Good course and facilities in college.

Placements: The placements are good compared to most colleges in India. The average stands at around 9LPA for all branches combined with computer related degrees getting higher packages. Majority of the students get placed or go for higher studies. The highest package stands at 54LPA offered by Microsoft currently. Students start getting internships through college or through personal connections. Some of them are paid internships and they usually receive about 10k as a stipend per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well built at apt location. All mess hostels are inside the campus. The library is top notch strict & and resourceful. Classroom has E board laptop that can be connected to AC speakers are all good. Sports activities take place regularly. Many technical clubs that push students to do better and have better knowledge. Cultural clubs and music clubs collaborate with outside talents during fests.

Faculty: In my civil department there was a good faculty to student ratio. I am not aware of other departments. All the staff were either Ph.D. holders or were trying to get one. Thorough knowledge. The interactions were very peaceful. We could ask them anything anytime. Always helpful. The course was very effective. The course was revised a year ago when I joined. It was up to date. It helps us to deal with real world so many things I learnt are resonating with my job now. There were exams every 2 months.

My honest review of my college.

Placements: Placements and job opportunities are pretty good, as much as compared to the best engineering colleges in India. The recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, GE, Yamaha, Honeywell, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Maruti, Goldman Sachs, and many more. The packages for core roles go up to 18 LPA, the average is around 6 LPA, and MRCs offer around 3- 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are much better compared to other colleges, with the infrastructure and the kind of facilities provided. There are enough rooms to fit in all the students, plus all options all available, like single (AC/non-AC) and double (AC/non-AC). The mess food is good in terms of hygiene, but for obvious reasons, it becomes boring if you eat there every day.

Faculty: There is specialized faculty for every subject. Most of them have a Ph.D. or a minimum of a Master's in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping students who are actually interested. Motivating and keen on students going into the research side and developing things rather than simply looking for jobs. The structure consists of a total of 100 marks per subject in a semester. The first sessional is 20 marks, the second sessional is 20 marks, and again, 5 assignment tests (2 marks each) for 10 marks. The semester examination is of 50 marks. This is the structure for every theory subject in all semesters. The course structure is good enough in terms of understanding the concept, but it is not up to the mark when it comes to focusing on research. The selection of electives is based on the CGPA, and students with higher CGPAs usually fill the seats for more preferred electives.

Very satisfied because of facilities.

Placements: The percentage of students who were placed in my course was 60 percent. The highest package was 12 LPA, the average package was 8 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys. Many students got internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department were very satisfying. Classrooms and labs were clean and comfortable. The campus was very environment-friendly. All the required resources were present in the well-stocked library. Mess and cooking arrangements were hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers were very qualified and knowledgeable. All faculty members and staff were very cooperative and supportive. The teaching quality was good. Our course curriculum was relevant and it made students industry-ready. The semester exams were quite difficult.

The teaching quality is good.

Placements: Around 85% of students got placed at my college. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Jaypee Group and Hindustan Construction Company. We got major roles. Around 75% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The campus provides a hostel facility. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. Bedrooms are good with attached bathrooms. 24/7 hot water is provided. The infrastructure is very good. Our classrooms are neat. The library is good. Labs are well-equipped. Medical facilities are good.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and experienced. They have good knowledge about their subjects. They teach in a good manner. They are very helpful and friendly. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 68%.

The hostel provides Wi-Fi for students.

Placements: Placement and Job opportunities were excellent at college in M.Tech (Construction & Project management). Our external coordinator Proof. S. Sapre sir has very strong relations with huge numbers of industries. Along with the support of the Dean & HOD, he invited plenty of companies for placement along with facilities to conduct exams, and personal interviews. Companies like ESSAR, JLL, OBEROI, KPMG, SHAPOORJI, and KNIGHT FRANK were regular every year for campus recruitment. We all students were absorbed by the companies who came for interviews & it was 100% placement of M.Tech (Construction & Project Management) students with very lucrative CTC packages around 6-8 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Hostels 5 and 6 for boys and hostels 1,2,3 and 7 for girls will make u feel the actual hostel life in MIT for 1st year. It cost around 98,000 Rs. Per year for non-AC hostels and goes up to 1,65,000 for AC depending on whether you take a single room or share. The new hostel blocks like 16,17 and 20 are way farther than these hostels and academic blocks. So, if u come to MIT choose the 1st 2 lies of hostels according. The Weather is very cool here so no need to worry about heat. You will feel a little more hear during the days but at night, it gets could. Every night, you have to enter within 10 pm at night for 1st year and do the biometric after coming to the hostel. The food court is near blocks 1,2,3 5,6 and 7 Food quality of MIT is much better than other hostels and you will love it I am sure. So, overall you will not feel any problems after coming to MIT and your parents will also be satisfied with these facilities and accommodation. Hostel Fee: INR 98000 per year.

Faculty: The course curriculum is industry-oriented and primarily focuses on the overall development of the candidate. In MANIPAL Choice-based curriculum was implement in 2018. More focus is on industry internships and sponsored projects. So in my opinion, it is a relevant and research-driven curriculum. The exam structure is also good. It primarily is semester-based and each semester has two Sem exams and one end-semester exam. Class size is 80 and course fees is INR 400000 per year.

Other: It is an excellent college with top-class facilities and dedicated faculty members. The campus infrastructure and facilities are excellent and the lab facilities are superb. Almost all lectures or faculty members are dedicated, work towards every student’s development, and look out for the overall development of the institution. Similarly, the management of this college is well known for their social activities also. Thus, I recommend opting this college for your studies. However, the fee is a bit high but the facilities and advantages we get are worth every penny we spend.

90 percent students got internship.

Placements: My college has around 6000 students. The highest salary offered: 35 lacs per annum, the lowest offered 5 lacs and average salary offered 18 lacs per annum. LG company, Tech Mahandra, CTS, etc. are the recruiters. Software developer, Web developer, cloud computing etc roles were offered. The highest 10 lacs, the lowest 6 lacs and average package offered is 8 lacs.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, ground, malls are available for department. There are good quality of hostel, canteen. The quality of food are also good in the mass. Also medical facility is available, sports and games are conducted every week.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly and also knowledgeable too. Teaching quality is very good. It makes students industry-ready. We have to do hard work. But maximum teachers are not good at teaching. University takes a lot of exams.

Other: I am interested in B.Tech CSE so I have chosen that stream. The best thing about my course is teaching skills is good, it improves me. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, Extracurricular activities, etc. are there.
