Honest review about SRM KTR.
Placements: 100% of students are placed in my college, it has a great placement cell to help the students. The highest package is about 60LPA given to a student by Google, and the lowest is 6LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and Infosys. 100% of students from my course were placed in different companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, and many more. The top roles offered in my course are Web development and DSA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better than that of any other college at this point. This college feels more like a luxury hotel. The labs are always clean and well maintained. The Wi-Fi gives almost a table internet of 500mbps. SRM has a library consisting of 5 floors, which has almost every book required for any course you're enrolled in. The hostel and mess are also good, the food is unexpectedly good. There are 2 main indoor stadiums and a swimming pool with many sports grounds.
Faculty: Teachers here are actually good and teach with real passion. All the facilities are good and have a good past teaching experience in the field, and they help the children with every doubt, in motivating, and not only in class courses, but in taking part in different hackathons too.
Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in app and web development, and it helps me get placed in different IT companies. The best thing can be the freedom I get in this course to study anything and still get good marks in tests. There is nothing I will like to improve in my course, its perfect. There are many events fests happening every week, its almost every day. There are 2 major fests that happen, which are actually very great, and they are on a grand level.

SRM KTR: Vibrant campus life, dissatisfactory placements, but mixed academics
Placements: I am studying in SRM KTR in CSE with a specialization in IT. Honestly, you will get many opportunities in college, but the number of students they take is insane. The average package is around 7 to 8 LPA. Top companies like Barclays, TCS, JP Morgan, Samsung, etc., visit the college. Very few students get internships from our courses in companies like JP Morgan, Samsung, and Barclays.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are really nice and all digital. Labs are also highly equipped. Overall, the campus is really nice. You can enjoy your campus life here. Food is also not that bad. Definitely, you can enjoy sports and games. The campus is really nice, but placements are not satisfactory.
Faculty: Teaching staff is not really up to the level. I mean, there are some really nice professors, but more than that, there are teachers who don’t know much and just read PDFs in class. The curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are also tough, but the pass percentage is good, so one can pass easily.
Other: I chose CSE-IT because I thought it would give me more opportunities in the IT sector. The crowd on campus is too much, sometimes it feels like a fish market.

Our college has helpful faculty members.
Placements: Top companies visit our campus regularly for placements and internships. The highest international salary package offered is 1.7 CPA. The highest domestic salary package offered is 1 CPA. The placement cell is very active and helps students to prepare their mindset for interviews and gain confidence.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is very good. It is better than most of the colleges. The mess provides good food.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders. They know a lot about their subjects. Most of them are helpful and assist you if you ask for help. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
Placements: The placement season has just started, and about 5% of students got internships despite the hiring freeze and recession in the current academic year. There has been a little disparity due to favouritism, but that exists. Companies like DE Shaw, JPMC, Barclays, LinkedIn and many more have recruited students for summer internships. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 1.5 Lacs per month.
Infrastructure: There are no air-conditioned classrooms, and the heat in Chennai is not bearable. Systems in labs are too worn down to use, and the hostel has decent rooms. Cleanliness is maintained. The food is barely edible, but the medical facilities are great. The college Wi-Fi is subpar at best as the crowd is too big, and it tends to crash at times.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. Their teaching is understandable. I wish they improve their mandatory 75% attendance scheme. Semester exams are easy to pass, and the courses are relevant.
Other: Events are not held here due to covid, but all the festivals are celebrated well enough.

Average college but you don't have to worry about placements.
Placements: 90% students get selected every year as software developers, BDA, etc. CSE slots have more placements than any other branch. Core branch students also apply for non-core placements.
Infrastructure: They give both North Indian and South Indian food and they serve meals 4 times a day in the hostel. There are few restrictions as usual in the hostel but you will be get used to them such as you can't order food every time from outside. You have to go outside before 10 PM and you have to use biometric every time to enter or leave the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified but some of them do discrimination with South and North people. While marking, they give some extra marks to the locals. Mainly the lab assistants are not good like every other college. They are rude in behavior.
Other: Milan and Aarush are the college fest, in which Milan is the 2nd the biggest college fest ever in India.

Placements: Placements in our college are great. Almost 99% of the students got placed successfully. Top recruiting companies so far are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Many students got the opportunity of internship in our college. Computer science is the main course which students seek for.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is extremely satisfying. There is Wi-Fi connection all around. The labs, classroom and library have centralised air-conditioners with good atmosphere around. The quality of facilities in our hostel is extremely satisfying .
Faculty: When coming to teachers, the teachers were helpful to a great extent. And also knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also great. The semester exams were also nice, not that tough too, if studied properly everyone could score good score and percentage over-all.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. It has a great future.

Placements are pretty good, and campus life is also good.
Placements: I am in 2nd year. Our seniors got amazing placements. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, which is very good in the current scenario.
Infrastructure: Hostels are pretty average. The rooms of boys in the hostel are of average size. A mess is average, but you can survive. College life is good. You will get shops and restaurants near campus as well as on campus. The only problem is that the campus is to much far from the main city.
Faculty: Exams are a little bit difficult, but if you cope with academic staff members, then it will be good. Teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is well up to date, and it makes you ready for market.
Other: Fest and events are regularly organised in college, and you will get many chances to participate in events.

To get admission into SRM University and its other campuses you need to clear an entrance exam called SRM JEE. In that exam you need to have a good rank like 20000 or below which would be sufficient for getting IT.
