Excellent college, the most friendly staff.
Placements: 30% of the students are being placed. The highest salary package is 10 Lacs per annum. The lowest salary package is 3 Lacs per annum. The top roles offered for sociology are HR, Sales, Marketing, Relationship Manager. Everyone has to do a compulsory internship for one month.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are fantastic on the college campus. Every classroom has a smartboard and a Wi-Fi router. The library is very big and the period we can borrow a book is also greater. The facility in the hostel is a bit less.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and their knowledge of the subject is fabulous. The course curriculum did not make a student industry ready but it made them ready for society. 40% is the pass percentage. The semester is easy but it challenges you to think and write.

Green Campus. It has one of the biggest library in Chennai.
Placements: 20% of students were placed. 15000-30000 was the range of salary offred. Amazon was the top recruiting company. HR manager post offred.
Infrastructure: The college has spacious classrooms. It has one of the biggest library in Chennai. Highly equipped labs. Healthy and tasty food at Loyola Hostel. Playground also available.
Faculty: Teachers are always there to help the students. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum was revelant and it makes students industry ready.
Other: I choose sociology for two reasons first for studying society in depth and the second to appear for the UPSC exam. Sociofest is one of the event that is conducted by department of sociology. Scholarship for deserving students and that is guided by LSS office.

One of the finest and generous college in India.
Placements: The companies that come to this college for placements are usually are well reputed, they usually come in search of highly creative people and that's what this college strives to produce. There's a lot of companies who just come for the brand name and just settle for whoever they find and get along and come next year.
Infrastructure: The main block is almost a century old, it's cross ventilated and it's huge, and this is where B.A. and M.A. go on. With what money we pay it's just way too good, there's free Wi-Fi, there's a huge library, and there's a doctor for everyone too. There are drug counselors and normal counselors too for the whole institution, the huge labs too.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and they just keep motivating us towards bigger goals than settling for less, this is the only unique thing I saw in this college, even people with smaller goals come here and turn into rationally ambitious people and try to lead a better life.
Other: Scholarship is given to anyone* literally anyone who financially can't afford the course, No ragging, opportunities and support to participate in lots of cultural events.

It is the best choice for the standard education.
Placements: The placements are well, and an average salary package was Rs. 35,000 per month after completing the UG programme. The lowest is Rs. 20,000 per month. A total of 50+ companies visits every year during the placement time. I give 8/10 for the placements. The companies like Wipro, TCS, etc., visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is best in the city. There is cross ventilation in classrooms. The digital library is available for the benefit of the students. There are separate blocks for labs. The college id top in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. Healthcare centre is available on the campus.
Faculty: The teaching staffs are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The best teaching is available, and students are made to engage in field work and projects in every semester. Teaching methods were technological. Industrial exposure is made to the students for their knowledge.
Other: Ovations is the best cultural event among the colleges in the city and then comes the department festival.

Very satisfied and still missing the college life.
Placements: There was an active placement cell in my college. Even I thought that, but I haven't gone for the placement because I was interested in further studies. Many of my friends have gone through it and have successfully placed into it. The companies like Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, E&Y and many others have come to visit it.
Infrastructure: My college had the best infrastructure facilities in the Chennai city. It has a separate building for arts, science, commerce, visual communication, etc. Our building was called the main building which was constructed 90 years back in a British style, but it was superb.
Faculty: The faculty members here were excellent in their respective fields. We had experts in each course papers and therefore it had helped us a lot. This was the case in most of our departments. This course curriculum was very well made and it included all the necessary subjects.
Other: We had many inter-college and intra-college fests, and it was awesome and was well-received by the audience.
