 Students can also get practical experience and exposure to the industry through internships offered by the university. For students pursuing a B.Tech in Marine Engineering or a B.Sc. in Nautical Science, the internships are required. They last six months or a year, respectively.

The following entrance exam results are accepted by MIT ADT University's Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) for admission to the B.Tech program:

MHT CET: Candidates may be admitted to B.Tech programs if they have valid results in the PCB or PCM group of the MHT CET.

JEE Main: At MANET, MIT ADT University, valid JEE Main scores in the PCM group are also accepted for admission to B.Tech programs.

IMU CET: The merit score of the IMU CET entrance exam is taken into consideration for admission to Naval Sciences programs, including B.Tech Marine Engineering and B.Sc. Naval Science.

In order to be considered for admission to the B.Tech programme at MANET, MIT ADT University, prospective students must make sure they meet the eligibility requirements and have valid results from the designated entrance exams.

• To apply for the B.Tech and B.Sc. degree course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 60% marks in aggregate.
• At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
• Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their PCM marks and Medical fitness as per the DGS norms and they are called to MANET, Pune to confirm their admission in the month of Jun-July 2024 (tentatively).
• Applicants are interviewed situation by a panel of educators and maritime professionals to assess the applicant’s communication skills, leadership potential, clarity of thought, maturity and reasoning abilities. The panel also looks for any extracurricular achievements of the candidate.

In order to get admission for BTech at Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education & Training, the  candidate need to meet the last educational qualification. Aspirant should complete Class 12 with 60% aggregate and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects. The students should qualify the entrance exam, i.e.,  IMUCET

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for a B.Tech programme at Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET), MIT ADT University, Pune: they must have completed their intermediate education with a minimum of 60% of their marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) furthermore they must have received a 50% in English and a valid IMU CET score. As a result, it might not be eligible for a B.Tech at MANET, MIT ADT University, given its 56 percentile on the IMU CET. 

Yes, MANET Pune offers scholarship to BTech regular students. However, the student should have PCM as a compulsory subjects in Class 12 to avail the scholarship.
