Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Scholarships and Funding
Meritorious Students are awarded Scholarships by the Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Education Society. This Scholarship is in the form of fee waivers, financial assistance etc.
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) maintains different types of scholarship programs for the postgraduate scholars pursuing their MBA degrees. Merit-based awards are given to students scoring high in CAT, CMAT, or IPU CET entrance examinations, and they could get very good fee waivers.
The EWS scheme is followed by the institute, under which the students from the economically weaker sections get relief as per government provisions. The other scholarships available are the state-sponsored ones for Delhi residents or for students of reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), according to eligibility.
To meet the need of assisting students, the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) has introduced scholarship schemes for students at this institution who are pursuing UG courses.
The merit-based scholarship is awarded mainly to those who have scored high in their 12th grade or above in entrance tests like IPU CET; further, the institute offers financial aid as per Government Guidelines for EWS, but costs only a portion of the fees.
Following the same merit, government scholarships are provided for under-reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) and for applicants from Delhi. But there are some other components that have been developed to keep the cost of education affordable, while the amount sanctioned and the academic year change with these policies and student performance.
For UG courses at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), the total tuition fee for a B.E./B.Tech programme is approximately INR 5.53 lakhs, with additional hostel fees ranging from INR 1,30,000 to INR 1,96,000.
