Best college in Kolkata for girls.
Placements: Almost 65% of students got placements. The pay sales range from 5-6 LPA, mostly in editorial sectors, schools, and colleges. Almost 100% of students got internships in Indigo Airlines and Air India Airlines. Top roles offered are back office staff and management posts.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructures are very well-organised with the greatest collections of books in the library. Classrooms are very large and well-ventilated. Loreto College Kolkata is the best for psychology, geography, and English. Other courses are equally good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers are very helpful. The course makes students industry-ready. Exams are easy. 40% is the passing mark. If a student falls behind with some topics, special care is being taken by teachers.
Other: It is one of the best and most disciplined colleges with a lot of extracurricular activities taking place. Scholarships are also provided.

It is the best women's college at Calcutta University.
Placements: Above 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,00 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Cognizant and TCS visit our college. Almost 60% of students got internships in various renowned companies like Amazon, Frankfin, TCS, etc. Top roles offered are HR manager, data analyst, back office administrator, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good infrastructure. Classrooms and corridors are well-ventilated. We have computer lab, geography lab, and psychology lab. The library is the best in Kolkata. The hostel is available for a limited number of Christian students. The food served in the hostel is healthy and good.
Faculty: All teachers are the best. They have good knowledge about their subjects. The curriculum is quite relevant. It does not make us industry-ready. It does not provide a vast choice of job opportunities. Our college is affiliated with Calcutta University. Questions are very easy. The evaluation system and scoring are difficult.
Other: Fests are the main attraction of our college. Our college conducts extracurricular activities. If you want to score well, I do not recommend joining Calcutta University-affiliated colleges.

Good faculty and infrastructure but not very good placements.
Placements: There is no placement cell, most of the students go for Masters after completing Bachelors degree. Less than 50% students get jobs right after graduation. Even if a student gets a job it is not in a field related to the study area. The CTC can be around 1.8-2.5 Lacs. But after doing Masters the CTC will be much higher. The alumni works in companies like Zomato, Amazon, TCS etc. There is no internship assistance from the college. Though some of the students find good internship opportunities on their own, most of the students don't bother doing internships. Some of the students from political Science department do internships at various NGOs, some work as content writers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. The college has various facilities like labs, library, common room / gym, auditorium etc. The library is really good, it has a vast range of books. The classrooms are really big and airy. The college premise is really clean and well maintained. There are lots of plants around the campus and there is a big field as well. Hostel is available for Christian students only. The food is good but there are strict rules in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified, they provide us ample notes and reading materials. The course curriculum is not so relevant but the teachers try to do their best to ensure that the students get industry ready. The semester exams are not that difficult, with a little preparation students can easily score good marks. Almost everyone passes the exams. Those who don't, take the exams again.
Other: The students from this college participate in various fests in other colleges. The annual fest is Samagam, where all the students show their talents. The surrounding areas of this college are really nice, there are lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. The college is a 5 min walk from the nearest metro station so the connectivity is really good. The dress code is also very strict. The overall experience has been good but the college is pretty strict about 75% attendance, students are often not allowed to sit for exams if they don't have enough attendance. There are a lot of enrichment courses available at this college like French and Spanish Language, career oriented short course, journalism, content writing, guitar, photography, fashion designing etc. Students can take up these short courses for a semester. There are a few scholarships available for families with low income.

The college is extremely professional and well-organised.
Placements: The college doesn't provide many placement opportunities, but it helps students by providing them with free courses, enrolment in coaching classes and TTC training. However, the college is trying to expand its control and opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The college building was built in the early 1900s, which gives a spectacular impression of British architecture. It makes the college experience more beautiful. It also has many modern blocks which have well-equipped bathrooms, sports room and hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent and well-trained. All of them have a minimum experience of 5 years. They are very supportive and experts in their fields. The combination of subjects provided in college is very interesting and help students learn about different aspects of life.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to learn about the different aspects of life. All our subjects are interrelated and interdependent. The college crowd is extremely friendly, and fests are also awesome.

The faculty and facilities at Loreto College.
Placements: Placements every year on an average is 2- 4 LPA. Last year it was 6-7 LPA ( Lacs per annum. ). This year it's 7.6-8 LPA. Red Bull company had given some students of our college the opportunity to be promoters of their drink during our fest. They would distribute free drinks and the students promoting the drink would receive a considerable amount for this job.
Infrastructure: Library is very rich in source and updated. Computer lab is good with sufficient desktops for the class. Health camps are put up in every few months. Facility of playing games such as Table Tennis, Carom, basketball, throwball and badminton is available.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind and helpful. They not only focus on the academic progress of an individual but also on the overall development of students. They are always ready to guide students in the personal and career related problems. Teachers also participate in fun activities along with the students.
Other: The annual fest is Samagam. Various colleges from the city take part in the fest. Many extra curricular activities take place all round the year.

An amazing institute where the values of discipline are well inculcated in all.
Placements: The placement opportunities in the college are not that great as there is no placement cell. Few companies like Deloitte, Zomato visited the college in the past and hired a few students who are happily still working there. Most students opt for higher studies after completing their education here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very spacious, and the windows are huge. The library is very well stocked. There are many sports options to choose from like TT, carrom, badminton, etc. Even gym equipment is also available for all which can be used in leisure. The canteen food is hygienic and has a lot of variety.
Faculty: The graduation and post graduation courses are well taught, ahead in time. Courses are constantly being updated. Teachers are friendly and very helpful. They are a great guide. The student to faculty ratio is around 35:1 across all courses offered.
