MIT Manipal- a complete review of academics, hostel, and campus life.
Placements: This year, taking into account the recession happening, placements are pretty decent. Around 65 percent of the total students who applied are placed, with the percentage being higher in CS branches. The highest package is not officially released for this year, but it is said to be 52 LPA from Microsoft, offered to students from CCE. The average for overall branches is around 9 LPA, and for CS branches, it is 13 LPA. Companies like BlackRock also take students for internships, which are not counted in the percentage.
Infrastructure: I'm staying in a non-attached, non-AC room. Cleanliness is very good, and it's peaceful. Toilets are cleaned once every day. Rooms are cleaned once every two days or more if we request. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel, with a constant speed of 15 Mbps. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, blackboards, whiteboards, AC, podiums, and so on. The library is easily accessible to any student with an ID card. Mess food is very clean and hygienic, but you do get tired of it after some time. Still, there's a ton of variety.
Faculty: Most teachers are good, but there are some bad ones as well, as in any college. The course curriculum is the same for all first years. Honestly, it's not very relevant since everyone is made to study subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and EVS. But, some other subjects like electronics, electrical, and math are very much relevant for all students. There are two exams each semester, along with numerous quizzes and assignments. Semester exams are not too hard if you prepare 1-2 weeks in advance.
Other: I am always interested in microcontrollers, signaling, and so on, which is why I chose Computer and Communication. The course is very interesting from the second year onwards. The campus crowd is decent, with all types of people. You just have to find your type. Lots of student projects, student clubs, and student projects are funded by the college. Campus life is one of the best in India for sure, with absolutely no restrictions. There are lots of hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, beaches, pubs, malls, etc., nearby. The in-time for first years is 10 PM (10:30 PM for hostels), and for the second year, it is 11 PM (11:30 PM for hostels).

An extensive review of MIT, Manipal..
Placements: Around 60% of students from the 2026 passing batch get placed. Packages offered range from 3 LPA to a staggering 51 LPA. The average and median packages range from 12 LPA and 11 LPA, respectively. An internship is required to get the B.Tech degree, so everyone somehow got the internship by the last semester.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs and classrooms are provided for our course. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and cameras to record the lectures, which students can refer to later if they wish. For hostels, the Wi-Fi is decent with unlimited data but with a speed cap of 15 Mbps.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent and better than others. But all of them are approachable and very cooperative. Most courses are relevant. The college updates the course structure every four years to keep pace with the industries. Semester exams range from medium to hard.

Satisfied experience in MIT MANIPAL from 2024 to 2028, good infrastructure, hostels, and mess.
Placements: The university provides a good placement for its students. The number of students placed in my course was around 81% and the highest package was 35 Lacs, while the average was 14 Lacs. The top recruiting company was Oracle and almost 100% of students got internship offers.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are modern and well-equipped. AC classrooms and library, along with projectors in classrooms and video recorders. The whole academic campus is equipped with Wi-Fi and it has a unique code for every student to use. Also, hostels are quite good, as there is a combination of AC and non-AC rooms with single and double beds. Also, there are different blocks with attached or common washrooms. My block was block 16 during the first year. Mess and canteen are far better than expected. Meals are tasty and they feel like homemade food. There are also sports facilities provided, including cricket, basketball, badminton, volleyball, football, table tennis (inside hostels) and many more sports.
Faculty: The teachers are good, helpful, qualified, and have a good sense of communication. The course is relevant according to me as we have workshops from the very first year for automobile, mechanical, computers, electrical, and civil, which is compulsory for all students. Thus, this makes education practical and gives hands-on experience to the students. The semester exams are quite difficult but most of the students pass the exam. I am sorry but I do not have the data for the passing percentage of students in the semester. I will surely update as I get to know that.

Course Structure is Good, Campus Life is Good, Good Sports Opportunities.
Placements: I haven't appeared for placements yet, but from what I have heard, they have good placements and nice PPOs from Microsoft. If you're in any of the computer courses, you're generally safe regarding placements. The process is transparent, and you can learn more about it from your seniors, so overall it's good.
Infrastructure: Hostels are neat and tidy, and the rooms are spacious. The weather remains pleasant in odd semesters, so you don't need ACs for 4 out of 8 semesters; non-AC rooms are also good. AC rooms are excellent, and Manipal hostels are among the best compared to other colleges with hostels on campus.
Faculty: I love the course structure as it is both practical and theoretical. Studies can be a bit challenging, and scoring good marks and a high GPA is quite difficult, but if you're determined, everything is possible. I’ve seen courses from other colleges, and I feel the courses here are quite relevant.
Other: The Computer and Communication course is useful because it covers both aspects of communication and computers, and its placement opportunities are close to those of core Computer Science.

Really interactive and friendly environment .
Placements: Around 80% are the placement rates with multiple companies, which are all growing and developed companies. The highest package is around 60 LPA, while the average is around 15 to 16 LPA every year, which does vary solely on the students.
Infrastructure: Multiple sports facilities are available all throughout the campus and open most of the day, which is good as we do not have to leave the campus to experience these as per the food. There are multiple restaurants and cafeterias around the campus, so one does not have to walk far.
Faculty: Pretty normal exams; the curriculum is the same, I'm pretty sure for many other colleges, but the exams are made a little more challenging, but the relative grading system definitely helps. There is a large percentage of students failing one subject but relatively low for a year ago.
Other: CCE has many options; we cover both software and hardware.

It's a good college and I would recommend others to join MIT Manipal .
Placements: Nearly 90 percent students get placed. The highest package was 53 lpa, the lowest was around 4 lpa, and the average was around 15 lpa. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Deshaw, etc. The percentage of students who got internships is around 10% in companies like Deshaw, JPMorgan, etc. Top roles offered in my course are Ph.D.
Infrastructure: Facilities infrastructure is very good. Hostel and mess facilities are very good, and sports facilities are also very good. The course facilities were also very good, and the Wi-Fi system is also good. Classrooms have centralized AC, and all in all, it was an overall good experience.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful the curriculum is relevant and semester exams are not very difficult Teachers are knowledgeable; they are supportive as well and they take care; it makes students ready for industry surely and pass percentage is nearly 70%; people pass normally .
Other: Fests are very good. Technical fest is known as Techtatva and cultural fest is known as Revel.

Good facilities and hostel; hostel rent is cheaper than other institutes; great place for research.
Placements: 1. 50–60% of students are placed this year (without including PPOs). 2. The highest package is 25 LPA (Cisco), while the average is 12.25 LPA. 3. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, etc. are the top recruiters. 4.100/240 students got internships. 5. SDE, ML engineer, software engineer, web developer, etc. are the top roles offered. 6. Placements were not good because of the recession.
Infrastructure: 1. Good labs (all updated hardware and good Wi-Fi). 2. Hostels do not have good Wi-Fi and average mess food. Sports facilities are good, and canteens too. 3. Students get good exposure to the industrial world through student projects, which are great for experience in work for their respective branches.
Faculty: 1. All of the teachers did either M.Tech or Ph.D. 2. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. 3. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage for math is 50%. 4. A good number of students got clubs and projects. 5. All the exams are held on an e-pad, so no paper or pen.
Other: 1. Because it's the next thing better than AIML. 2. If they added c+ in our curriculum. 3. Tech Tatva, Revel, and MS are some of the major fests in our college.

Everything about MIT MANIPAL.
Placements: Placement Statistics: nearly 70% of the students from the branch got placed, from which the highest package was offered by CISCO at 24 LPA; furthermore, the average package was at 12 LPA. Also, the top companies that offer the best packages most of the time give PPO to the students who got selected for their internship.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the faculty are decent; in fact, one will like to study in the classroom if they have a teacher of his/her choice. Talking about hostels, you will get table tennis tables in some hostels along with a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility. Entertainment is fine; in fact, sometimes you won't get time to get entertained because of a hectic schedule. Mess food is good; it is not always that you are unable to eat it. The hygiene of the mess is good too.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, but some of them lack experience in teaching, as they know the concept but sometimes can't express themselves well enough. The course curriculum is fine but sometimes it becomes hectic and the difficulty level of the exam is average to difficult; one will not find it easy.
