATHA MATHAVAN ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
