Review of Loyola College.

Placements: In our college, 83% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is 10 LPA. The lowest package offered in our course is 15,000. The average package offered in our course is 50,000. HCL, Indian Express Newspaper, and The Hindu Newspaper are the top recruiting companies for our course. 78% of our course students got internships from our course in Indian Express Newspaper and The Hindu Newspaper. Technical writer and lecturer are the top roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Each class has Wi-Fi, smart class and projector facilities. There is a separate lab for us, that is English research room, where the teaching staff and the non-teaching help us to explore. The hostel has the best security system, and outsiders cannot come into the hostel without prior permission. Hostel food is good enough for the money paid. The college has a health care center and medical facilities. Sports and games are conducted here.

Faculty: The teachers are well-educated, and they are very helpful to students. If any student couldn't understand the subject, the teacher would not hesitate to explain again. The teachers will explain with more affection so that the students can understand easily. Semester exams are really very easy. If the students attend the classes daily, they can easily score a good percentage.

Other: I chose this course as per my wish. I like to read more books like history and interesting novels, that's why I chose this course. The teachers are involved more effectively and efficiently, and they are the ones who make the explanation correctly with examples. The thing I wish to be developed is to read more novels. I have to be more attentive in the fest and all the extracurricular activities.

Our college provides world-class infrastructure and motivating staff members.

Placements: Many top companies, like Microsoft, TCS, etc., visited our college for placements. The highest salary package offered in our batch was 3.4 LPA. Our batch got the highest placements at our time. As part of our curriculum, we had to do an internship in top companies or NGOs. Our college students get an internship easily because of their reputation.

Infrastructure: Our college is known for its infrastructure with huge buildings. Our college provides spacious classrooms and advanced laboratories. Our college provides many sports facilities with grounds for cricket, football, tennis, etc. Food served in the hostel is neat and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly professional, and their teaching is of top class. Their mentoring is motivating. The English literature and language course are one of the demanding courses in the country with scope for becoming a writer, poet, dramatist, journalist, editors, columnist, or we get IT jobs.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like literature. Loyola College, Chennai is a brand in itself, and it is always placed under the top 3 colleges in the country.

The college has good infrastructure and friendly teachers.

Placements: Some students got a job through placements and did an internship in good companies. After completing the course, you can join in the teaching field, communication field and many government sectors. Even jobs abroad can be easily fetched.

Infrastructure: There is a big and good library in our college, and they provide free Wi-Fi for laptops. The hostel is good, and the food is very good when compared to other hostels. There are health centre and food court in our college, and it is a good college for sports also. Our college gives a peaceful environment.

Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful, very friendly, very talented and qualified. They teach according to the students capacity. The course offered here is good, and they make students for the next steps. They also offer placements training. Overall, the teachers are friendly, and their teaching was good.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am good at English than in other subjects. The best thing is our department is small but active in all events. The college conducts many events here.

Loyola College ranked number 2 by NIRF in the year 2017.

Placements: I am studying PG in the same college now. I got placed in many good companies. Even some of the students are studying their post-graduate. Even while I was doing my graduate, I got placed in many MNCs, but I have decided to study post graduation in the same college after completing my graduation.

Infrastructure: The campus was good, green and there is a peaceful atmosphere throughout the campus. You can feel it once you enter into Loyola College. There are high-quality labs, library and smart classrooms. Getting placed in Loyola college Chennai is like going to the heaven because of its history.

Faculty: The staffs were very friendly. They do justice to their jobs. They never forget to complete the lessons. They were ready to give all high-quality service to the students. The college administration was also friendly with the students to fulfil their necessary needs.

Other: The college is in the centre of the town.

It is a good college to make your foundation.

Placements: There is a dedicated placement system, which is active. If you want a placement even in an undergraduate degree, you can get it if you have sound knowledge of your subject. Around, 60 percentage marks in your subject and no arrears is a must if you want to be placed in the high paying companies or even any companies at all.

Infrastructure: There is supposed to be the Wi-Fi facility for the staff, but it's not working for the past two years. There are other labs like language lab, communication lab, different science-based labs on the campus. There are two basketball courts, a football court with pavilion, a cricket court, two volleyball courts, and even a gym, but it's not helpful for bodybuilding, but it does have the decent equipment. There is a food court inside Loyola, which has the quality but a little pricey. The rooms in the building are spacious though there is no lift for the normal students as there are special lifts for the physically challenged and the visually challenged people. The hostel rooms are not spacious, but good when compared to the nearby apartment prices the food is rather good and has three types of the mess(veg, non-veg, metro). The bathroom facility is the only downfall but manageable. The water facility is seriously good, and all the good things needed for a college student are near from the American library to gaming centres everything is found in Nungambakkam.

Faculty: The faculty members in the shift-1 are the government professors while the college selects the shift-2 professors, both are good at teaching and friendly to the students. They give you everything you need to ace the subject, but if you want more, there is always the library. The students differ in all the departments, and as it's a men's college(mostly), it's populated in a little-stuffed manner but to be honest more the merrier.

Other: The notable events include the inter-departmental festival, inter-college festival, and the sports events like the Bertram tournament workshops now and then are good on the campus for the students.
