MIT, Manipal College Review.
Placements: The overall placements for information technology were really great. Most of the students in my batch have been placed in well-reputed MNCs across the country. The students are offered roles varying from software developer to data analyst. The average package is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are better than what you can expect from any other college. The hostels are well-equipped with wi-fi, cleaning staff and laundry. There are more than 3 messes on the campus itself, which even provide late-night food delivery to hostel blocks.
Faculty: The professors are helpful enough if you approach them well in advance. The curriculum is as per industry standards and the core subjects that are required to clear the interviews are taught each year, accompanied by hands-on lab practice. The end-of-semester exams are designed to assess the understanding of the student in the best way possible.

Manipal Institute of Technology: A Hub of Innovation and Excellence in Engineering Education.
Placements: More than 70% of the students in this course had a placement. The highest-paying package was 51 LPA and the lowest was around 5–9 LPA. Top recruiters are JP Morgan Chase Co., Deutsche Bank, FirstCry, and AWS. The top roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, full-stack developer, microprocessor engineer, and cybersecurity hardware engineer.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are decent; attached washrooms and ACs are available too. The professors are great at what they teach; labs build your foundation. Wi-fi here, whether it be in the academic blocks or in the hostel, runs at a decent 40 Mbps. Mess has great facilities, as you can order from mess or the Indian kitchen.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach the syllabus and give us more knowledge on the subject too. Exams are written on an iPad, which is a huge step towards a digital future. Subjects are helpful to students in the long term as they are industry-ready.

MANIPAL - College with really marvelous campus and college life.
Placements: As per official sources at my college, 92.90% of my seniors got placed, which is a decent number of students getting placed. The other students who did not get placed were either running their own startups or didn't score satisfying marks in their exams. The highest package offered was 51.03 LPA by Microsoft to two of my seniors. Recruiting companies like ADOBE, HITACHI, HP, IBM, and BOEING are invited.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is at par with colleges like IITs in terms of infrastructure. All of our classrooms are air-conditioned and have big screens to help the students SEE better. We also have a hospital for emergencies, which is a short walk from hostels. The food in mess is much inclined towards south Indian food. The campus has big playgrounds for outdoor games like football, cricket, etc. Hostels have indoor games like table tennis. Hostels have separate wi-fi facilities for each floor and offer high-speed internet.
Faculty: Most of my faculty and professors hold a doctorate in their own subjects or at least have a Masters. They deliver their lectures in a way that is understandable to students. They also use experiments to help students better grasp the topic. The average score ranges from 7 to 7.5 GPA.

The college life and the placements are amazing.
Placements: The highest package has been approximately 54.2 LPA, and the lowest and average are 12.39 LPA. A lot of known companies, like Google, Facebook, etc., are recruiting. Last year, almost 92.6% of people got placed. I am not really sure about the roles offered but I am guessing just being an employee is the first stage.
Infrastructure: The facilities are the best. The libraries are big, with study halls (both individual and group), free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The classrooms are huge and air-conditioned, with projectors. The mess provides really good food. The hostel's infrastructure is well built and cleaning is done on a regular basis. We have KMC Hospital right outside campus, so we can go there if anything happens. There are a lot of courts and fields for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Since I am in my first year, the course curriculum seems irrelevant because our course currently starts only in our second year. The semester exams are pretty hard and a lot of people end up giving retests. The good thing is that our college has the option of retesting, which most colleges do not give. So if we fail, we don't get a backlog right after; we have a chance to pass.
Other: I chose this course because of the packages offered. The campus life is amazing here. It's very fun.

Review of Manipal Institute of Technology.
Placements: Many students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and JP Morgan. The placement cell is active. I would rate 4.5 out of 5 for placements. The highest salary package offered ranges between 50 LPA - 60 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 11 LPA. Many students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very good. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a huge library in this college. We also have a separate study hall. Classrooms are well-maintained. It also provides desks and chairs in all classrooms. The hostel's fee structure is reasonable. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Washrooms are better. Laundry facility is available. The food served in the mess is very good. There are many food courts on our campus. Medical facilities are available for emergency purposes. Everything is available at reasonable prices. There is a recreation center on our campus. It also has two basketball courts.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. The teaching quality is better. They always focus on the theoretical part. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Students are divided into Chemistry and Physics cycles. You have subjects like coding, maths, biology, chemistry, etc. The standard of the papers increases from one sessional to another. Semester exams are moderate. You can score average marks without studying. The pass percentage is 98%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. I wish they did not divide us into Physics and Chemistry cycles. Events and fests are conducted for 4 to 5 days. Students are very friendly with each other. The connectivity is very good. The alumni base of this college is better. Scholarships are provided to merit students.

Manipal University offers BTech course via Manipal Institute of Technology. In order to get admission to a four-year BTech course at Manipal Institute of Technology, the first step is to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who passed Class 12 in the Science stream are eligible to apply for this course. Manipal BTech admissions are completely entrance-based.     What is the syllabus for the MUOET 2018? I am in 12th and want to join MU in merit seats.

    The syllabus for MUOET is displayed on the MU website under the admission details. Basics of class 11th and class 12th knowledge will be very helpful. Be thorough with your concepts and you won't need any other books. To get a scholarship, your rank should be lower than 1000.
